I had to try the biggest slice as I have heard how delicious it was. From the friendly cashier explaining each slice was so helpful! Oh my gosh! Cashier was extremely rude, told me it would take about 3 minutes for my order to be ready. About 10 minutes later I asked if she had an estimate and she told me I had to wait because they were busy and that I was being rude, when all I did was to ask her about the time. If you don't know how long it will take, just say "I'm not sure, at least 10 minutes, but it can take longer", do not say 3 minutes if it's going to take you 15. read more

We decided to give Anthony's a try after hearing good things. We ordered by phone and referenced their online menu. When we got there the total was $18 more than what we expected and what their online menu reflected. When asked about the difference, they said they couldn't update their website and they had a price increase. Not only is that a 50% increase on the two items we ordered, but it's also against the MA state pricing law. I have found since my initial review that my fiance and I are coming here more than other places that are in our rotation. I am big on consistency and Anthony's has had better consistency than it's local competitors. I still think the prices are fine and comparable to their competitors. This is has been one of the more consistently good places in 2018. We will be going back when they are back from their holiday. read more

Anthony's is a Greek pizza/sub place. They have Greek specialties like baklava and gyros. They seem more geared to the younger crowd. The gyros are made with fried pitas. But they get five stars because they sell chocolate-chip brownies from The Ice Cream Machine in Cumberland, RI. read more

I'd never been inside or eaten here before today but I drive by all the time. I noticed the place after they were renovated. It's clean and has plenty of tables. But the decor felt cold. I've heard it gets hot in here in the summer but being winter, I was freezing! There was no line and we ordered a buffalo chicken calzone. But take out was busy and we waited a lil while for our food to be made. The calzone was good but sadly, extra sauces cost 75 cents! It came with two. Their blue cheese seems worth it though! Yummy and huge chunks of cheese! I would like to come back and try the pizza. They also have lots of other sandwiches and desserts too. read more

I've been to an Anthony's pizzeria in Medford and that one was awesome. The portions of the meals were huge and u got your moneys worth. Best pizzas hamburgers subs and galore cooked to perfection. But this Anthonys pizza is a fraud one compared to the 1 i used to go to in Medford! The subs are empty with barely any meat and cheese and they can't cook a handburger or pizza for nothing. read more

called to order two pizzas for pickup. woman who takes order tells me $39 dollars. I looked at the menu online and it said a different price. I asked the woman taking my order and she rudely said "oh we will update it soon". so I placed my order husband went to pick up two large pizzas. One is a cheese. The other with two toppings. Both pizzas were smaller than a normal large pizza. Same woman gave my husband attitude when he asked why the menu online is not the price we were charged. I have been ordering lunch from here for over 4 years. Used to be my favorite salads. Not sure what happened. I got one today and it's about 1/4 of the chicken they use to give and the chicken was ice cold, certainly not fresh. The lettuce was watery. I prefer NY style pizza, and the crust tasted more like a lighter pie crust. The sauce was delicious though! Third, the place was very clean, spacious, and filled with delicious smells from the kitchen. Finally, the staff were all super friendly and prompt. We've ordered pizza and sub delivery several times. Everything is good. Tonight I ordered on my way home from work and decided to pick up. Given 25 minute estimate. It was really 45 mins for 2 cold tuna subs. Wouldn't have been such a big deal if I hadn't needed to listen to Newsmax screaming in the background on a giant TV that you could not get away from. I stood around for about 20 minutes until I finally said something to the women behind the counter. There was only 2 people cooking and my pizza order hadn't even been looked at yet. I got a meatball sub and my partner got a parmesan sub and we combined them. Greatest idea ever! More importantly the subs were really good, the service was quick and they have a huge tv so I was appropriately distracted. The best part was the toasted bread. So key. The meatballs and chicken aren't gonna win any prizes but the sauce was great so the overall subs were delicious. My partner and I kind of have to eat on the go so the quick service was nice. They gave us lots of napkins and the wax paper around the subs was sturdy so no spills. The restaurant itself is very clean and nice looking.
