I selected Streamline Landscaping based on their experience, price, and ability to do the work. I had previously met with several other landscaping contractors and had developed a complete list of what I needed to have done, which included renovating the entire back yard after having a large tree removed. Walt gave me a good price on pavers, so I decided to go with them and install pavers in both the back and front yards. This involved chopping and removing numerous large roots as well as a lot of dirt. It also required installing all new irrigation systems in the front and back yards. I am very happy with the results, and found Streamline's work crews to be very hard working, knowledgeable, skilled, and pleasant. Walt and his crew completed every item on my "to do" list in a timely and complete manner, and for a good price. I would (and have) recommend them to my friends and family who want pavers installed! First off, Walt was extremely kind and friendly. From the moment my wife spoke to him on the phone to when I actually met him. So after they scheduled a date and he came over, I explained everything I wanted to do. He took a few rough measurements of the yard and wasn't like other contractors. I didn't feel at all like he was money hungry or trying to price gouge me. Extremely knowledgeable and just an all around guy. I told him what I was wanting to pay for everything and I was asking for a tall order of things to be done. I'll be honest and say I had $15,000 to spend and only $15,000. And just so anyone reading this understands what I wanted done was the entire backyard and a good portion of the front. I'm talking a lot of landscaping. My wife and I had others come out and got quotes of around $17,000- $21,000 dollars. So I didn't know what to expect with Walt. Damn was I surprised when he said he would do it all for my $15,000. Honestly I was absolutely shocked, not to mention I also told him I wanted a built in bbq, but I thought it would be too much. Being as nice as he was he agreed to do that for me too. I couldn't believe that he was going to do all that and more for $15,000. Well I was a little worried at first, but he did as he said he would and we were amazed. They do not have anyone to answer phone. I left my phone number on Yelp when I asked them for a quote. They never called me back even though I requested they call me. They contacted me with a message through Yelp that only asked what city I was locate in. I responded and a few days later still no response. I sent another message and asked if they wanted me to look somewhere else. Walt, the owner responded and told me, "I'm sorry, I took a big job out of town." I don't know if this means go somewhere else or what. So, I found another construction company and signed a contract with them. I guess $30,000 wasn't enough for Streamline to look into contacting me over the phone like they should have. read more

My dad bought his house 4 years ago and the backyard has been hard clay dirt since he bought it. Knowing he couldnt afford to landscape it on his own and that his time was consumed with other remodeling projects, I wanted to surprise him by completely landscaping it Yard Crashers style while he was away at work. I checked Yelp for a good landscaper and came across Walt and all of his positive reviews. After talking to him, I scrapped my plans to get several quotes. I knew I'd found the right guy with the first call to Walt. He was enthusiastic about helping me to pull off my big surprise and he was quick to get out to the house and quote it for me. The price was a little less than I'd expected and I was assured there would be no short cuts taken on the work. Walter went out on a Friday with a large crew of guys to make sure the job got done in one day so when my dad left for work his yard was just dirt, and when he got home it was lush green grass. Wow! Where do I begin? Let me first start by saying that the whole landscaping journey was such a positive experience for me all the way around. Streamline Landscape was referred to me by another satisfied customer and I am so glad I chose to work with them. I asked to have my front yard landscaped to use less water and be low maintenance, similar to what my neighbor had (a few trees and plants surrounded by bark). He promised it would be even better than the neighbors. The job looked ok when it was all said and done, but then weeds starting growing everywhere (exactly what I didn't want). He said he could come out and make some adjustments and did, but still to this day, the front yard looks horrible with weeds growing everywhere. I called Streamline to get a quote and to have small 200 Sq ft. concrete area added to the side of my drive way. Received a text from the owner who said he could come at 9am on Sunday Morning and do the quote. Then i get a text the night before saying that he can't make it anymore and that it will be $8 per sq. ft. What began as a basic request to transition an old cement patio and DG to pavers turned into a complete front and backyard face lift that we are very happy with. BEAUTIFUL WORK, UNBEATABLE PRICING, & UNRIVALED CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We had been in our (new-construction) home for about a year when we became tired of looking at our useless, small dirt-patch of a backyard, so we began shopping around for landscapers to put in at least a patio. After speaking with about 10 local landscapers, a friend recommended Streamline Landscaping to us, so I placed a request for an estimate online on a Saturday evening, and Walt was over the next evening (on a SUNDAY!) to discuss our options. No more than 2-3 weeks later we had our amazing patio. Walt worked with us every step of the way and tweaked the design to our desires and budget all along the way. We were able to go with pavers because his quote was less than half of what other landscapers were quoting for concrete, which we could not believe! Several months later, I sent him a text to see if he would be able to come over at his convenience to talk about finishing off the yard, with irrigation, sod and plants. Early the next morning he was over to talk about options, and later that week we had a completed, beautiful backyard! The total price for the patio and the remaining work was still less than the original estimates from other places for just a concrete patio! Our backyard was just weed, gravel and a few trees. Saw the good reviews on Yelp and decided to contact Streamline. Sent an email to get an estimate and Walt came. We really liked his old school "my word is my bond" attitude. Walt and his team did a good job at a price we could afford. We have now a beautiful paved patio, grass and a "work out" area. We actually use our backyard! YAY! My only complain is that we had a couple of problems with the watering system and our grass is really not looking good...well it's half dead and started dying very quickly after they were done. The crew came to fix the watering system at no cost. But the grass isn't getting better, we did everything we were told but no luck. Hopefully we will find a solution to this. I was overwhelmingly convinced to give Streamline a shot by many people from Yelp, online, etc. I'm glad I took them up on it. Streamline came out and turned dirt into a fabulous backyard. I posted some pictures in the picture section. Streamline was professional, did everything you see in a timely manner, and I'd choose them again and again if I had to. I now know who to turn to if I need some landscaping done. They did an excellent job and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Give them a shot and see for yourself. I've had two negative experiences with Streamline... Experience number 1: I wanted a quote to pave a portion of my front yard to extend my driveway. A worker came out and gave me a quote of about $2300. I did some thinking and decided to do a much smaller portion instead, maybe save some money. Streamline came out again to take a look at the new area I wanted paved (about 1/3 the size of the first section) and I was quoted about $3500. I told the person who came out (who I wont name) about the quote I had for the larger section for much less money. He hoe'd and hummed and said that he would do the smaller section for $2300 then (same price as the much larger section). I got a bad taste in my mouth and decided not to go with them, besides I was trying to save money with doing a smaller section. I felt like they were sizing me up to see how much money they could get from me. Experience number 2: I needed some irrigation work done in my backyard. I placed a call to them and left a message, never got a return call. I was frustrated, but thought I'd try one last time. I called again about a week later and finally convinced them to come see what I wanted done. Someone from Streamline came out, looked around and said for a few hundred dollars they could do the work. We set a day about a week out to have the work done. The day came and went, no one showed up, no phone call. Never heard another word from them. I made a point to keep myself free that day and hung around the house waiting for nothing. How frustrating. Needless to say I wont be using Streamline for any of the future work I have planned for my yard. In my experience they seem very unreliable and like they "size me up" for how much money they could get from me. I would hate to have work done by them and then have a problem with it that they need to come out and correct! Who knows if I'd ever hear from them. Pretty unreliable and unfair pricing structure in my opinion. I wont be recommending them to any friends or family in the area. Please Note: I never had any work actually performed by them so I can't attest to the quality of their work. I can only attest to how they treat potential customers and their level of follow through with agreements they made with me. *** Response to the Comment Below ***: It was absolutely Streamline both times on the concrete. After pointing out that his own company quoted me less for a bigger section of concrete, he requested to see the quote. I showed him his workers calculations that he wrote out and only after that did my second quote from Streamline change. So it was absolutely Streamline both times on the concrete. Two quotes, same company, and two vastly different numbers. Also, the sprinkler guy sure sounded to me to be an employee of Streamline, he was referred to as "my irrigation guy", and said "my guy will be in your area on [this day]..." during our conversations. He even set a day for him to come out and perform the work. It would be surprising to me if he knew where another companies' worker would be on a certain day and make an appointment for an unrelated company to do my work. Either it's an employee of theirs or it's not. It shouldn't change based on my satisfaction level. read more

I called last Saturday morning and the owner, I think, was out of town but his voicemail message referred me to another number which I called. I received an immediate response from Jim. I was a bit stressed out as I had a 2 inch PVC pipe that broke in the ground and had to shut off all water. He said he was working on a fence but would drive by in a couple hours and take a look. I got a call right on schedule and they were on their way. Jim and Eddie showed up took a look and stated they would have to run to Lowes for the part and they had to go out anyway to get more supplies for the fence job. They said after the fence job Eddie would return to fix my pipe. They stayed in touch with me and kept me updated. Eddie returned as promised and fix the pipe within 35 minutes time. The price they charged me was very reasonable. Eddie even drove by the house on Sunday as he knew the owner was away to make sure the fix had taken and called me to let me know all was well. They are so reliable and ethical I would recommend them to anyone. Great service all the way around and then some!!! read more

I was really hoping to wite a 5 star review and had high hopes based on other yelp reviews. The work Walt did was good, but we had a few hiccups along the way. For the original bid Walt gave us a great price. He had to pencil us in between other clients, so maybe that is why we had issues. We had asked for a different style of rock well before the job was done. Walt said he could not get that rock through his supplier. I was forced to get the rock delivered myself and spend two days shoveling rock. Dirt from part of my yard was removed and used to fill in a valley in the front grass. They started the job moving dirt around right before we went on vacation! When we came back from our vacation, they had already halfway laid the pavers and the backyard started to take shape! We were amazed how quickly his crew put the pavers in! His crew is very skilled especially in the masonry dept! They can saw, cut and shape these pavers and bricks with such craftsmanship!
