We used this company for foundation repair in 2017 and all went well. In 2022, some of the porcelain tile on the opposite side of the house started to crack and some cracks on the walls too so we called them and they came out. The man was polite and went around the house and entered some numbers in his tablet. He said it was minimal movement and for that he didn't recommend any action just keep the soaker hose in use and the tile was probably due to the hot summers which we understand can happen. My issue is that he said he would email me the report but I never received it. It took calling and emailing this company 3 times to get a response and a very short response only. The email said we don't provide reports when there's no work done. Really??? Then why did their employee said otherwise??? I think it's very deceptive not to get a report. We have had more tile crack and walls since then so we are calling another company and we will never recommend this company to anyone. read more

We sent them our engineering report and they responded the same day with a detailed repair estimate that was very competitive. As it turned out, our buyers agreed to do the repairs so we did not actually use them. But we appreciate the good service. read more

The guy did show up but didn't appear to really know what was going on. Walked around the house and just told me I needed an engineer and he didn't do that stuff. He was supposed to text or call me back with some referrals for engineers and I never heard back from him or anyone else from the company. read more

I met with one of the consultants (Ryan) to have my home evaluated. He was very punctual, professional, and courteous. He was very honest with what work needed or did not need to be done which was very much appreciated. Good job and I'm pleased with the work. We received quotes from 5 different companies but chose Stratum because they were the most professional and provided great customer support.. A friend of mine had also recommended them. They were flexible when I needed to reschedule my date. Our job was "easy" and took 3/4 of the day with no hiccups. They needed to remove several boards from our deck to get to the correct location to dig for a pier and they did an EXCELLENT job putting the deck back together! You can't even tell anything was done to the area. The engineer slightly altered the plan from the original quote and the foreman failed to mention that, which freaked me out a bit when the piers weren't where I expected them. Also, I wish they'd done a little better job putting my backyard back together. Overall, I'm happy. The walls looks great and my house is level again. read more

We're late arriving, but were able to finish in one day. While the foundation work seems to be great (house is so much more level), we have some complaints: -they left quite a bit of trash around and under our bushes. Chip bags, drink bottles, etc. -they did a very sloppy job replanting our boxwood...which has now died. I understand that they aren't landscapers, but it was pretty bad. - they threw out our Sentricon (termite control) system without saying a word. Now we have to have the system reinstalled, but have to wait for the soil to become compact enough for holes to be dug. Again, foundation seems great, but their overall consideration for our yard and house is subpar. read more

I hope to be able to update this review, but so far have not had any contact with the company to resolve the issues. The crew is polite and, of course, hard-working. However, they broke the concrete on my driveway... which the only solution they offered to fix it was to lower the house, which seems pretty counter-productive. I wasnt too upset... but THEN they busted the main water line to the house, which apparently happened right as they were leaving (a one-day job becoming 2, apparently)...and I was told "we don't handle that"...so an emergency plumbing call (which was with Levy & Sons, who felt sorry for me and ONLY charged me $600 instead of the book price of $890). My neighbor, who does concrete, came over and estimated my driveway to be $4000. THEN I got an invoice from Stratum for $200 MORE than the original quote. And...no one has contacted me yet to resolve the issue. I really hope we can work something out... but as of right now I'm really disappointed. I feel bad that this may reflect on the guys actually doing the work, when it is a management issue. Mistakes happen, but you still have to be responsible for those mistakes. Awesome service from Stratum and their staff! As a Realtor, it's good to know who you can count on and who your customers can count on. The feedback I receive from my clients and other agents in my office is always very positive. Had an agent the other day that was looking for a foundation company to come out and take a look at one of his clients homes. I had a few small cracks in my garage and in one bedroom that gave me a little concern. Read reviews online and Stratum had the best. Their Sales Manager Ryan Williams came out on time to review my home and assured me the cracks were the result of normal settling for the homes age. Ryan took the time to walk me around the exterior of my home and explained what to look for in case a foundation issue may come up in the future. Nice to have some piece of mind now. The only reason a 5 star rating was not given was because I did not have any actual foundation repairs done so I cannot judge that portion of their work. read more

The inspector arrived at my house just a bit early, which was great. He was honest as he looked at the house, telling me that the cracks we found were from just a slight bit of settling and that no immediate work needed to be done. He gave me a guide on how to water our foundation and looked at everything I was worried about and explained what they were. I can't imagine they would pass up business unless nothing really needed to be done. Four stars for the polite and knowledgeable inspection. I have already recommended them to a coworker. read more

Great experience with Stratum Foundation Repair. I was impressed with their professionalism from my first meeting through to the completion. I was informed of all the steps. Knew who was coming and what they were going to do. The men arrived on time the morning of the repairs and were polite and very efficient. They went right to work and completed the job in short order. My property was left clean, flower beds where filled in and any debris was removed by them. My patio required holes to install the piers. They repaired the cement before leaving and 3 wks later I cannot tell where the patches are. I thought their price was very fair and would recommend them to anyone. read more

I had several companies come give me bids to fix my foundation. Though stratum said I could fix it now or wait until it got worse, the other companies told me that they didn't do it until it was worse. I wanted to be more pre-emtive and fix it before it got worse and Ryan from Stratum agreed. They did a great job. A crack I had in my grout is now so hard to see you wouldn't know it was there and the crack I had in my wall is all but gone too. They did a great job and I feel that of the companies I talked to they were the most honest and concerned with helping me now and not waiting until it was worse and cost me alot more money. read more

the site foreman was focused on customer satisfaction and maintaining a good communication open between the company and the customer, the work was done efficiently, the result was as expected (done right), the price was fair according to the market price, the warranty is worth hiring them for, the salesman was down to earth and a practical thinker and talker (i really like this approach) K.I.S.S. method (keep it simple stupid), the owner was kind and respectful, the Engineering firm, staff member (structural engineer), was a nice guy and also down to earth, I would recommend them to anyone I know. We've used Stratum to correct a number of foundation issues over the past and have always had a great experience!

Jason did a great job at helping us diagnose and fix a water filled void under our foundation. He came and looked at the place and figured that's probably what was happening. He told us he could drill into the floor to check, but he'd have to charge us for it and that it was a simple test to run ourselves to drill into the floor and drop a dowel in there to see if it came back up wet, so we went ahead and did it ourselves and found water. He came back out, drilled more holes and filled it with expanding foam stuff. A week later we still saw evidence of water coming up, so he came back and filled in more foam. The kicker? He didn't charge us for the 2nd visit because he hadn't fixed it fully on his first visit. That's good service right there. Hopefully we don't ever need to call him again, but we'll definitely be going back to stratum should we need foundation help again! read more

A friend of ours referred us to this company. We had taken a bid from the original company that first worked on our house 7 years ago. Stratum was half the price of the other company. Getting your foundation fixed makes a huge mess all over the house. When they left it just looked like we tilled our dirt up a little around our house. They did a great job! While they were here they found a huge gap in the spot the other company had fixed and worked a deal to fix that as well. I would recommend them anytime! read more

Very professional. Had several quotes and they were competitively priced. Took time to explain several options in detail and address all of my concerns. They showed up after I left for work one day. When I came home, you could barely tell they had been there. My neighbor said all of my plants had been uprooted and moved while they worked. I could barely tell. They also caulked around my windows and fixed all mortar cracks by hand. Dealing with foundation issues is about as fun as going to the dentist so I really appreciate everything Stratum did to make the process as painless as possible... The whole process took half a day, the gap in the wall is gone. I don't see any interior/exterior damage due to this work yet, hopefully it'll stay that way. The only complain i have is they could've done a better job cleaning after themselves and leveling the dirt in the flower bed. read more
