    Chicken Patio Bar Wings
    Robert S.

This is a beautiful oceanfront restaurant in Deerfield Beach. We got a table outside with great views of the beach and the ocean. The servers were not very prompt (actually they were kind of slow) but we eventually got to place our order of fish and chips as well as chicken wings. The food was delicious and the ambiance was excellent. They have a large variety of cocktails and drinks on their menu, so that is very tempting. The food menu is also very extensive.

Patio Bar and Grill is attached to the Wyndham Deerfield Beach Hotel. You can enter either from the street or within the hotel. Hostess section is on the street side. Amazing views of the beach and ocean! Outdoor seating, a full bar, and inside seating. Comfortable inside with warm colors. Bathrooms are the bathrooms of the hotel lobby. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We only came for breakfast. Breakfast menu has a lot of standard menu items. Prices aren't terrible but they are high, good bang for your buck. My dad and I went with oatmeal and you can add a side of fruit for a price. My husband got an omelette. Good portion size and oatmeal was hot and creamy. Also went with a side of bacon and was impressed with the amount of bacon it came with. Bacon was crispy and delicious. My husband enjoyed his omelette along with the potatoes and toast on the side. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Kept up on topping off our coffees. But she accidentally entered four oatmeal's for our bill and we only had two. Staff were turning over from breakfast to lunch so getting her attention to fix the bill took a while. Not a bad spot for breakfast. Food is excellent compared to a cafe down the street and on the beach.

Great view if ya ask me ;)

Didn't know they had breakfast this good! Came on a whim on a beautiful Sunday morning and got lucky with a table for 4. I started with the Bloody Mary that came with shrimp! It was so good. Then I got the huevos rancheros with scrambled eggs and it was phenomenal. Nice big portion! The crunchy tortilla and chorizo were my favorite part. The whole dish was such a great combo of flavor. And crispy breakfast potatoes on the side! I was so impressed I had no idea the breakfast was going to be this delicious. We also had great service! I don't remember her name but she was a nice young lady and took very good care of us. And the view once again you can't beat it! Can't wait to bring my other friends here for breakfast :)

Confusion between the waitresses and the kitchen staff.

Like many other restaurants in south Florida that cater mostly to tourists...the Patio Bar and Grill is one of those places that is always "hit or miss". We live nearby and have resident beach parking, so it's easy for us to just walk over for lunch. The food really is decent. Their chowders are tasty and very filling. They have some decent appetizers and even their salads are huge and fresh. The problem is the service. Some days it seems like the wait staff and the kitchen just cannot get on the same page. Part of the problem may be that a lot of the servers some days appear to have come out of retirement and (while they are very sweet people) they just cannot keep up with the pace. Other days there's a younger group on staff and everything goes perfectly. The view is great. The food is good. It's just some days the service will leave you feeling like you made a mistake coming here. Figure two people will spend a minimum of $50 for lunch.

Staying at the Wyndham Hotel and decided to eat breakfast here after a morning walk. Got the "Not so American" with some coffee and it hit the spot. So delicious!

I was hanging out at the beach and wanted to grab a quick snack, so I stopped by to place a to-go order. To go orders can only be placed at the bar. Service was fast and I was not required to put my cover up on, which was nice. The calamari was very crispy and only had flavor because of the sauces served on the side. Overall, it impressed but $16.95 for claim is a fair price, just wish there was a larger portion and that it tasted better. Nice beach views, though!

I'm glad we came back. It's definitely much better than we remembered. The service was awesome. The food was delicious. The waitress was on top of things. We loved the fact you now have live music with lunch outdoors facing the ocean & frozen cocktails. Awesome job Katrina Iglesias who was a former contestant from the Voice TV Show who was playing during lunch. She was awesome & added that extra something to the Patio Bar & Grill.

We planned a brunch to meet up with our friend visiting from afar. I got there in good time but it was very hard to find any parking for the place and I researched in advance to see what parking was available for this restaurant. I had read it had valet parking but I could not find or see any option for this when I arrived. I finally found a parking lot near that required you to pay. Brought the ticket and they give you a sticker for a discount at the hostess desk. The waitress was too impatient when it was clear we were a group of friends catching up. Some of us arrived at stagnant times and needed some time to review the menu. The space and view on the patio to eat was so nice and the weather was really beautiful. I got the virgin strawberry daiquiri which was good. We needed to ensure our table only had non-alcoholic drinks due to our friend's religion. I decided on the shrimp and grits which was a wonderful twist with the seasoning and the egg. It came with a poached egg and I was glad to have the option to make it a fried egg. This was a great portion and very delicious.

What a disappointment :( patio used to be the spot just a few years ago. Now it's just a hotel restaurant with really terrible service or lack of there of. We wanted to grab something to eat after walking a few miles on the beach. To be honest I was really skeptical with eating here, but I said it's Monday the weather is perfect, the ocean looks amazing what can go wrong, right? Mannn I was wrong. The waitress and hostess acted like we were disturbing their scrolling time; both sat at a table on their phones prior to seating us. When we got seated I decided to keep it safe and order something simple, I really wished I kept walking and ate at some place where the employees cared. I ordered a burger and fries, burger Patty was one third of the bread size, on top of it, it was super chewy so after a few bites I gave up and left it, I asked for a side of honey mustard -she brought yellow mustard and said that's the only mustard she had, when I told her I was all set - she grabbed my plate without asking what was wrong the food and brought us the check. No thank you and good bye nothing just leave ... Overall a terrible experience and I know a lot has changed since the pandemic. I get it, but I really wish businesses would spend the extra money in tranining and development since there are so many new people working different jobs.

What ever they did to correct this place was successful.

I really wish they could get their kitchen more consistent. Cold bagel and overcooked eggs today. Last visit the eggs were extremely overcooked. The service has been better. Maybe nobody cares since the tourists come and go?

    How is the parking?

There's a garage for public parking, street parking on the beach, a couple of lots and I think the hotel has parking for guests. Not sure about the hotel but you have to pay for the rest. We usually park at The Cove and walk over the bridge.

I use to eat breakfast here. Are the hours accurate now, and they no longer serve breakfast? On google the hours are 7am, on Yelp it opens at 11am. Thank you in advance for a response

Breakfast is served 7AM-11AM. After breakfast, we serve Brunch and lunch/dinner at 11:00am. The kitchen closes at 10pm but bar is open until 11pm.

The interior has the beautiful ambiance of a high-end cigar lounge paired with an incredible bar. They have an enormous selection of great bourbons, whiskeys, and some truly phenomenal tequilas. There is also a great lounging area in the back with plenty of TVs--they had the March Madness games on while we were there, but I could easily see this being the go-to spot for Sunday football or just a place to relax any day of the week. We chose to sit outside, where the vibe felt like a perfect local hangout. We met some great people who mentioned they are regulars, which says a lot about the atmosphere. While we originally only planned to stop by for a drink or two before heading to dinner, we ended up staying much longer because we were having so much fun. A huge plus is their Happy Hour, which runs until 7 PM every day--at that point, why would we go anywhere else? I can't recall the bartenders' names, but they were all super friendly and accommodating. A few friends tried the specialty cocktails and said they were fantastic. We tried their feature shot per the bartenders recommendation, the "Hello Good Night." It was hands down the best shot I've ever had--I would honestly return just for that! They also had an extensive beer selection. I highly recommend this bar to anyone living in the area or just visiting. We will definitely be back!

The ambiance is very upscale, welcoming, and sets the tone for a memorable visit. Joey the bartender was very professional, kind, extremely welcoming and very apologetic for the Happy Hour lounge being closed the day I visited which was bit disappointing. As we were leaving, we met Tommy the manager, who was just as nice & gave us a tour of the dinner area which I would love to try one day. He briefly chatted with us and gave us his business card. From the moment we walked in and were handed a glass of prosecco, it was clear this would be something different. There was an intentionality to everything--the pacing, the ambiance, the way each course was introduced. It didn't feel transactional. It felt ceremonial. Each of the six courses represented a different European destination (Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Greece), and what made it extraordinary wasn't just the quality of the food--which was exceptional--but the way the environment transformed alongside it. Lighting, visuals, sound, and narration worked together in a way that made every dish feel contextual and meaningful, rather than simply plated. Every part of this immersive experience contained instruments working in harmony to amplify the meaning of each course. The courses were beautifully composed and balanced. Nothing felt excessive or forced. Each plate served a purpose in the broader narrative, and each wine or cocktail pairing elevated the dish rather than competing with it. What stood out most, though, was how present it made you feel. In a world where most dinners blur together, this one didn't. Time slowed down. You became immersed. Fully engaged. The service was impeccable--attentive, warm, and deeply knowledgeable without ever feeling rehearsed or overbearing. You felt guided, not served. Tommy (the owner/proprietor) and his staff were unquestionably five-stars. By the end, you remembered how it felt to be transported somewhere else without ever boarding a plane. It's worth every moment.
