I took my iPhone 14 to Tech solutions in Patchogue because my screen went totally white, then an…read morehour later totally black. Could still receive calls and it rang and then a couple of hours after that it was completely dead. I tried Apple Support and even went to the Apple Store where they told me it was going to be $379 plus tax and that they would likely lose all of the data from my phone. I had already gotten a replacement phone and needed the old phone just to receive a code from Apple to transfer my data. I took it to Tech Solutions as I had done business with them in the past. I explained the situation and was given a quote of $125 to replace the screen then told since I was sending the phone back, a temporary screen would be put on, the code retrieved, and the old screen put back on. Not only was all that done in an extremely timely and professional manner, Tech Solutions kept my phone alive (it was apparently overheating for some reason) so they kept it on a cooling gel pad long enough to receive the code while backing up any remaining data. I was so beyond impressed with the job they did, their expertise, their customer relations, that I voluntarily paid them almost 50% more than the final price for their work. The lesson I learned is to go to Tech Solutions first.

Turned out not to be true, but since I was already there I turned over my device. When I get my 13 back it was malfunctioning in multiple ways and somehow those ways kept getting worse to where it felt like the phone was shitting out on me. The person said I've never heard of that happening before due to a battery change. they suggested that I bring it in, but since they were the ones who broke it and didn't seem to know what was going on I decided against that. The trade-in value on our 13 mini iPhone the time of this writing is $150, however Apple wouldn't give me the $150 because they said that the screen had been replaced. I didn't ask for the screen to be replaced, but a non-OEM screen on my phone may have helped explain some of its crappy behaviors. So it cost me $150 for the new battery, and I'm out $150 for the trade-in For that reason, I'll never use you break I buy again. However, with this visit, I have to say Fix Me Now hit it out of the park. First off, over the phone, they quoted me a price that was much lower thank the competition in Commack. Secondly, when I went in, they found me in their system as having been a repeat customer. Finally, after the work was done to perfection (after about an hour's wait), the phone worked great, the charging port was like new, and they even knocked off $5 off the quoted price for being a repeat customer. He had told me over the phone there would be a service charge (very reasonable and much less than Best Buy and what Samsung told me) and if he had to replace anything or take it back with him, there would be an additional charge.
