Owen and his team were absolutely INCREDIBLE. I truly can't put into words how fantastic of a job they did. From their demeanor and professionalism to the actual execution of the work, it all exceeded our expectations. Keystone Yards were recommended to us by the Yardzen group as a build team for our yard renovation. Owen Lynn modified their design to meet our needs and within our budget to create a welcoming yard. The estimate was thorough, with physical descriptions of the materials, activities, and costs. Owen was able to give suggestions on the material that was available and would work well for the project. We had some lawn removed, a concrete pad poured, pergola and raised garden beds built, and decomposed granite, pebbles, and bark added around the new plants the ornamental horticulturist recommended. Keystone Yards just finished completely remodeling our backyard and the project looks amazing! We had a huge paver patio put in, a deck with a recessed hot tub installed, lots of planting, irrigation, lights, painting, staining and other things done and it all came out great. The guys they had working on the project were super easy to work with and communicate with and we're very happy with the end result and the process along the way. We highly recommend you give these guys a call if you have an outdoor living space you want done right. Oh, and the owner - Owen, came by our project on a regular basis which isn't common for a lot of landscaping companies. Along the way we made several changes and he was always able to accommodate the changes and keep things moving forward. From start (onsite meeting & estimate) to finish (finished front yard), our experiences were nothing but positive. Keystone's estimate was fair and inline with other quotes we got and despite having blueprints for the yard, one can always expect that at least 10% of it will need minor to major adjustments. I get why Keystone has all five star reviews. They earn them and we feel lucky we were able to find them. We used Keystone Yards for our front yard which was previously described as "visually assaulting". We had a lot going on and a large space bisected by a driveway and including some intense slope. We had a lot of rocks of various sizes and shapes that needed to be re-deployed into something that was more harmonious and attractive. Owen is really easy to work with, organized, communicates and is just easy going and pleasant. What stood out to me was how well they listened, and then how they made my goals theirs and came up with things I never would have thought of and some that I had hoped for but had thought would not work. In our plantings they balanced, size, texture, space etc really well and i just love walking through it with a cup of coffee and enjoying all the nuances but the overal clean modern and yet organic look they achieved. When unexpected challenges arose, they handled them efficiently, with Roger leading the way with his impressive expertise and problem-solving. The crew was organized, considerate of our space, and made sure to clean up thoroughly after the job. They even powerwashed the dust off the house and the street in front. I am so glad I followed the Yelp reviews that led me to Owen and Keystone Yards. Because of the rains, our job was delayed but Owen communicated frequently about the start date. Once Roger, Gabriel and Victor showed up, the hard work began, and they put in 10 hour days to excavate the yard, lay down sand and gravel, and carry heavy flagstones from the street to the backyard. They were a very friendly crew, and Roger and Owen were open to my communication about slight changes, additions, etc. Owen even went the extra mile to find the exact gravel that I had chosen that was not readily available from his usual sources. My driveway was in great need of replacement. It was cracked and the concrete had lifted previously from roots from a tree that has since been removed.
