Lauren is the best! Her knowledge of color is amazing! I've recently had an organ transplant and lost a lot of my hair and she is helping to get it healthier and grow in. I asked for a trim on my already long curtain bangs. I will never ever go there again. I have only ever been this disgusted in my hair cut once in my life. It was my first time getting the full salon experience, and the hours went by sooo fast because I had a great time talking to her. It was my first visit. I got a hair cut and partial highlights. Tatiana did my hair. Since my hair is so dark, thick, and I hadn't dyed it in about 3 years, the process took 4 hours. The prices are very good. Tatiana was the best! She is very easy to talk to and asked the right questions about my hair. I like how she doesn't repeat the questions, but if you're struggling for an answer, she understands what you mean. I visited the sleek and shear salon on 11/28/2018 and I was seen by Chanice. I explained to her exactly what I wanted and she didn't have a problem with what I was asking for her to do but the cut wasn't short enough! I thought I might be able to work with it. I also decided that I wanted some partial highlights done too. The only problem is that I wanted the highlights a little lighter! I tried to call Chanice so that I could get it fixed to look like what I wanted, but unfortunately I never received a call back! Maybe I should have went with one of the other hair stylist there! It was because of all of the reviews that said that they do great hair there, but the person I was actually wanting to see no longer worked there! Hopefully Chanice will call me back so we can fix this! Otherwise I guess I'm stuck with it!! The salon itself was nice and clean. The one thing that puzzles me, was how we were left alone. I mean it was just my hair stylist and myself!! So it actually took around 3 hours to get my hair done because she kept stopping to answer the phone!! It took so long that I couldn't even sit there to have my hair blow-dried and styled!! I couldn't even finish doing what came with the cut! Also that's what I was paying for! The reason I couldn't sit there any longer was because I've had five back surgeries and it's hard enough to sit much less sit for 3 hours!! It was pretty painful to say the least! The whole reason I even went to do my hair in the first place was so it wouldn't be so painful for me to do on the daily! I live with three different diseases that prevents me from doing my hair. My arms hurt really bad whenever I try to do my hair! So that's why I just wanted a cut that I didn't have to style! I just wanted to be able to shower and just run my fingers thru my hair and go, but that's not how it turned out! I super picky when it comes to a stylist and I found THE ONE! I live in Menifee and have family that live up north in Roseville, CA (7-8hr Drive) who is also a hairstylist. I would drive up north just to get my hair done just because she always does an amazing job and prices me fairly. I got my hair down by Tamilyn and I am IN LOVE with my hair. She knew exactly what I wanted and catered the style/look I wanted to best suit my face shape. She's very knowledgeable in her industry. This salon has the worst service ever. There's a hairstylist name Marissa that works at the salon that is very rude she's not confident in the look that you bring to her she likes to argue with you she did not do my route shadowing properly I asked for a balayage with baby highlights and she did not want to do the highlighting on me she wanted me to come back for four more sessions just to do the baby highlights of my hair which I'm already a blonde she then argued with me in front of people and told me she just doesn't want to do my hair after she already messed up my route shadowing very rude I will never ever recommend this place I would never come back here ever again. I made an appointment yesterday with the owner of the salon for a cut and color. They had been too busy that day (12/15). She made an appointment for me to get a cut and color with Sarah on 12/16 at 4 pm. Today (12/16), I get a phone call at 2 pm from another stylist stating Sarah needed to push back my appointment from 4 to 4:30. I agreed because I understand that this is their busy season. I arrive on time. The same stylist who had made the phone call greeted me and proceeded to tell me that despite the additional time requested,, Sarah needed me to wait a "little longer." I agreed and sat down to wait. At 5:00 pm, I still have not been greeted or approached by my scheduled stylist. She still has not greeted me, give me a status update, or to apologize that she still isn't done with the client. There was no effort to find a solution on her part, instead Sarah allowed the other stylist to provide customer service. At this point, I have waited an additional day to get a haircut, I left work early, and waited a total of an hour to walk out completely dissatisfied. Sarah demonstrated poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and respect for me or my time. Tamilyn was extremely helpful when I made the appointment, and the stylist that tried to help was awesome, but I am wary of even trying again. read more

I came in to do a color on my black hair. Jessica bleached my hair and then went to put color on and the color did not take not only that she burnt off my bangs that were past my chin and now they are above my eyebrows and fried with the rest of my hair. I had an event to go to that weekend and my hair was disgusting I felt like I had a wig on. Jessica said that she made me an appointment with the owner and when I called the owner Pamela was very rude and unprofessional usually an owner will listen and try to help out and she said I don't have you scheduled and im over booked and it's Jessica's responsibility to take care of you because she did your hair. Jessica charged me $420 yea I was there all day not because my hair didn't lift or take long but she also took other clients in between me. But to walk out with my hair the way it was and not get it fixed or even half of my money back to have someone else fix it was ridiculous. I don't even want to give one star for this review but it makes you give something. Im posting pictures of my hair before and after my hair continues to fall out uncertain areas and theirs breakage everywhere. My hair was beautiful before and now it's pretty embarrassing. Caution make sure you ask to see someone work before you let someone touch your hair.
