Do yourself a huge favor and eat here. Just do it. The good is amazing, and the owners are so incredibly nice. Even my picky kids will eat the fried rice, and enjoy the kids chicken pho. The fried tofu is amazing (and I don't usually eat tofu), and the chicken wings! We've tried a few different things and have not been disappointed. Seriously, eat here. Oh, also - their bathroom is one of the cleanest restaurant bathrooms I think I've ever seen. Was so nice walking my kids in the restroom to wash their hands haha. We love this spot! We have been here a handful of times already. So far I've had their grilled pork vermicelli, Bo Kho (Beef Stew), Bo Luc Lac (Shaken beef) and my husband had their special pho, eggrolls, and my parents had their grilled pork chop rice plate. They gave me a quick overview of their dishes and made recommendations on what I should try. I went with the Sizzling Combination pate and their wings... OH. MY. GAWD. OK folks let me just set this straight immediately. When you go to this place, I want you to notice how clean the tables always are and how they are cleaned up immediately afterwards. I can't tell you how many places I have been to Pho and they are a mess. I absolutely love the people here. I love their business and I want them to thrive. They are a great asset to Santee and I think Santee is a great place as well with many clean great businesses. I want to thank the family employees and everybody at this establishment. I absolutely love going here. They always have water immediately to the table and it's clean. Oh so how good is the food? I have no complaints whatsoever. I always get PHO with chicken and beef in it. Put some pepper in there and put some Sriracha in there and it's always amazing. Oxtail, Short Rib Pho are not the standard offerings at most Viet restaurants so it had to be ordered once seen. Portions were surprisingly generous (not complaining), offered plenty of veggie additions to add to your liking. Like others have posted, a juice box was offered to my child and we finished off our meal with a house jello. Food was fresh & tastes authentic. I got the pho beef soup. The broth was amazing was not sweet, which was a plus, although I didn't care for the thinly sliced beef slices but it still tasted great. I came into the restaurant on Saturday evening about 6:30 to have dinner. The restaurant is small and there were a few others seated but there were open tables. The restaurant was unpretentious and informal but for a small family place that was perfectly fine. After being seated I was presented with the menu and ordered the Vietnamese Beef Stew and the Egg Rolls as an appetizer. The service was very good as the food came out quickly. The egg rolls were crispy but very tasty with small shrimp and pork as well as cabbage. The Beef Stew came in a large bowl that was filled with a meaty beef broth and plenty of Beef Stew meat. It was a little spicy but very good. The food was delicious. My only complaint with this restaurant and why I am not giving it a 5th star was that if you eat in the restaurant the seats were uncomfortable as there were no cushions on the chairs or booths. Other than that I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back. If I could have I would give them 4.5 stars but there are no half star ratings on Yelp. read more

Wow! Streets Pho & Grill is a newer Pho spot in Santee. It's in the same complex as Chuze Fitness. Plenty of parking! Service is fast and friendly. The inside is clean with plenty of seating. My wife and I were really surprised at how high many of the ratings are. Our usual spot is Pho Van but since they are closed Wednesdays, we decided to give this place a try. I am not exaggerating when I say they gave us the driest chicken we have ever had in our lives. It was more like jerky, and also had probably no seasoning. Might try the Pho sometime, but definitely do not recommend their grilled chicken plate. Pho Van down the street is more affordable and they've never disappointed. read more
