I wanted to share my honest experience so others know what to expect. I paid $500 for a two session color correction and left with hair that is patchy, uneven, and extremely thinned out. After washing it at home, the damage became even more obvious. I added pictures so people can see what my hair looks like now the texture is rough, my ends are stringy and thin, and the overall result isn't what I expected for the price. I know removing red is difficult, and I didn't expect to be icy blonde in one or two sessions. My disappointment comes from what I was told during my appointments that my hair "lifted really well," that it "looked good," and that I only needed 1-2 sessions to get close to my inspo. Those comments gave me false hope, so I expected a result at least similar to the picture I showed, even if it wasn't as light. When I reached out afterward and respectfully asked for even $200 back to help pay for the correction, she refused. I wasn't rude, I just wanted some fairness considering the outcome and the cost. so I feel it's something others should be aware of before booking. I'm sharing this review so people can make an informed decision. I wish my results had been different, especially with the amount I paid and the condition my hair is now in, but hopefully this helps someone else. Update / Response to the owners comment: Hi, I just want to clarify a few things since a lot of what you wrote isn't accurate. I did not go to anyone else after you. I washed my hair one time, with regular shampoo and conditioner. I didn't tone it, lighten it, or do anything to it. The pictures I posted are from my hair air-drying after one wash. That is exactly how it looks. I also never said I expected to be pearl blonde. I only expected something similar to the inspo and what you told me during the service. You told me my hair lifted very well, that it was looking good, and that I would only need 1-2 sessions. That is why I trusted the process. I didn't refuse to "give my hair a break". You told me to come back the next day, and I did. You removed the toner and lowlights you had applied because they came out patchy and uneven. And regarding the 13 hours you mentioned, some of that time was spent tending to your kids because they needed to be fed, carried, or comforted. I even helped hold them, which I didn't mind at all because I have kids too. But if we're talking about time spent, I was also there the whole time being patient and respectful, so it wasn't just 13 hours of your time. And just to be clear, that second day wasn't originally "free." You tried to charge me almost $200 until I told you I couldn't pay more after already spending $500. I was not the one insisting on rushing anything. My ends were not in this condition when I came in. They were thick, healthy, and I had length. What you're seeing now happened from the work that was done over those two days. That's why I reached out for a partial refund. I paid $500 and did not receive the result or quality I was told to expect. I'm not trying to argue with you I'm just sharing my honest experience and the current condition of my hair. I'm allowed to do that. here's my final clarification. I did not go to another stylist after you. I didn't "wash it a bunch" or try to lighten it myself. I washed my hair one time. The thinning and rough texture showed as soon as my hair dried naturally. Damage doesn't magically show while it's coated in salon products it shows at home, which is exactly what happened. If we're counting hours, let's be honest it wasn't 13 straight hours of actual hair work. There were pauses throughout the service. I sat through all of it patiently without saying a single thing, so don't rewrite it like it was nonstop. You took before pictures of my hair, but none after. If you were confident in the result, you would have taken them. You also sent me inspo examples that weren't even your work to convince me my outcome was normal. The girl in those photos also started with red hair, and her result was way more blended and cleaner than what I left with, which only proves my point. And for the "you leave bad reviews everywhere" comment my last Yelp review was five years ago, so that's irrelevant. I asked for a partial refund because I was genuinely unhappy, and you refused. I have every right to look for someone else before Thanksgiving if two appointments already didn't get me anywhere close to what I asked for.
