The replacement tires could be ordered, but after explaining our situation of a drywall screw in my husband's tire they recommended coming in to have it looked at. I got in that afternoon with no issues. They took the offending tire off and assessed the whole situation to find that they could patch it from the inside. The salesman, not an engineer, not a scientist but salesman, convinced her my pick would cause alot of noise. The magic word is noise. Untrue by all accounts of this tire, but enough for her to take his "advice" and put a different set of tires on, most likely to move inventory or make a higher profit margin. The prices here are not cheap and service is clearly not their priority. I went in to buy tires and have them installed on a Saturday AM without an appointment. I was prepared for them to tell me I would have to schedule later in the week but they agreed on the spot. I had to ask where I could wait and was directed to a waiting area in the corner of the shop. I went and sat down and put on my earbuds and audio book. I waited and waited. No one came to tell me that my car was ready. When I got up and asked, I learned that it had been ready for some time but no one had alerted me. When I asked why I was not summoned when it was done, I was met with hostility and an absurd excuse about how there is no phone signal. This was not the problem because I made and received calls on my phone while I waited. It's clear to me that this wasn't a simple mistake rather an indifferent service culture. Basic courteous service is pretty simple. This is how it works. On intake, the means of communication must be recorded on the paperwork, including whether the customer is waiting on the premises or when the work will be completed and the customer will return. When the job is done, you take the invoice and (gasp!) WALK AWAY FROM THE SERVICE DESK TO THE WAITING AREA AND ASK FOR THE CUSTOMER BY FIRST AND LAST NAME AND WAIT FOR A RESPONSE. If you don't find them there, you call them on the phone number that you asked for in the sales interview. If they can't accomplish the most basic means of human communication, I don't know how I can trust them with my car. I will not be going back. read more

I brought in a BMW wheel with a flat tire looking for new rubber. They found the rim was cracked and so I asked them to order me another rim. The rim they ordered was NOT a matching rim but some aftermarket rim. They took my sensored valve and replaced it with a non sensored valve. My husband stopped by on Tuesday to have a tire looked at because we have a slow leak. We have lifetime repair because we had bought a wheel and tire package from them. He was told that they didn't have time then but he could make an appointment. At the time he was told that Saturday was wide open so he made an appointment for noontime today. We got there a little early and checked in. After waiting for about 45 minutes he went and checked on the car because it was still sitting where we parked it. I ignored the fact that they seem to be ridiculously slow based on the fact that they are closer than most places to where I live. Made an appointment to come in at 11am. Called to try to reschedule it, and not only were they not able to accommodate it, they somehow lost my appointment at 11! I was looking for new tires for my 2011 explorer. I've hated the tires on my explorer and didn't really feel safe driving it. It made the worse sound going down the road that drove my dogs crazy. Ordered 4 winter tires online (their website) and made appointment online. Appointment was 10:30 this morning, because I decided not to wait (B/C of Covid) I dropped the car off at 9:00AM and said to call when tires/alignment were complete. Total price is $1000. + but that's a function of the tires I purchased. My wife has had good service here (Somersworth store) on her old Subaru, but apparently that was a mirage. After calling the local store number (HAH!) four times and spending an average of four minutes in queue, I finally got answered in a call center at an undisclosed location (I'm pretty sure I heard Dick Cheney in the background on another call). The agent said (at 2:30PM) that the install was not finished and they would call me when the car was ready. I thought the problem was that I told them I wasn't waiting for the vehicle, but after reading other reviews it appears that time is a rather elastic concept at TFT. Now it is Friday (same day so far) SEVEN MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING TIME and I have yet to get a call. Uninterested at best customer service because: 1. No actual commitment to actual "completion time" estimates; 2. No way to call the real people (if that's what they are) at the store to receive updated estimates or explain what the "problems" are. So now they will be closed for the day by the time I finish typing this, with no committment from TFT as to when I get my car back; when I can FINALLY reclaim my vehicle I won't be surprised if it's been vandalized/broken into overnight or that some component of the suspension/TPMS has been damaged by their personnel. I'll only be returning to the Lair of the Time Lords at TFT for the free services to which I'm entitled by making the mistake of buying tires there. read more

I was told if I just go in, they will tell me how long it will take and if they could get it done by the end of they day. Once I arrived there they said they were booked out over a week and a half. They asked if 12:30 or 1:30 PM was better time and, since I work later afternoons I wanted to get in and done earlier. They didn't even get my car started until 1:30..... could have stayed home an extra hour. I will never buy tires here again. I have had the tires for 2 years and every winter I have to keep taking them back because the TPMS stems stop working or fail to hold air. I have put less than 5,000 miles on them. This wouldn't be so bad if I could simply make an appointment to have them done while I wait. Despite all their advertising about being able to schedule an appointment, I have been refused that convenience every time for 2 years. Instead, I have to drop my car off by 8:30 AM, get a ride home, call several times to see if they have even looked at my car, wait 8 hours, try to find another ride to pick up my car, and now I have to take it back because they have no idea why my TPMS light won't go out. They claim all 5 sensors died at the same time which is nearly a statistical impossibility. During a phone call to find out the status of my vehicle, I was placed on hold. I waited so long I was thrown in their voicemail system so I hung up. When I called back, the same guy answered and started laughing stating he got distracted and forgot about me. I am not knowledgeable about cars and often times at other places have felt condescended when car related things are being explained to me because it is obvious I have no idea what they are saying. None of the associates here made me feel this way. The associate Jake went above and beyond what I would have expected in customer service when I had difficulty finding a part at a local parts store that they needed for my tire during the alignment. When I questioned this a man named Brad was pleasant and offered to beat the price and become the best. After that you would think I would get a sub par experience because of a discounted price. Had a very poor experience. Scheduled my appointment two weeks prior for 9:30 AM, got there on time. I was told that the service would take about an hour and a half. Went back an hour and a half later, they hadn't even taken my car in yet. I was also not thrilled that they charged me before they took my car in, asked for a refund which was granted. It's the only place I've ever been to where they charge you upfront, not a fan of this policy.
