Please Do Not trust this company! I paid $402 for a new screen (mine was glitching, flickering and turned black-the reason it needed a repair), and an unbreakable silicone screen protector. Within days it was glitchy again, the battery life dropped to 1/3rd of it's normal function, and the screen or protector seemed cracked. Since there was a "warranty" I figured I'd have no problems going back within days of the costly repair. When I first had the work done Ahmet was pleasant as he upsold me every chance he could, pleasant, as he swiped my credit card for $402, pleasant as he explained that the protector was "unbreakable", and pleasant as he reassured me that the work was under warranty. When I went back the pleasantries were GONE. He blamed me for the poor repair, defective parts, and had the guts to say he'll "fix" it again for another Fee! I then realized I was getting nowhere with him and requested to speak with the owner. He gave me his number so I called the owner, named Seth, from the kiosk. He was so rude, aggressive and disrespectful that I was flawed. He said what he needed to say and hung up! I am currently filing multiple complaints with BBB, Attorney General, and the Long Island Division of Consumer Affairs. Needless to say I filed a chargeback on my credit card as well. Absolutely horrible. Picked out a phone case and camera protector. Sales girls didn't say prices as she went behind the counter & put on camera protector. When ringing me up I told her that was too expensive and I didn't want. She told me all sales are final but I had not even left her booth and she refused to remove the protector. DO NOT TRUST STREET TALK IN SMITHHAVEN MALL -- Worst Customer Service Experience EVER I had an absolutely appalling experience at Street Talk in Smithhaven Mall. I paid $100 to have my daughter's phone screen replaced, and within just six months, the screen began peeling off at the top. When I returned to the store, they claimed they couldn't locate any record of my purchase conveniently forgetting the service they charged me for. Instead of honoring their repair, they demanded another $70 just to glue the screen down. They said a replacement would be free if the issue recurred within 6 months. Spoiler alert: that was a lie. Two months later, the same issue returned. This time, they did find my record yet refused to stand behind their work and demanded another $100 to replace the screen. Seth, the owner and manager of all Street Talk booths in the mall, flatly refused to help. When I attempted to advocate for myself, he became condescending and dismissive, even insinuating that I "didn't understand English" a deeply disrespectful and racially charged remark, made in front of my child. Security had to intervene (thank you Chris and Joe), and I was told to call mall management, Street Talk USA corporate, and even file a police report. That alone speaks volumes. I returned one last time seeking resolution, and Seth literally told me to go away. I later visited Zaag, another store in the mall, where they immediately diagnosed the issue Street Talk had used excessive glue, causing the screen to lift. Zaag cleaned the mess and replaced the screen without hassle. Professional. Transparent. The total opposite of Street Talk. Seth printed a receipt with fine print about "physical damage" voiding the warranty, yet there was no physical damage whatsoever. Their own system noted I had a 6-month warranty, and this was within two months of the last repair. Street Talk's actions weren't just dishonest they were abusive. Avoid Street Talk at all costs. Between their bait-and-switch pricing, false warranties, rude and prejudiced behavior, and refusal to make things right, this was the most disturbing customer service experience I've ever had. I will never go there again and I strongly urge others not to support a business that operates with such blatant disregard for decency and integrity. read more

All I did is ask her what I had and she accused me of being nasty which I wasn't & I even said I apologized if I came off that way but I wasn't! She went off on I'm not helping you! I was incredibly disappointed by the service at this location. I brought an ipad in to have a screen protector put on it. I asked for the tempered glass screen protector and realised after I got home that the put on a plastic one and charged me the price for tempered glass. During the installation process, they put the screen protector on poorly the first time and the guy got visible annoyed when I asked them to redo it correctly. After he redid it a second time, it was also put on poorly with a corner being cutoff and the other side protuding off of the screen. I could tell they were visibly annoyed by simply me asking for them to do it right. Highly do not recommend. read more

Had a battery replaced on my timex watch. Was told it would be $35. Kind of expensive but ok. When she took off the back she said oh it's a large one and will be $45 = $55.93 with tax. I should have left but just couldnt walk anymore. My watch didnt cost that much. Suggestion: go to a watch kiosk not a phone one. Usually $15. Ripoff. read more

I've contacted the attorney general regarding this god forsaken business. They own all the locations in the mall and you'd be stupid to give them your business after reading all their awful reviews. I dropped my BLACK iPhone off for the back glass to be repaired. I got to pick it up an hour later to find they replaced it with a WHITE iPhone back. Um- what the hell? Why would you replace my phone glass with the wrong color? It's also the MOST shoddiest glue-job I've ever seen. There was so much glue holding the back of the glass on that the glass didn't even sit flush on the phone anymore. There was dried glue all over the sides and to add insult to injury, they put electrical tape on it to hold it together and told me not to take it off for another 30-45min! The workmanship and the replaceglass are just completely shoddy. My phone slipped out of my hand and fell 6" from my hands onto my countertop and it shattered again, just hours after they replaced the glass. I had my iPhone screen replaced here, and it was a complete waste of money. After the repair, the touch screen became slow and glitchy. Just a week later, the screen cracked even though I barely put any pressure on it. I drove three hours back to the store (since it's near my son's school), only for them to refuse to do anything because the screen was broken. I paid $200 for a repair that didn't even last a week. This is the worst place to get anything from I purchased a phone, screen protector and case for $275 , I had the phone for about a month then it got a black ink spot from the inside, then the screen wouldn't unlock, then it got a rainbow streek right through the middle. When I went to return it or get it repaired they said that I dropped it and would have to pay for the repair. They told me they needed to soder the connector to the screen and told me i had to leave my phone because they had to order a part. I asked for a refund, they refused to give one. So i left my phone because they said they would ship it to me on wednesday or thursday (I live two hours away and was there for the holiday). I didnt get my phone back till monday!! i finally have my phone back. the gps no longer works, the front facing camera no longer works, the bluetooth is barely working. the owner, seth, A HUGE SCAM ARTIST, sends me to his friend in jersey. his own "friend" tells me seth doesn't do good business and he regrets doing this favor. he tells me no sodering was done, that seth's technician had pinched my bluetooth cable and replaced the screen wrong, that the screen they gave me is bent, and that the issues im having arent able to be fixed. I call seth back and he refuses to give me a refund even after i call him out on all of this. I purchased a silicone protector 5 days ago. On the receipt it says it allows exchanges/returns within 7 business days. It also says there's a 6 month warranty on all products except glass. The edges are peeling already, so I went back to the store to get an exchange. I was told I would have to pay an extra 15 dollars in order to replace it, however, I already paid $35. Nothing on the receipt says I can't exchange silicone screen protectors. I called the owner and he refused to get it done. The girl who helped me was nice, but couldn't help me. If I could give them 0 stars I would! We brought my daughter's phone there for a simple battery replacement. After replacing the battery, on the way home, my daughter went to use her front facing camera and found that it was no longer functioning. I immediately phoned Street Talk and the manager was already giving me a song and dance. He told me to return and they would look at it. We returned to the mall where the manager was nowhere to be found. A young girl opened the phone and quickly explained - with the phone opened at more than a 90 degree angle- that they don't touch anything but the battery. She showed me where the cable was for the front facing camera and how it was intact. I explained I looked it up and the glass/wire must be kept at a 90 degree angle to avoid damage to the cable and camera and that I could see how she had it open on the workbench exactly why it was broken! We could prove the camera worked just before giving her the phone. They refused to make good on it. Refused to fix it. Refused to return our money. Stay away from them! They are thieves! read more
