The coaches do an incredible job of developing the kids' basketball skills while also teaching discipline, hard work, accountability, teamwork, and life lessons that extend far beyond the game. The coaching staff is knowledgeable, dedicated, and truly cares about every player's development. They challenge the kids to be their best while creating a positive and encouraging environment where they can build confidence and enjoy the game. What really sets this club apart is the community. The support from the other parents is amazing, and everyone genuinely cheers for each other's kids. It feels like one big family, making it easy to build friendships and feel welcomed from day one. Most importantly, the kids have a great time learning and competing, and the parents enjoy being part of the journey as well. If you're looking for a program that develops not only great basketball players but also great young people, I highly recommend Dublin United!

Our experiences in recreational team was a reflection of what our friends warned us. To be fair, recreational teams are often taught by teenagers, so we didn't have high expectations--but they managed to sink even lower. Here is a breakdown of what happened: -At one point, there was only one coach, Gary, for over 30 kids. This was the only thing they actually apologized for. -They switched the program days from Mon/Wed to Tue/Thu. We signed up a month in advance but were only notified two days before it started.Broken Promises: Saturday games were supposed to be included in the fees. Once we started, we were told they were canceled due to a "waiver issue." There was no formal notice or apology. Most parents only found out because they proactively asked for Saturday's schedule. Meanwhile, they charge competitive teams extra to play on Saturdays. If they remove a promised service, shouldn't they offer a credit? - We had different coaches every week. After about a month, they finally assigned the same college students consistently, which was the only slight improvement we saw. - It's not just about a shirt, but Gary kept promising they'd be ready "next week." The program ended, and we never saw them. We don't need more T-shirts but It's just another example of them cutting corners. As much as we wanted to stay local in Dublin, we've decided to drive further for a better program. This organization lacks basic integrity. Imagine your kids making friends and being stuck paying for high-priced tournaments year after year, knowing the club shamesly cuts corners at every turn. Avoid them at all costs.

In that email, they had old covid protocols from 2020. They really need to update their "welcome" information for parents. - The class is for ages 5-12 and they keep the kids together. The problem with this is that 5 year olds do not have the attention span or understanding as the older kids. To have them all together and essentially "punish" the older kids to hold a "stretch" position until the younger kids are able to catch up is not right. They need to split kids up by age groups and create a more positive learning experience. - Coach Sam is not someone who exhibits a positive cheer attitude. Both my child and my friend's child came back home talking about how mean she was. These camps are intended to be fun, she did not make it fun or treat the kids with respect. In the time when I was there, I also observed her lack of kindness. - Sign in and sign out process is a joke, they do not even check when you pick up your children. This is not safe, they should check when each child is picked up by an appropriate guardian especially if it's a camp setup like this. - Several children were new to cheer/tumlbing and needed help with the basics such as how to do a cartwheel, the "teachers" did not provide any help. They just told the kids to keep trying and to not interrupt them when they are working with other kids. How is a child supposed get help? The overall lack of actual teaching was really disappointing.
