Excited to write this review for authentic Italian food at great prices! Saw a FB post from local food critic Mikeiseating raving about the Arancini here so I had to try. They were delicious! Some places are skimpy with the meat but these are stuffed. They were HUGE and only $7 each. Also ordered the pear ricotta cake imported from Italy and cannolis which were delicious! Mini cannoli are only $3.50!! The place is very clean, service was excellent by 3 wonderful and friendly employees Rich, Antonio and Andrea. Drove from Hollywood and will be back for sure! What a find!! We had a lovely lunch at the new StrEATart Cafe. We were greeted warmly upon entering. There's a lovely deli with items to go and coffee/drinks. We ordered sandwiches and they were brought to us outside. There is a nice covered seating area with several tables. Parking was ample in the lot as well. My husband loved his Italian sub with fresh mozzarella cheese. I thoroughly enjoyed my tuna salad in focaccia. The bread was fresh and seasoned well. There was lots of tuna salad. Went here when it first opened and left disappointed especially with a Sicilian slice. I figured I'd try it again and am glad I did as everything was excellent. The staff is really nice and prices are very reasonable but I'm not understanding the name choice as it doesn't correspond to what they are serving and really does not denote anything. I think. We had a few heroes and they were excellent. In theory it seems like getting a Chicken Parm and Meatball Hero would be kind of easy but it's not. Often the chicken is a processed product and the meatballs are questionable but here everything was very good and this felt in some ways like being in one of the remaining Italian delis in outer borough NYC. Both sandwiches would have benefitted from more sauce and the chicken was a little over breaded but not a big deal. Looking forward to going back. read more

The best spot you didn't know existed in Deerfield. It's across the street from IHOP. Don't be fooled by the inside. It may be small but it packs quite a hit with authentic Italian items and selection. There's pizza, wings, sandwiches, pasta, specials and a ton of desserts. I actually had a hard time figuring out what I wanted so I ordered a lot of items. I ended up getting a chicken parm sub, sicilian pizza and a few pasties. The chicken in the sub was abundant, cooked well and juicy and had a great breading to it. The pizza was great and had deep flavor with a rich sauce. You simply can't go wrong here. You could eat here every day for a week and still have plenty of new items to try. There is covered seating outside and of course you can get your food to go. What a treat after a morning jog!! As soon as we walked in, we felt the vibrant energy! the personalities behind the counter bring the whole place to life. The pastries aren't just delicious, they're Art!. Watching the Italian chef prepare them is absolutely mesmerizing. You can truly taste his passion in every bite. The place is spotless, offers a great variety of products, and the vibe is something you just have to experience. What a great find from Yelp! I was craving a big healthy salad and REAL pizza and StrEAT Cafe delivered. Super casual, they do a lot of To Go but have a nice outdoor patio or limited indoor seating to eat in. Extensive menu and authentic Italian. We had the ENORMOUS greek salad and a prosciutto pizza - super value AND super tasty. The owners were so sweet - they gave us complimentary homemade cannoli to go with our coffees after lunch. The food is absolutely phenomenal - you can tell everything is hand made, ingredients are farm-fresh, and there is something for everyone!! The posted menu is just the start of what they offer! They have daily specials and so many other off-menu choices, too!! Tried the Italian sausage, peppers & onions. Tasted just like your Nonna's, including the portion size!! The peppers and onions tasted like they were right off the vine and roasted perfectly. The sausage was flavorful and sweet. But let's talk about the "red sauce" on the side. It's obvious it's a family recipe made with love and fresh tomatoes...to die for!!! They gave us some pieces of focaccia (since we didn't have it as a sandwich) and holy crap...just divine!! Sprinkled lightly with olive oil & fresh Parmesan, it was the perfect consistency and texture! Also snacked on the spicy salami Stromboli, which was utterly delicious!! You can eat inside at a high-top counter lining one side of the place or sit outside on the fantastic patio. Or take your food to go...easy to pick up stuff on your way to the beach or boat!! They serve breakfast 8a-11a and I can't wait to try it...as the croissants & pastries in the case looked amazing!! You order at a counter and can peruse the menu & display cases while you decide.
