If I could offer them zero stars I would. I provided them a phone an iPhone 14 Pro Max that had a cracked back and one camera lens which they repaired for $170. We then gave the phone to my son for Christmas and when he opened the box, the phone no longer worked when we went back. It was after their luxurious 15 day warranty. And they wouldn't help us at all. They wouldn't even look for the repair ticket in their computer system unless we had the specific date of the transaction which sounds like the most outdated computer system on the planet. You should have seen the look on my 12-year-old son's face when he realized that he wasn't ever going to be getting that phone for Christmas. So now I am out $170 and I have to figure out how to get him another phone. What a waste. And I love the fact that I was told that they can't help because the warranty is 15 days. The warranty being 15 days is a piece of paper with words on it. Anyone is allowed to be helpful if they so choose. read more

If I could select zero stars, I would. These kiosks are run by people who have no idea what customer service is. I will go as far as saying their manner of doing business and making a sale is quite shady. Never do they mention anything about their sales being final and Ofcourse they are working with you on any of the 3 sides that do NOT have the sign that reads "all sales final." That sign is on one small side of the kiosk. I had just purchased a phone case for my daughter that I reluctantly paid $35 for. within 5 minutes of leaving the kiosk we come across the same phone case at a different kiosk down the same hallway, for $10 less. I though that was crazy. I thought perhaps with the competition down the hall they would at the very least credit me the difference. If not I would return and buy it from where it was less expensive. The Turkish man working there was nothing short of rude and just pointed to the sign that read "all sales final" and wouldn't help in any regard. I literally just bought it. I am in retail business myself and while I understand they have that sign there- there should be some room and understanding on their part. I wasn't bringing it back a week later. It wasn't even on my daughter's phone yet. Still in the bag, not used. Absolutely the WORST customer service. I would advise to buy elsewhere. I was very anxious in buying a cell phone case for my new iphone 5. I thought every place in the mall would have a return policy. I saw a cart that sold iphone cases. I purchased a cell phone case for $35. But then I changed my mind. I wanted another case which cost 25 but the sales person said they don't accept refunds or exchanges. What kind of business does not accept returrns or exchanges?! or at least you should be allowed to return or exchange in 7 days! the salesperson gave me a screen protector to make up for the exchange which I never wanted and its very hard to clean, so I am not using it now. Do not buy from this place, unless you are sure you want it and do not want to return it. You will NEVER get your money back. I think they are overpriced and taking advantage that they have new cellphone cases for iphone5. When you go to these places to repair ipads or phones, you go at your own risk. I ended up here because there were cracks in my iPad screen. I paid a deposit, and left my device. A few minutes later, I got a call saying that they could fix my screen within the hour. I thought, "great". A few minutes later, I was called and told that the device would not be ready until the following Monday ( it was Thursday when I dropped it off). On Tuesday, I was told to come pick up my device- I was told to come before 6 pm. I arrive and the technician or whatever he is, was not there. He would be back in five minutes. when he returned, he told me it would be a 45 minute wait. Hmmmm. I browse stores in the mall and returned at requisite time. I was shown a replacement screen that was broken, and my open device. I would have to return the next day. I came back, and technician presents my repaired IPad, and I wait to pay the balance. He gets on the phone, I ask him if we were done since he was not making any moves to collect the deposit. He then gets up and walks away without explanation. After waiting a bit, I then leave. I get a call when I am in the parking lot, directing me to come back and pay. After I blasted him, I returned to give him his money. He then gets involved in something else and his assistant, who could have processed payment when I was there earlier, processes payment. The technician retorted that just because he walked away doesn't mean that I don't have to pay. His assistant stops mid transaction to address another customer, and I have to yell at the men to complete the transaction. I find their business practices to be questionable and unprofessional. I am not even holding the delay in the repair against them, although you do not call people to pick up an item when it is not ready. You may be better off buying a new device than dealing with people such as this. The verdict is still out on whether they did a competent job. Use your credit cards if you choose to use them. read more

I came to the shop to buy a case for my cell phone. After I chose my case, the guy(=sales person) started talking me into buying a screen protector. He talked for 10 minutes and I bought it. I found that the screen protector reduced the sensitivity of my screen a lot, so my phone wouldn't do anything when I press things on the screen. This is actually the first time that I have ever written a review of a business and I am doing so because I truly am appreciative of the great customer service that I recently received when I had two of the screens and the battery replaced on my i-phone 6 and i-phone 6 plus . I went to the street talk in Roosevelt Field mall directly in front of AT&T, and was helped by the male tech there whose name is something like "RanJan" I went on my lunch break and was able to wait and watch him actually do the repair. The price was pretty reasonable/competitive and they did offer me a discount since I had more than one thing being serviced. In any event, they fixed a screen apple wouldn't fix and it was less than it would have cost me if apple did do it. Unfortunately, about a week later there was an issue with the battery I was given (it must have been defective) and it pushed up and broke the replacement screen. I brought the phone back and he called the owner and the screen and battery were replaced again at no charge. Thank you again for your great customer service and I will be sure to come back to you if I ever need my phones repaired in the future. read more

The screen quality and workmanship is extremely poor, I paid 146 dallors to replace my iPhone X screen and also the purchase of a screen protector. The screen broke with in 2 days, at first I thought it was the protector that was broken but when I took the phone out of the phone case I notice the screen wasn't even placed flushed on to the the phone it was coming of the phone at the edges. I should have known because the the screen was reacting very poorly to touch, however I thought it was the screen protector causing it. I finally return to the mall to explain what was going on with the phone ,they could care less. The only thing they cared about was saying that the screen was cracked. They never acknowledged that the screen was improperly placed to begin with. The phone screen quality is terrible! Don't get your screen fixed here, they're charging basically the same price as apple. They cheated us & charged $50 for 2 screen protectors when the guy selling them said he will do 2 for $27. The screen protector cracked the next day after dropping it waist length. Then the manager had the nerve to say the screen protector is just a sense of security for the phone & nothing was guaranteed when the guy who sold it did say that it was guaranteed. They gave us some cheap led screen that dulls the colors on the screen when I was promised the best quality. These people are not 100% trust worthy because they kept trying to tell us to come back for the phone after it's been fixed. He even tried to block us from watching what he was doing. If you do choose to get your phone fixed here watch them & wait for your phone to be fixed. Also make sure all the screws & everything else is put back in. The manager was willing to work with us but he gave us the worst quality screen replacement at a price that apple would charge and The employees don't know what they're selling or anything about the products. read more

I was looking for a very specific phone case and explained that I needed a case that had a compartment for cash/cards as well as a clip for my office keys. They showed me a case, showed me how the phone snapped in and the keys clipped on. Perfect or so I thought. What a piece of junk. 30 days later the connect clip broke. When I went back and spoke to Cher, the manager, she said to me "of course it broke, you put heavy keys on it". Why on earth would they sell me something specific for my keys when they knew it was not built for that use? This review is for the Street Talk Kiosks in Roosevelt Field Mall. These guys do not care about giving you quality parts. They will act and lie to keep you as a customer; they will give you "amazing deals" because they "genuinely value" business, but they lie about the price of parts and the parts they give you are shoddily made by 3rd parties. I have been there 15 times to be exact and will never return except for one more time to curse out the salesman who sold me 3 consecutive busted LCD screens that broke before leaving the mall. Last time I went to get the LCD fixed he said that it isn't in their return policy, and that he would take a screen from his "personal stash" that he had to pay for himself and that it was 80$ of his own money. The repair only costs me 90$ how stupid do they think I am that I'm supposed to believe that one of these screens costs 80$ and that they run a business on margins like that. If you guys want to know? The screen only costs 22$ on Amazon NOT in bulk. That's one screen with the digitizer and everything (which is what they give you). At bulk they probably get 1 screen + digi for 3$ or less. They also charge different prices based on how much they feel they can charge you. I got a repair for 90$ and a screen protector for 10$ only to see the people directly behind me pay 130$ for the repair of the same iPhone 6 and 30$ for the screen protector. They were able to charge 130$ because they don't itemize their receipts and charged them for extraneous parts. Last time I went I sat back with my girlfriend and watched for 45 minutes as everyone (including me) got ripped off. read more

As soon as i had the glass on my iPhone 7 Plus fixed at 1 of the 3 stands in this mall, i started having problems. My screen was extra sensitive and would dial randomly, the lcd had turned black in certain areas, the front camera was no longer clear.. every picture would come out blurry. Also, it would freeze and i would have to restart phone repeatedly throughout the day. I meant to bring it back immediately but couldn't because i went on vacation. During this time, phone dropped on its side and there was a small chip on the bottom corner. Every time i hit the home button, the crack would get bigger and bigger until it went completely through the screen. This didn't bother me though because it was on bottom of the phone and i could live with that. When i came back from vacation, maybe 2 weeks after having the phone fixed here, i brought it back. They told me they couldn't fix it because phone was cracked. I explained i didn't care about the crack and that they could give me the same cracked screen as long as they fixed the sensitivity on the screen and the fact that it would freeze. The manager was very rude and didn't want to help. I called the owner and spoke with him. He finally had the employee open it up to see what was wrong. Of course, it was an error on their end. Something inside was tightened and it was fixed. Such a process though!! The screen they use to fix phone is a cheap replacement. For about the same price you can take phone to Apple and be sure that you are getting what you pay for without any of the issues. read more

Do not take your iphone here for any types of repairs! They replaced the screen on my iphone X only to find out when I went home that the touch screen was not working at all. I brought it back and the technician put on a new screen and did not transfer my screen protector. Within two weeks the phone cracked again by a simple drop and I brought it back to the store. They state I would have to pay again and so I did. This time the technician said I will give you a screen protector. I paid him again and he fixed my screen, placed a screen protector and I also went home and ordered a drop proof case. AGAIN in two and a half weeks the screen came out of the iphone from the top. I brought it back and told them your screens are cheap quality. The manager was very rude and said no its the same quality and that we will charge you for another screen. I told them i have had this phone for 1 year and it has dropped on a carpet before and never cracked. The manager goes well if you drop a vase on a carpet it will get crack.....I told her no you need to get better screens. She goes some people come every week to fix their phones...I told her yess because your giving people cheap quality screens and charge them $150+ for repairs. She didn't want to do anything for me and so I went to a nice booth right next to them called Zaag and they told me that its because they are using cheap screens. She then showed me the difference between the screens they carry and the one Street Talk carries. Do yourself a favor and don't waste money here! They are ripping people off. read more
