Although the tacos may seem greasy. Thats what gives it character. To me, they are a 4/5 and go at least 3 times a week. I recommend the quesadillas and tamale plate. Warning, the peppers are a hit or miss. Sometimes are super spicy! read more

Wow. We were on a road trip and needed a drive through. The yelp reviews looked promising so we got in line. The line took a little time, but it was worth it! My husband stepped out to pick up coffee next door, while I kept the vehicle moving ahead. We wrote down our order because there are six of us. That turned out well for us, because in the lunch rush, they made a mistake and gave us tacos instead of burritos for a few of our orders. We discovered it in the parking lot, so I went back and they were quick to correct the problem! They let me keep the oops tacos, and even gave me a couple chocolate balls (some kind of dessert they sell) while I waited. They were so gracious! And then the food was so yummy too. I was so glad we stopped! I look forward to our next road trip to Texas and a stop at Street Taco Shack in Canton, TX!! read more

Their food is great and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them. We've used the drive thru as well as sat at the picnic tables.

UPDATE: Headed up to the shack for breakfast and remembered that their breakfast hours were 9:30-10:30am. Got there right at 9:30a and NO ONE WAS THERE! Waited and finally the family shows up and and asks "Are you waiting on someone?" .......YES! You to open! Did I miss something?? Since when do you post hours of operation and alter them without notice. Another customer drives up and asks if they are selling breakfast to which the lady answered "We aren't ready yet, check back in 45 min". Wow! Needless to say, I recant my previous day's experience. FIRST DAY: Walked up here one day from staying at the resort next door and was really hungry. The lady at the window BARELY understood English but was sweet. I ordered 4 tacos-all chicken ...on corn tortillas. And chips and queso. I received my ordered and had ONE chicken taco and the rest were beef. Wow. You had ONE job to do lady. Needless to say, my one chicken taco was great and the queso was yummy as well. I gave my beef tacos to my bf who swapped me for their chicken tacos. The last two Times I have been to this place they did not not even open up when the hours say they do they weren't ready to take my order until an hour after they were supposed to open. Then they always close 10 mins early I went there twice once at 845pm and once at 850pm and they told me they couldn't take my order they were closed. We called first to make sure they were open for lunch @ 11:30, based on other reviews. They were! I'm glad we stopped! It was wayyy better than a chain restaurant meal! Simple but flavorful authentic Mexican tacos. We ordered a variety of beef and pork tacos on flour & corn tortillas. The steamed pork had a nice red sauce, which made it easier to eat. The pulled beef was a little dry w/o a sauce. Both tacos were topped with cilantro and fresh onion, and fresh lime wedges and a pickled hot pepper on the side. (It really was hot!) It was good meal deal for $1.25/ taco. Also ordered the nachos. I personally did not like the onions topping the cheese on the nachos. The minus 1 star was for the infestation of flies and bees as soon as we opened our plates at the picnic table. It was also pretty bare and dusty. Plants would make it so much more appealing and maybe distract the insects. We have 4 kids, ages 5-16. They all enjoyed the meal and picnic tables. read more
