Best addition to Marin! I love their variety of natural wines and spirits! So fun to stop in for a one of a kind bottle to pair with dinner.

Rocky's Quality Meats is the perfect name for them because they do have quality meats. I've ordered their turkey and cranberry panini a couple times as well as the rueben and the tomato and pesto panini. They don't skimp on the quantity of meat in the sandwiches either. They are tucked inside the Santa Venetia market and are a separate business. You have to pay for whatever you ordered at the counter and not the front cashier. Besides their sandwiches they also offer homemade sides, various raw meats, sausages, frozen ravioli and they bbq ribs and chicken outside the market every Friday. The guys behind the counter are always fast and friendly. Be prepared for a long line during the lunch hour. It's worth the wait.

It's inside the market but it's own business (as I understand, partners with the SV Market). It's open Monday-Saturday and they offer top quality meats - from seafood, locally sourced free range chicken, beef and more. I love their homemade Chicken Apple Sausage while my wife prefers their spicy Italian Sausage. We have also enjoyed their sandwiches (beware around 12noon there is a line from folks working at the Marin Civic Center). Our favorite is their Reuben sandwich - with pastrami, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Thousand island dressing then heated in a Panini press. And most every Friday Dante and team are out front smoking and barbecuing. Folks in the community know to come by for Chicken, Ribs, and Tri-tip. Friendly service, reasonable prices and high quality food can be found at Rocky's Quality Meats.

It feels like a true locals' place where people come to relax, and I always have a great time here. Sitting at the bar is the move. Justin is the best--if you have a sense of humor, you probably won't leave without a few good laughs. Every interaction I've had with the staff has been friendly and easygoing. The owner is also awesome and clearly cares about the place. Food has always been solid in my experience, and the house-made pickles are a must. Great food, drinks, people, and atmosphere. I'll definitely keep coming back!!

The restaurant is also facing the street, so it's easily accessible. They are across from Starbird. They probably had really long lines before (or learned from their other location that always has lines). They now have kiosk ordering for take-out and QR code menu on the table. The only time you saw a server was them bringing food to your table. There is a water station next to the entrance. Pay with credit card if you order on the QR code (Apple Pay accepted). If you pay with cash, you get 4% discount and you have to waive down a server. Brisket was good. Baby back ribs were fall off the bone. We had a party of two, which we noted in the order, and we ordered a small size, which comes with three bones. They gave us four ribs! The sides here are so flavorful. The potato salad was great. The mac n cheese was so cheesy and creamy with white cheddar from Wisconsin. The dill pickle was sour. The B&B pickles were sweet. I would love to try the beef brisket chili next time. The sauces here are definitely lacking. Only the spicy BBQ sauce was good and actually had a spice kick. The eastern carolina and white alabama are not even worth tasting imo. The public restroom is across the entrance, on the same side as Starbird.

Why, well we stopped by today to get some "fresh cut deli Meat" There was 5 or 6 people trying get their orders.... ONE clerk. The clerk was busy. We waited 26 min. During the wait we observed 4 different types of meats laying out on the metal tables around the base of the slicing machines. One of the slicer was covered in meat juice dried on. it still had a turkey chunk still in the machine. All the meats were brownish, which is exactly what you get when you leave meat out exposed to the air and uncovered. We had already filled the cart with other over priced items. Even though they put out the weekly sales flyer every Wednesday. Items on sale are always gone, they never restock and clearly there is no manager that gives a darn. Most of the employees act like or don't speak English when you attempt to ask for assistance. The store is a dump, needs to be closed down.... Left our cart at the vacant customer service both...........we gone. Hey not a total loss, went down to the Strawberry Village Safeway. WOW night and DAY difference. Super long isles fully stocked. The deli is spotless and everything in the store is clean, neat orderly. Even the carts where clean. Total different crowd of customers, Employees where helpful knowledgeable and had a since of pride about their Store.. Our new Safeway add a mile, no big deal. Traffic will be bad during the week and we were told it's a busy store. I can see why, Corte Madera Sucks so everyone comes here.

The $14.99 sandwich was pre-cut and full of thick pieces of steak. There was a ton of arugula and pickled red onion. This was a very good homemade tasting sandwich of great quality. The market itself is pretty low key, very dense and small. It has everything you need but it doesn't have the produce that I would normally get at a Whole Foods or Good Earth. The service was good and it was very convenient to go to. We will definitely come back to get sandwiches here whenever we have a picnic nearby. It was convenient. The redwood park nearby did not disappoint.

This review is for take-out…read more My first time ever in Mill Valley and was visiting friends. I saw that I could order dinner for takeout... $70 of disappointment. Though the staff were very friendly and the speed/ timeliness for my pickup was great, the food was sub par. The fried chicken bucket was supposed to have two pieces of breast, thigh, and drums. I got three drums, three thighs, and a drum-thigh. I didn't expect the batter to have a weird seasoning (reminded me of Shake and Bake) as opposed to a restaurant-quality fried chicken batter recipe. Then sad flavorless, soft slaw (instead of crisp so likely not made fresh) that was missing the jalapeños and salt and some sugar. Mashed potatoes had good texture but tasted sour! Corn bread muffins were a bit undercooked in the middle. The warm chocolate chip cookies were delicious and chock full of chocolate chunks, but that's about it. The Brussels sprouts were burnt and tasted burnt... soaked in soy sauce. The peach cobbler was insanely sugary and tasted like chopped canned peaches baked into extra sugary, pound cake-like bread pudding. $12 for what looked to be like a mush in a bottom of the cup (see photo for the ridiculous portion). It was disappointing to have to throw out more than half of this order. *The indoors and outdoor seating look really cute though.
