    Chimichurri Steak Skillet

The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. Joseph took amazing care of us. Try the Chimichurri Steak Skillet special while it is on the menu.

I would have taken a photo of my food if it weren't so delicious! Not only did the food look amazing when it came out it tasted amazing! From what I also collected from the server is that some of the food sources are local! We had the huevos rancheros and Homemade Country Fried Chicken! Don't let my photo mislead you I ate the fruit! It was fresh! Service was great and the ambiance was nice! 10/10 all around.

DELICIOUS FOOD! This was my second time coming here and my husbands first. The chorizo biscuits and gravy were delicious. I was worried because sometimes B&G can be heavy and filling in a bad way but these were perfect. Potatoes were seasoned well and eggs and sausage cooked perfectly. Our waitress was sweet and we were served quickly. Nice art and decor on walls

This place. In 2 words authentically delicious. This neighborhood boozy breakfast brunch spot is all the things. I popped in Labor Day weekend and it was humming. We put our name on the list and while every table was packed with diners - the wait felt short. No more than 15 min. This spot has a homey and comfy diner feel. Angel was our server. He was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable and a great mixologist. Yep - he also made our cocktails. The food was so good. You can tell everything is fresh. The menu has popular Mexican dishes like chilaquiles and more. Vegetarian and gf options are on the menu too. My friend ordered the meat breakfast burrito. It was a generous potion. She asked for a side of pico. They didn't have any so they made some just for her?!? What!! That's dedication and extraordinary customer service. My food was so good that I forgot to take a pic. I ordered the migitas - eggs with corn tortillas. It was sooo delicious and a good sized portion. Shout out to the owners who have hired excellent staff like Alex, Angel and Allie (Ellie?) who made our dining experience impeccable. I'll be back.

Another great time at Sunrise in the afternoon. Angel was our server and didn't rush us as they close at 2 and we arrived at 1:33. Thank you!

Small midtown breakfast/ brunch place with a Mexican flair. The place is loud but has a nice urban casual feel. The server was excellent - friendly, warm and polite, but not too intrusive. Despite amazing offerings such as migas or chilequiles, I opted for one of the Benedicts. Tasty and fresh, and the poached eggs were done correctly. My fiancee had breakfast enchiladas which she enjoyed as well. Nice place. I'll be back.

Funky open industrial space in the 39th st district. We ordered the crab cake Benedict and the corned beef hash plus coffee. Coffee was good diner coffee! Crab cake was fresh and the hollandaise was really good. Corned beef hash had some pluses- jalapeño and spice. However the corned beef was flavorless and ground too fine for my taste. I ordered a biscuit on the side and it tasted like a grands biscuit not fresh. Overall it was good and we enjoyed it

Delicious and quaint. Amazing coffee! One of us didn't get the entree we ordered correctly but they were quick to correct it!

Smallish inside, Lavender latte was delicious! We split a plain pancake (which was huge) and a chimichurri steak bowl, also good. Decent portion of steak and enough sauce to coat without being too much. Seasoning on the potatoes was heavy. Overall, we'd eat here again if need be. Friendly staff.

Stopped in before leaving town for breakfast. It's bright with the open windows and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. Food was delicious. The fruit French toast was good. It was sweet, cause it's French toast but not overly sweet. The hollandaise sauce was very good. One of the best I've had. It wasn't a sweet sauce which I prefer and the huevos rancheros were fantastic

This time around my favorite entree wasn't what I remembered. My egg was cooked chard mot over medium and it took until we were done to get another. The skillet itself had potatoes that weren't quite tender but still a bit hard and the seasoning was missing that I feel in love with. I also switched out my drink to spicy pina mezcal as the other was too tart and sour. I appreciated allowance to switch out.

    Huevos Rancheros
    Shane G.

My overall rating is 4.5. Let's start with the food: I had the Huevos Rancheros. I have to admit I've not tried this at a lot of places, but I did based on other reviews. It was excellent. They come with two eggs, any style, and a side. I chose the rancheros potatoes. This is a meal I will crave and drive me to come back. The atmosphere is a little loud, but I enjoy the activity of happy chatter while I'm out. The only partially negative comment I have is the slower than expected service. I know it was busy, but it seemed to take longer than I expected. The good thing was the food was hot, so it's still a win. It's definitely worth a try

Great experience at 9:30 on a Saturday morning. No wait. Ample parking and fun decorations. Good food, good service and good mimosas. What more could you ask for?

On their website for the food menu it says serving from 12-5 but they open at 7? Just wondering if they don't start serving food until noon.

They serve food at 7am. Has to be a typo, because I think they're closed by 5pm

So we loaded up and showed up one day around Noon. Ambiance was really cool. It's in the middle of some sort of progressive looking shanty-esque suburb. The kind of place that does drag queen bingo. I was right at home. Inside was college sport bar, but with a nice, huge board on the wall of all their beer selection. It Was quite expansive. Service was top notch, too. Nice server took care of us, made sure our glasses were never empty. The food came out at a good clips, and we got an unexpected bonus of free little beignet-like donuts with some delicious dipping sauces. As for food, we started off with a jumbo order of the Truffle Parmesan Hand-Cut Fries for the table. We got to choose two from their extensive list of aioli dipping sauces. Fries were good. Dusted with the perfect amounts of truffle and parmesan. And the sauces were my oh my. I recommend paying the upcharge to just try them all. I mentioned the time earlier, because we had no idea we were stumbling upon their brunch menu. Even more options to choose from! I got the Crispy Waffle Smash Burger (smashed hertzog beef patties, fried egg, smoked bacon, merkt's cheddar, caramelized onion, maple aioli, crispy buttermilk waffle). This thing was really nice. Perfect waffle, not too small, not too big, and no oily or anything obtrusive. A nice bun option. Eggs and bacon sometime get lost against giant burger patties, but with these smash patties, the extra accoutrements really stand out and make this burger really stand out in my mind. I also for the try the Smokestack Burger (smoked burnt ends, smoked gouda, whiskey bbq glaze, pickle relish, chipotle aioli & crispy jalapeño straws). Uhhh, as you can read, this thing was loaded with goodness. Fatty burger, smokey burnt ends, sweet boozy glaze, acidic pickles, and texture from that jalapeno. This was the perfect burger. I insist you order this. Overall, my research did not reveal Beer Kitchen to me, locals recommendation did. Shows that you gotta use your street smarts instead of your book smarts sometimes. NA options are still considered an afterthought at a lot of bars, but that is absolutely not the case here. I tried several mocktails and every single one was thoughtfully made and full of flavor. The Deep Fake Eddy was a standout -- bright, citrusy, and very reminiscent of a grapefruit margarita. I also loved the Turmeric Tonic, which had such a great balance of earthy turmeric, citrus, and a subtle kick from cayenne. It tasted elevated and adult, not overly sweet or juice-forward. The Piña Nolada was creamy, tropical, and refreshing, and worked really nicely as a contrast after a couple citrus-forward drinks. Overall, the menu felt intentional and well curated rather than a token NA offering.
