After my experience today, I've learned that this place has come under new management, which is disappointing that the opportunity to improve this restaurant was lost on me. I started by calling ahead because I've often had to wait a long time when I order at the drive thru. I was told it would take 20 minutes. I arrived 5 minutes early and had to wait a while before someone greeted me at the window. I arrived early so I could discuss why the total I was quoted seemed higher than what I saw on the menu posted on Google. I ordered 6 fajita beef tacos at $3.50 each. When I got to the restaurant, I was told that the tacos were $6.00 each. The woman at the window stated that it's an old menu and suggested I read the disclaimer about menu availability. She told me that all current information is on their Facebook page. I suggested to her that you may want to get with Google and have it updated. She responded by telling me that they have nothing to do with what they have on Google and again suggested I read the disclaimer about the menu availability. Way to put that on your customer who is now paying $10 more because they read the "wrong menu". So I gave her my card to pay for the food. It had already been 20 to 25 minutes since I ordered ahead. She gave me back my card and receipt and closed the window. I figured she'd be back with my order. I didn't see anyone for 15 more minutes. I was livid. A car drove up behind me and I thought hopefully, that will get someone to the window so I can ask what was taking so long. When she finally opened the window, I said, "I called ahead for a reason, you quoted me 20 minutes and it has been 40 minutes. What took so long?" All she said was "Sorry about that. Have a nice day." Then she shut the window on me. I saw red but I took a deep breath and drove off telling myself both Google and Facebook are getting this review. I will say this one good thing about my experience. When I got home and sat down to eat, the tacos were the ! Way better than the dry tacos I've had from previous visits. So, if anything will save this place, it's the cook. Whoever you are, I thank you. I hope you are well compensated . However, I'm sorry to say. I will never go back due to how I and my concerning questions about the menu were treated at the window. Do better about who you have read more

They have the best Tamales. Better order early or you'll be out if luck. The resturant has just as good as food also.

What a feast we enjoyed Sunday morning thanks to Luna Tamales. The tamales had just the perfect meat to masa ratio!!! We also tried the menudo and it too was spiced up just right! Very friendly service! Can't wait to be back in East Texas to feast on some delicious authentic Mexican cuisine! We'll be taking some back to share with the rest our fam! I'm disappointed. We got a couple dozen tamales today, pork and beef. The taste is alright, but they are all flat, nearly no filling. In fact, we had a husk that didn't have enough filling to stay together to even pretend to be a tamale. We probably won't be going back. read more

The absolute best tamales in the Wills Point area! You can order and get homemade or walk in and get fresh frozen. They have beef or pork. They also have really good homemade salsa. Red or green. You can't go wrong with anything they sell. Very friendly people!! read more

Been going to Luna's since they opened up the smaller store on HWY 80. I'm so glad they are open most days now, my family (Husband and 9 y/o daughter) get's so excited when I suprise them with Luna's! We have always loved this place for Sunday morning breakfast especially. A bit disappointed this morning though! My husband has ordered the menudo several times before but was very disappointed when he ordered it this morning! They brought it to the table with hardly any meat mainly juice! We picked up some tamales to go last week and they were excellent! We decided to dine in this last time and tried the tacos and menudo. The tortillas are homemade and the tacos are huge. let me just say the food here is amazing! This is our second trip here. We drove 1 1/2 hours to pick up 4 dozen tamales for Christmas. While we were there we had lunch too, and spent a total of $80+. We noticed they were short a tamale that we ordered for lunch so we drove back around the building. After a minute of the employees trying to figure it out I assume it was a manager came to the window looking put out. I explained we didn't get a tamale again and she started arguing with me about it and said she personally bagged it up (with quite an attitude like she's never made a mistake)... well it turned out she was wrong and she bagged it all up incorrectly. We are here for lunch on a Friday. The food was mediocre at best. The staff was very nice but the meal was expensive for what we got. The eating area is not relaxing-- sit at benches and counters. Hands down...the best refried beans ever! And the beans with sausage...so yum! They make my mouth water just thinking about them. I also love their beef fajita tacos, fajita bowls, and tamales. Salsa is spicy so I only add a tad to my tacos but I love that they give you cilantro, onion, and lime upon request - makes it even better. Wish they would serve chips and queso though...oh well, maybe one day. And that they stayed open longer but I'm not complaining cause everything is so good and I think they are priced so well.
