My opinion of Dr. STRECKER HAS changed. He refunded my money and now I give him a 5 star rating.

Nobody likes hidden costs, have fun with appeals of your carrier to get things paid for that you weren't informed of.

No way could I drive. Back at the office, I was met with indifference and mild surprise, and someone offhandedly offered me dark glasses (which didn't help). I drove myself home blurry eyed and in pain, one hand shielding my eyes from the light and the other clenched to the steering wheel. Three hours later, still suffering blurriness and pain, I called the practice but was told to call the Plymouth office where a technician there could help me. But there was no answer and I ended up leaving a voicemail. 2 1/2 weeks later with still no call back, I contacted them again about my eye pain since the exam and again was received with no empathy or apology. Instead I got strange comments like, "You're 67" whatever that has to do with anything. That "Many people have no problem after the exam." And "Oh, you have blue eyes, they're more sensitive." Really? Thanks for the heads up. Am I mistaken to believe that professionals should know these things ahead and warn patients? I have never experienced this kind of negligence from so-called medical professionals. Needless to say, I'm going elsewhere for my cataract surgery. And now I'm seeing of all their horrible reviews!
