We had a good stay on the Stratford Suites. Is this a 5 star accommodation or a luxury resort? No, but we didnt encounter anything specifically wrong with the property. The area is very conveniently located to the airport and a few casinos, one of which we attended a concert at. Lots of grocery shopping and restaurants around. We found the room to be comfortable, clean, and in good condition overall. We didn't experience much in the way of noise from the connecting suite. It's possible you could end up with some loud neighbors which might affect your stay. The walls did seem a bit thin. It was nice having a full kitchen so that you could make food in the room if you wanted. My only possible negative is that the refrigerator/freezer didnt have an ice maker, nor was there an ice machine on the property. The staff were friendly. I dont really have too much else to say. I would stay there again if I were in the area. read more

Run down and dirty is the best way to describe this hotel. The dishes were dirty in the cupboards, nothing wiped down and basically just gross. decided to try this place based on it having a kitchen, but left immediately because it was just unacceptable. Besides being filthy and run down, the mattresses were terrible, the cheapest possible option I'm sure. No free on site breakfast and parking is also an issue if you have full size work trucks. Normally I like this place. It's not up to date especially for the price. But having bedrooms is nice when going with friends. Unfortunately they have a policy that's not posted anywhere online saying that if they sell out rooms they will charge your card immediately without telling you. I didn't have the money in my account so my card wouldn't charge. I did mess up my phone number input but they didn't send me an email asking me about my card or to tell me they cancelled. So when I showed up after a 7 and half hour drive, with my family late that night we had to scramble to find a new place during state basketball tournament weekend. Thanks for nothing. read more

We stayed here after researching a lot of different options for coming in on the weekend. With the two little guys, it made sense to have a place with room to spread out and for them to have their own space. It allowed us to avoid holing up in a bathroom while the kids try to sleep each night! The place is located in airway Heights, which is about 15 minutes west of downtown Spokane. It made for a little bit of a drive each time we went in, but overall the inconvenience is made up for the fact that we had plenty of room. The two room suites, are set up with a kitchenette, a good size bathroom and two individual rooms. There's plenty of space in each of the rooms, and a nice living room area. The TV in the living room was a 50 inch flatscreen and they have digital cable. We haven't had cable in a lot of years, so it was nice to be able to watch family guy in the evenings! There's also a DVD player (the nearest Redbox is down at the Walmart). They do not have a pool or hot tub on site, but they do have grills that are available outside, as well as some common space on the grass with some picnic tables and shaded areas. It's nice to be able to grab your own stuff and then make it. Internet is free and while it's not super fast, the coverage is good The office has slightly odd hours, as they don't open until nine in the morning. They've got a legit coffee machine with dark brew, espresso and hot chocolate options- it'd be nice if they were open earlier! They also make cookies each evening at 5 pm. It was always good to have something for the little dudes to look forward to! All in all, this was a solid place to stay with two little dudes who love to be up early and two parents who very much enjoy not having to hang out in the bathroom after 7:30. Not exactly where the action is, but a quick hop to downtown and there's plenty of stuff in the area nearby. Worth staying here if you've got kiddos and like a little extra space! read more

I would not recommend staying here. This place is disgusting! There is mold everywhere and a very dirty heating system. Dining room chairs taped up by duct tape .... Dirty, dirty, dirty. I love this place. It's a little out of the way, meaning not in the heart of spokane but rather airway heights. But it's just a hop skip and a jump away and takes no time at all to get into the city. The cost is super reasonable and they take dogs. This is a must for us. It's like a little apartment. It has separate rooms, a kitchen (fully stocked with utensils) a fridge, microwave, stove and dishwasher, table and living room with 2 tvs. Seriously a comfy little place. It's quiet and located next to everything!! Examples are: walmart, pizza hut, panda express, Mc donalds, rusty moose , star bucks, and a longhorn bbq. I stayed here a couple of weeks over the summer. Though it has some nice amenities like comcast, parking, and laundry. However, there was a mouse in my room - like I literally saw it run across my floor. The fridge broke down. The drain in my sink and bathtub were partially clogged and didn't drain well. Three stars is "A-OK" and that's a fair assessment of my experiences at Stratford Suites. Over the last few years, I've stayed here about a half dozen times. What I like: Plenty of room in the suites Free washers and dryers in the laundry room Very clean rooms and grounds Convenient small kitchen in the room Friendly staff Free WiFi They take dogs. What I thought could be better: Online reservation process is a bit inconsistent -sometimes you don't get an email confirming your room. During hot weather, the A/C only seems to reach the main living room. The 2nd bedroom has a ceiling fan, but you have to sleep with the door open to get any air into the master bedroom. All the staff leaves overnight, so if you have any kind of urgent issue, you're left to your own devices. For the majority of the time, that shouldn't be an issue. For me, there was a problem and no one answered the Stratford Suites emergency numbers. It's frustrating to be a guest somewhere with no one to help you when you need it. Even though I left messages, no one ever followed up with me the next day. There seems to be a communication void between all the various phone numbers. My advice would be to confirm a good emergency number to call when you check in. Consider it like any kind of insurance...something you get and hope you'll never need to use. Ice trays in the freezer. There is no ice maker in the refrigerator and they only give you one tiny ice tray to make your own ice. There should be a couple of regular sized ice trays to use. This place is seriously disgusting. The baseboards, light fixtures and floors are grimy. They did not provide housekeeping on the schedule they provided upon check in. The dishes provided have burn marks on them. Everything is very cheap. The front desk staff is unprofessional and act like they are doing you a favor just to answer a question. Also the sprinkler was leaking into the bedroom and you can smell mold/mildew. They didn't even set up a fan to dry the carpet at all. The maintenance man for the building dismissed my concerns even after stating that the drywall was wet and said "it was too cold for mold". Wow. Not as advertised! They advertise a nice condo that you can stay in for long periods of time , certainly not what you walk in to. Its more like a flat hotel surrounded by nothing but desert and prairie with VERY bad wifi. In my one week stay so far ( i work from home) , the lights have gone out in my room, the wifi is so slow i have to turn it off and use cellular data if i want to use my phone or tablet. My laptop, aka my job, loses internet every half hour or so and i lose all my progress , which extends my work day by hours . Total scam with bare minimum effort put in and ridiculously over priced . Great location, very quiet neighborhood, just minutes away from Spokane. The interior is cozy, with hdtv and free wireless internet, fridge, stove, and kitchen utensils/cookware, useful for extended stay. No central a/c or heater, but the window a/c works fast, and the 3 or 4 heaters built into the wall of each room also work great. If you want to stay away from the congestion of the big city and enjoy a little small town setting, then this is a good choice at Airway Heights. read more

Yuck!!! Worried about Corona Virus while traveling? Then don't stay here. If they can't even clean up the dead flys or other basic cleaning then how well are they disinfecting the place? Coffee maker hasn't been cleaned in years, glad I brought my backpacking french press and my own creamer as it turns out that was not something they bothered to supply in the room. Asked about getting a room closer to the parking lot as I am road tripping (thus a lot of gear to bring in) and they literally laughed at me though the place is no where near capacity. Get locked out if your room? It is "$35 as the office closes at 10 PM and you may be waking us up." "How about during the day just out of curiosity?" "Still $35." So for them to walk 20 feet and buz the key lock, it is $35 charge. I guess they take siesta? And please, don't try to sit in the recliner, you will want to shower with scalding water and sterilize your clothing after. Lastly, dogs are allowed and you are expected to clean up the litter outside but make sure you bring your own bags as that is another expense they couldn't be bothered with. read more

This place is so misrepresented online. My husband and I went for a little getaway for the weekend. He booked the 2 bedroom suite as it had everything we were going to need to block out the world and just be together. On the website our room was supposed to have a full size fridge, fireplace, pillow top mattress and premium bedding. Not even close. No fireplace at all. The bed was not a pillow top nor were the sheets premium anything. I literally went to the store and bought my own. The towels were like sandpaper. The shower was filthy and there was no water pressure. There was 1 small garbage can in the kitchen which did not even hold a few paper plates, let alone garbage from cooking for the weekend. The lights in one room did not work and the stove was disgusting. In fact we did not cook there it was gross. The recliner was broken and dirty. The room was so very dark. It was almost claustrophobic. The few light there did not help. Other things it was supposed to have. Separate dining, living room and sitting area. It was literally all one space. No desk at all. Supposed to be 24 hour check in but. I we were told it would be $35 if they had to come out there. Supposed to have washer and dryer nope. I honestly have stayed in nicer rooms for a lot less. I thought this place was not good. I posted a 2 star review on Trip Advisor, and someone at the facility is going out of their way to try and remove it. Here is the deal with the place. It has a lot of space. But the amenities are cheap. The AC didn't have enough power to the cool the room. The plush chair in the living room was so stained I wouldn't sit in it. The beds were uncomfortable. It is in a part of town where you can expect a lot of noise all night. Now in fairness to this establishment, you get a lot of room on the cheap. Just know what it is. This place felt like home! From the moment we got there, we were comfortable from the accomodating staff (fresh, homemade cookies!) to cozy...but spacious units (with a 50 inch flat screen!). They were fully furnished with a more than sufficient kitchen that even had granite counter tops. All around, I give it two thumbs up. What a great place to stay. My wife and I were traveling with our 8 month old baby and we needed a quiet place near the airport and Stratford Suites was the ticket. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even had a pack n play ready in our room when we arrived. We had 2 bedrooms so we were able to put our daughter in her own room so we didn't have to whisper all the time. Though we were surrounded by people in other rooms we never heard a single sound from anyone. I would definitely stay here again. read more

The rooms are very spacious, the one we stayed in had two individual bedrooms with beds big enough for two adults to sleep in comfortably. Pet friendly, smoking/non-smoking rooms, a flat screen TV in the living room and one in the master bedroom, very spacious ADA bathroom, nice kitchen with stove/oven/ medium sized fridge/microwave, coffee pot. A comfy couch/recliner in living room, a kitchen table with three chairs. Friendly staff. Only share two walls with accompanying suites, very reasonable price. Free wi-fi. DO NOT STAY HERE - BEDBUGS We found bedbugs in both beds in our two bedroom suite here, in room 125, on our stay Wednesday, August 28th. When we reported this to the management their representative offered us a refund and booked us at another hotel in one room. They did not offer to pay for the room for us at the other hotel, regardless of the fact that we had to repack, at 11:00pm at night, get in the car and go somewhere else, re-register and then end up with a sleeping arrangement we did not want. We booked a two bedroom suite so we could have two bedrooms. When I asked them to pay for two rooms for us at the other hotel, they refused. What kind of crappy customer service is that after we found bedbugs in our beds. We had to find another hotel on our own, book it, travel there, re-register and then come home, wash everything we had in the room with us and put all of the non-washables in a plastic bag in the freezer. What an awful way to treat customers! I will NEVER return here and totally recommend you stay away from this place. read more

We were there for about 2 weeks and loved it! There was plenty of room for our family of five and big screen tv with cable. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils we needed and had a full size fridge. The bathroom was big and had very good water pressure. A perfect place to stay for family. My teen kids love it very much. The front desk is very polite and willing to help. I booked the room with hotel's website. It gave me a "system error" after my first try. I went through the process again and booked room with a confirmation email. The front desk found out I have two rooms booked under my name. It is quickly fixed after I told them what happened. The room is very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. If you want to cook yourself, there is a Walmart 1 min away where you can get anything. As I was on my way back from Yellowstone, I just has nothing to complain about this place after stayed in the lodges there. read more

My family and I stayed here while we were in the process of relocating. They have 1 or 2 bedroom suites. It felt like a nice, small apartment. Fridge/freezer, 4 burners and small oven, coffee pot and microwave. The living room has a leather couch, cloth chair, coffee table and end tables. The master bedroom had a TV and full dresser. They also have a laundry center that is free to those staying there and have about 5 washer and dryers. The staff was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful anytime I went into the office. Always polite and made you feel welcome. They bake fresh cookies every evening and serve coffee all day. Every Thursday they order pizza and have sodas/water that is free to those staying there. We felt very comfortable during our long stay. I did not hear any noise in the evening as one mentioned in another review. I would have given them 5 stars, but the carpet could use a very good cleaning or be replaced all together. And the chair in the living room had stains throughout. I have stayed here on numerous occasions, over the past few years, usually only for a night. The front desk is always smiling, nice, and helpful. Our room is always clean and fresh smelling Each unit is like a fully furnished, fully equipped, small apartment. There is a 50" flat screen t.v. Along with a leather couch and recliner. There is even a vacuum in each unit, leading me to believe it gets vacuumed regularly. In the winter the staff is out at dawn shoveling and icing the walks. It is within walking, and delivery, distance to many food establishments including Pizza Hut, Panda Express to name just a few. We always stay here when visiting the Spokane Valley read more
