I've heard about this taco place in Zeeland and haven't had the chance until today to check it out! It's very close to where I work so I figured why not:) One thing I like about this place initially after walking in is that they have menus posted everywhere. I felt like the inside of the restaurant is open, clean, and modern. There wasn't much of a crowd early in the afternoon which was perfect for me to take my time to order and get some pointers from the lady running the register. She was sweet, helpful, and very patient with my indecisiveness. The menu is posted everywhere like I mentioned before but I also like that it's categorized by protein. Makes it easier for me to narrow down my options. The lady working made a lot of recommendations and helped me out by having me do a combo meal which saves a little more than for me to order tacos individually. The 3 taco combo also includes a drink for $14 total. I ordered three tacos: 1) the Breakfast taco which has scrambled eggs, bacon, tots, cheese, pico de gallo, and spicy maple aioli on a corn tortilla! 2) Down By The Bay which has old bay seasoned shrimp, bacon fried corn, shoestring potatoes with dill salt, and zesty garlic chili sour cream on a corn tortilla! 3) Northern Lights which has Cajun blackened salmon, dill caper tartar sauce, cucumber, arugula, and red onion tossed in apple cider vinaigrette on a flour tortilla. It needs to be noted that these are street tacos so they're very small compared to a normal sized one.. but these did not lack in any of the ingredients whatsoever. Each taco was jam packed with food and it was almost difficult for me to take a bite without pieces dropping out. I ate everything I dropped off my plate because I felt like it was all so incredibly delicious and flavorful. I also need to note these are not authentic tacos and seem to be more creative and that makes it kinda fun to be honest. They have some sides you can order from and between the corn and tots the lady up front recommended their tots. Totally loved them! But then again you can't go wrong with potatoes:) Another noteworthy element is the fact that all plastic and paper products you received from them is compostable! They have signs on the tables explaining this. I find that admirable. Overall, this was a good taco experience! I would like to come back and maybe try a couple different tacos and they also have some dessert which I didn't have the room for today.

Amazing place! They have a cute little building in downtown Zeland that is across from a park. The interior was very clean and had a modern look to it. They have some great combo deals. I tried their not your mamas pot roast, amalfi coast, smoky mountain bbq and they were all so delicious! My favorite ended up being the not your mamas pot roast but the rest were very close. Try their chips with the avocado dip!

Love Streats. The staff is always great. I feel they focus on flavor and quality and they don't disappoint. It's bright and fun inside and the outdoor seating when available is lovely. So thankful for this place!

So delicious! This is definitely a must-try in Zeeland. The tacos are on the smaller side but PACKED with delicious fillings and combinations. I ate two (Northern Lights and American Cheeseburger) and brought the breakfast taco home for--well, breakfast--the next day. I would order all of these again! Tots are also not to be missed. We had the signature sauce and garlic chili sauces for dipping; both were creamy, flavorful compliments to the crispy tots. I am already planning my next visit! Add in friendly workers and outside seating, and you have a recipe for a perfect summer night feeling the Zeel (lol). Other pluses: The restroom was impressively clean. And when I left, someone was coming in to clean it! Streats is part of the Social District, so grab your beer and walk off those tacos downtown.

What a great spot for lunch in Zeeland! Plentiful parking with the free public lot right behind it. Got here at around 11:50 on a Thursday for lunch and it was fairly busy but there was a table or 2 open! You order at the counter and they give you a number that you take back to your seat where they deliver your food. LOTS of tacos to choose from with different proteins. They have 2 combo options for $12 each, 1 with 2 tacos, chips and dip, and a drink and the other with 3 tacos and a drink. I went for the 2 tacos and got an avocado cream as a dipping sauce. The tacos I got were the Mexico City Pork and the Northern Lights (Blackened salmon with lots of toppings). Both were tasty! The Mexico City Pork was noted as spicy on the menu and it definitely was spicy and made me a little warm but in a good away. The avocado cream with the chips was decent but I'd probably try the pico next time or get their tots which looked pretty crispy and yummy! I definitely recommend coming here for a quick lunch or to hang around and chat. The decor was bright and fun and it felt like a modern street food restaurant. Definitely something fun and different that Zeeland needed!

Wait: (5 of 5) No Wait; Walked right up to the counter and ordered. Cleanliness: (5 of 5) Outside was clean; Inside was clean; Tables were clean. Atmosphere: (5 of 5) It was nice and bright inside the restaurant. Smaller, fast food type, setting. They had a few high top tables, a few regular tables and barstool seating along the front windows. Average noise. Service: (4 of 5) The counter service/register employee was nice and polite but very quiet. We had told her we were never there before but she did not offer any ideas or guidance on ordering. Basically just took our order. However, The person who brought our food out let us know what we ordered (basically verifying what we ordered) when delivering our food to our table. She later came back and asked us how the "Tacos where tasting" too (nice check-in). Food: (5 of 5) I ordered a Montego Bay Taco and a Mexico City Pork Taco. The Montego Bay Taco was very good. Made with Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna, Mango Salsa, Cilantro, Green Onions, Soy Sauce, Wonton Strips in a Flour Tortilla. The Mexican Pork Taco was spicy and had really good flavor. Made with Smoked Chipotle Pulled Pork, Grilled Pineapple, Grilled Onions, Salsa Verde, Cilantro, in a Corn Tortilla. I made it a combo so it came with Chips and Pico as well. The chips where nice, light and flavorful and the Pico was awesome. And washed it down with a Diet Coke from the Soda Fountain machine. Price: (4 of 5) The combo was $12.00. For pricing these days it was probably priced right but I thought it was a tad bit high for two tacos, chips and a fountain drink. But the food was fresh and flavorful. Overall: (4 of 5) Overall I was pretty impressed with the food given it's Mexican food in Zeeland Michigan. The prices where a little high and the counter service could have been a little more helpful. However, I saved "StrEat's Taco Kitchen" in my Yelp bookmarks as I'd go back agina if passing through and I had a taste for taco's.

Pick 2 tacos, chips and a soda for $14

The food was good and the service was great. I thought it was expensive for what you receive. If I'm looking for a place for a lunch meeting or a date; you want something a little nicer than StrEAT Tacos is a good spot to meet. If you are hungry and don't want a $14 bill for 2 tacos, chips and a soda I would pick another place. I will probably go back but for occasions.

It smells delightful and the tacos were fairly flavorful, however, they were VERY small portions & way over priced.

We kicked things off with an order of the corn queso and chips and I picked three tacos for my meal. There's a lot of seafood options here and 2 out of my 3 choices fell in that category--coconut shrimp, fish and chips, and fajita steak. Of the three my favorite was actually the steak (though I'd call it more of a short rib maybe?) though all three were great. The coconut shrimp had a bit more of a kick to it than I was expecting but it was still excellent. I also LOVED the corn queso and definitely ate more than my fair share. They've got a few beer options, cocktails, beer, and a couple of NA options outside of soda including a delicious lavender lemonade and a watermelon lime slushie. I'm not the biggest fan of watermelon but it sounded refreshing so I went with that as my beverage and it was really, really, good. If you're ready to party you can add a shot of liquor to it to give it a little more sauce. Ordering is fairly straightforward. Order all your food and drinks at the counter, wait for your drinks, then grab a seat and wait for your food which they'll bring out to you. FYI the indoor seating is currently not air-conditioned so keep that in mind when you grab a seat if it's hot out. And DEFINITELY keep it in mind when the tip screen comes up at the register. They have a note saying tips are optional as they pay the staff accordingly but it was in the 90s when we were here and I can't imagine how hard it was working through that. So we definitely left a few bucks as a thank you.

We visited this place while staying in Grand Haven for a bowling tournament. We wanted Mexican and chose Arturo's because they had a parking lot (the other place we found only had street parking.) Lot was small, but easy to enter and leave. Arturo's is quaint with not a lot of seating. Decorated well without being too showy. Very, VERY clean. We chose to carry out because we thought that with the small amount of seating, it would be cramped. However, they were so fast in delivering food to customers, we realized that we would have done well eating in. Now ... the food! Freaking amazing. Pimp and I had the pick 3 dinner specials. For $13 you get rice and beans and 3 main items (i.e. tacos, tamales, etc) I chose a taco, tamale, and quesadilla. Pimp had all tacos. The beans and rice were seasoned to perfection. After filling up on my beans, I barely had room for the rest. I used my fingers to scrape the last bit of the beans out of the container. LOL (I could have just settled with the beans and rice.) But I braved it and dug into my chicken taco. We both agreed that the chicken was very well seasoned, moist, but not soggy. It was a good amount of it on the tacos without being too much. We were so full after the beans, rice, and tacos, we had to take a break for a siesta. I still got a tamale, and quesadilla left and Pimp had two tacos. But if we finished, this review would not get written. Buen trabajo, Arturo's. Lo has hecho muy bien. We'll be back after bowling tomorrow to get some of those beans to take home.
