Ok best kept secret in town for ... COFFEE. The farmers market is great, but the lines are so long for coffee! We went to Strang Hall with the intent to use the restrooms (which btw are very clean!) and low and behold, Strang Coffee was there. I got a vanilla bean latte which was delicious. No line, AC, friendly staff... what more could a girl want?!

Cool spot! There are a variety of restaurants to choose from, all different kinds of food which is great. I'd totally suggest ordering a couple dishes from different places and then sharing everything with a group! Such a fun way to try different restaurants! Prices are in the middle range, with main dishes being around $20. I love the space available. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very kid friendly, as there's a little playground for kids outside. Great vibe!

Amazing wide variety of food from something like 5 restaurants in the one room (sushi, Mexican, etc), and a cute outside seating area and grass play area! (If you are trying to find the bean bags for the corn hole they have outside, you need to temporarily give the bartender your ID to get them so they don't get stolen) I love it and me and my whole family go all the time! Even music sometimes!

I love visiting food halls when traveling because there's truly something for everyone, and you can mix and match dishes from different spots. At Strang Food Hall, I especially enjoyed that each restaurant shares a little story behind its name, it adds a thoughtful, personal touch to the experience. During our December 2025 visit, we tried a few dishes from Anousone and grabbed a pizza from Norcini. There's also a sushi spot, a bar, a café, and a taco place, so it's easy to please even the pickiest eater in your group. There are plenty of tables and seating inside, plus outdoor dining for when the weather warms up. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to try the rest of the vendors.

What a unique concept and idea located in the heart of downtown OPKS. If you never been here before, think of it as place to come when no one in your group can decide what to eat. They have pizza, coffee, bar, Mexican and lots more. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. There is also a parking garage nearby. You can order food and drinks at your table or walk up to place your order.

**UPDATED REVIEW** This review doesn't take anything from my previous reviews but does knock it down to 3 stars due to one important factor: FOOD! The best meal in the place is the Birria Quesadillas by far. Anytime I've ordered anything different I've always been disappointed, and tonight was no different. I decided to try the lasagna because I love my lasagna made with Italian sausage. On the menu it clearly states two options one with and one without Italian sausage of course, I opted for the one with the Italian sausage. That would've been great however I could not taste the Italian sausage. They served it in a bowl and the bowl had some kind of a liquid in the bottom. It was terrible. 3 stars is being very generous on this occasion.

My husband and I went to Strang Hall the other day to get something to eat. There are a variety of restaurants and we went there specifically because some of them have gluten-free choices. Strang hall has a lot of seating and is very clean and the bathrooms were generally clean and modern. The people that cleaned and worked the front desk upon entering were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I don't particularly care for is the ordering system for the restaurants themselves. I don't like having to use an app and it seems like some of the workers are so used to people using the app that if they're asked a question they don't like it. I like to order my food person to person so I can ask a question especially with having celiac and even just ask about a dish. Also, we were not quite sure whether you had to sit in the seating that was kind of directly across from the place you ordered from. Then we realized later on that you can really sit anywhere because you will be the one to go pick up your order and they won't have to bring it to you. So that part is positive, especially if there are less crowded areas. I would go back to try another restaurant or two, but most specifically the coffee shop they have there.

What a great food stop. There's about 5 different food providers. You can order everything by QR code and they bring to the table. You can order from every restaurant!! We had the lasagna. It was ok. The fried Brussel sprouts and the crab rangoons were delish!

I love me a good food court! Strang hall has great vibes and even better food. We ordered from Anousone, Pizza Kraft, and Beer Kitchen. Ordering was easy (at the counter or via Toast). Everyone enjoyed their food. No complaints here!

Shrimp and grits was what I ordered today! So flavorful and really good overall. However, it was just lukewarm temperature wise at best. That was disappointing. We also had gyoza off the happy hour menu. It was piping hot and delicious!

I absolutely love this food hall hangout spot! Strang Hall is such a fun, versatile place with tons of seating both indoors and outside. You've got your pick of 5 different restaurants, plus a coffee shop and a bar. There's something for everyone! Ordering is super convenient you can scan the QR code at your table to order from there, or walk up to each individual counter. There's even a to-go counter, and there you can check out yard games to play in the courtyard! I came early on a Friday morning, but I can totally see this place getting busy later in the day. It's got such a great vibe, perfect for a hangout with friends or a relaxed outing with the family. Honestly, the hardest part is just deciding which restaurant to choose!

Love this place! So many great options, lots of seating, and fun outdoor area. We got food from beer kitchen and the turkey turkey sandwich was phenomenal!! Bbq platter style/thick cut turkey with turkey bacon, avocado, tomato, chipotle white cheddar, chipotle aioli on sourdough -- soooo delicious! My boyfriend got the Burt End Benny and said the biscuits were a little dry, but the burnt ends were good. Great place for lunch & medium to big groups since there are a variety of options and so much open seating.

This was my first time after hearing good things from a lot of people for a long time. It didn't disappoint. I split the Hearty Yellow Curry with veggies and Sticky Rice plate with lemongrass beef from Anousone. It was so good that there wasn't a speck of food left. We soon followed up to order a gooey s'more cookie from Strang Cafe, I watched the guy behind the counter torch the marshmallow to make it fresh and gooey. We went with a group of people this place makes it easy since everyone was able to order whichever kind of food they craved. The atmosphere was casual and there were yard games outside.

Ask the Community - Strang Hall

    Is it dog friendly?

I'd say it's not dog-friendly in the winter because it's an indoor food hall, but once the outdoor space opens up, it may be more dog-friendly during warm weather if you have someone you can leave your pooch with while you order and pick up food.

    Is Strang Hall Kid Friendly?

Yes! At least during the day when I was there, there were many kids of all ages.

Stopped by this afternoon and ordered Coxinha's ($7.99) and a sandwich to-go at the kiosk so I could head to my hotel quickly, before traffic picked up. Total was $23.44. However, the kitchen kept "rejecting" my order! When I complained, I was told it was because I was ordering the pork sausage sandwich ($12.99), which they'd run out of! So I switched to the chicken doido sandwich ($11.99) and the order went through! Total was $22.32. Upon checkin, I ate my food. Enjoyed the Coxinha's (fried chicken dough balls) especially when dipped in the delightful Chimichurri sauce. The sandwich was cold and the fries inedible. Afterwards, I found out my credit card had been charged 7 times - six times wrongly for $23.44 - which were my persistent attempts to order a pork sausage sandwich, and the seventh time correctly for $22.32 for the order I ended up taking away! Unlikely I'll eat here again. And I'm certainly not using the kiosk!

The chicken was bland, and the dish felt like a very poor value for the price. What bothered me even more was the service. I paid with a $100 bill and left approximately a 30% tip, despite being unhappy with both the food and the service. Instead of showing appreciation, the server appeared visibly annoyed, made comments about the payment and tip, and spoke about me in front of me as if I wasn't there. Unfortunately, between the disappointing food, the long wait, and the unprofessional behavior, this was a very negative experience.

We ordered from Streats and Don Felipe's. And we ordered there, from the kiosk, but lots of people were placing online orders or door dash and then coming to pick up. I got the Birria Ramen (life-changingly good) and my friend got the steak quesadilla. Together they formed the ultimate shared meal. I will be back for more of that! What I loved most about this place was the simplicity of the concept. It's not a huge space but there are over 15 restaurants! And while some have other locations in town, most seemed new! The only downside was some of the Doordashers didn't seem to understand the pickup system... you just scan the order on your phone and it finds the order in the system. Simple, but not intuitive. I stopped in at 11am and ordered lunch inside on the kiosk to take to work with me. There were quite a few kitchens that were closed at the time, but I still had the option of over 10 businesses to choose from. My first selection was "not available" when I tried to submit my order, so plan B was some chicken wings from Mr. Wingz. After ordering you can go back to your car and wait for a text or sit on a bench or stool in the tiny claustrophobic waiting area that resembles a tiny bus station lobby. After a 12 minute wait my name popped up on a screen and a lady behind the counter called out my name and I was on my way. There are lockers that are used for Grub-Hub style pick-up's. Although I was not impressed with my food, the concept is certainly unique and for better or worse, what the future holds. Ralphie predicts that these multi-tenant ghost kitchens will be popping up everywhere soon. Myself; I prefer Parlor a few blocks over for variety and a fun Dine-In experience.
