Experience was fantastic start to finish. Service was quick and friendly. The two women in the front seemed very busy yet keeping it all together. The restaurant's interior is clean and aesthetic, but very lively and popular. I ordered the mi goreng, which was extremely good and the spice levels don't play. My girlfriend got the garlic noodles which came with a large portion of good quality meat. The avocado cream cheese wontons were soooo good as well. I'm from out of town but I would come back.

I was highly recommended to try this place by many city employees. Had to start off with the fresh rolls. Intensely fresh and super healthy. Very refreshing to try and different with the tofu. I then tried the Shrimp Yakisoba and Shrimp Cashew stir fried. The spice level was just right. No need for extra sauces or more spice. Great for sharing with others or taking some home. Venue was very clean. Waiter was friendly and quick. Parking was okay but I'm sure it might depend on what time you decide to go. I'd definitely come back to try the wings and wonton next time!!

Tried this place through for the first time, I ordered through doordash and got the Honk Kong style noodle soup. The dish was great, the broth was very flavorful, garlicy, but still had that clean clear broth feel. The pork was cooked well, and the noodles were nice and not too chewy. I got a side of chicken wontons for my noodles and when I bit into it tasted sour. I've personally never had sour wontons before so i called the store and they were willing to give me new ones but I didn't want to drive over hence the reason why i door dashed. Only giving 4 stars because the wontons.

Second time giving this hidden gem a try, and we got to enjoy our meal and the whole place to ourselves, they have nice music playing not too loud. I do highly recommend to ask questions their food can have a high spice ! The food I ordered this time the fried rice with the three proteins enough for two people the noodles were delicious ? The waitress was very nice.

Dont let the photos fool you. 1. The guy at the register was not nice, he didn't want me there I ordered spicy wonton. & It was not good at all. Don't go here, this was terrible food. no flavor too it, it just tasted like oil & the spice should be managed by the customers not the chef. It was too much chili oil added, i couldnt even taste the wontons On top of that my server wasn't really welcoming to me. I told him I am still deciding what I wanted and it seemed like he got mad at me because I didn't know what I wanted, so he walked away. I didn't feel comfortable in talking to him about the menu. My experience was terrible.

Always loved Nood Bar in North Park but they're too far for Doordash to reach from Eastlake. So glad they opened up Oodles in La Mesa so we can still get our fix of high quality noodles and Asian dishes. Our faves include the Laksa Curry Noodles and Char Kway Teow that's reminiscent of Singapore, that has just the right amount of heat and tons of meat and veggies in it, super flavorful Hong Kong Noodle Soup, the Dan Dan Noodles, OG Fried Rice with tons of Chinese Sausage and Onions. Really can't go wrong at this place and so glad they're providing access to us down south and out east.

Came here with my fiancé for some yummy noodles! We've been meaning to try this place for the past couple months. We tried the Szechuan Spicy Chicken Wontons, Mi Goreng noodles, and the sweet chili fried rice with chicken. I'll start off by saying I was not a fan of the spicy wontons, I felt like the sauce had kind of a vinegar taste that I found unpleasant and wasn't spicy at all. My absolute favorite thing was the sweet chili fried rice however and the noodles were pretty darn tasty too! The service was amazing, it was very fast and friendly and while it's a small space; it gets full quickly! I think we'll definitely be back and we'll just aim to try some other dishes!

Really nice spot if you're looking for a price that is open late and has good food! The food came out really fast and my favorite dish I had was the noodles! The workers there were nice and checked up on us pretty frequently.

Visited 2/19/2025 Well yesterday I decided to sample Oodles by the Nude Bar in La Mesa. https://oodlesbythenoodbar.com/ I had heard the dishes were Fresh and Tasty so it was time to give It a try and cross it off my list. First it's a nice clean little restaurant with a fair amount of seating in a small strip mall. The staff were friendly with a smile and eager to answer all my questions. The Menu was simple but generous with tasty options to order and the food is as fresh as possible for a restaurant.. Service was fast and they have a great takeout business. Now as what I decided to try as a first timer. It was suggested to me to try a few of their most popular plates. I wasn't hungry enough to try all I wanted to so I picked two from the menu for this visit. First The Spicy Szechuan Shrimp Wantons 6 pcs. $10.99 Very tasty, Great Flavor but not so spicy at all. Be sure to ask for The Spice Condiment Tray with Great Chili Oil. Saved the day with added Heat. I enjoyed this dish. They say my next choice is their biggest seller The Chef Selection . Mi Goreng. $18.99 A great combination of proteins and noodles in a flavorful sauce. Nice large serving with some to take home for later. All in All a good Experience and I'll be back to sample more of the menu picks. Worth A Visit when your in or around La Mesa. Check out the menu and, Enjoy My Friends.

Quaint and cozy restaurant. Tanya was our server; everyone's server for lunch service and she was wonderful. It's definitely a full service experience; so if you're popping in during lunch hour; be prepared to have time so you don't have to take your food Togo. The food quality was exceptional. Flavors were wonderful. Would definitely come back for dinner service and drinks with more time on our schedule so we're not rushing back to work. YUMMY!

hot broth spilled in bag , lids were barely on

The guy at the register wouldn't even look or talk to us. Or respond when we said thanks multiple times. Maybe he was just having a bad day but we are not coming back. Spent over $100 and tipped 18% on a to go order but he was not happy we were there. We were also the only people in there.

And yes, the drunken noodles at Signature Thai Cuisine is the best I've had. The FBI (fried bananas and ice cream), which I get without ice cream, is perhaps even better than the already dreamy drunken noodles. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT…read more Unfortunately, the service at this location has been highly inconsistent. While I had polite and respectful male servers during my first two visits, my last two experiences were ruined by a specific female waitress (It's the woman who looks like she's had visible facial/nose surgery). During my most recent visit, she completely abandoned our table after bringing the food. We had to go without water refills. She basically dumped our food off, got on what I think may have been FaceTime, was speaking loudly in her language, and just abandoned our table. My husband eventually had to track down another staff member just to get our check and to go boxes. The table next to us remained uncleaned until the male waiter came out. I also observed that waitress acting perturbed and ignoring another table's request for separate checks. Because of this incredibly unprofessional behavior and inattentiveness, I cannot trust eating here again. Management really needs to address her lack of customer service. She's going to make them lose customers. I heard the table across from us saying they weren't coming back either. edit: I noticed she's actually on one of the photos here on yelp throwing up a peace sign with a customer. Management needs to let her know it's not a bar, it's a job. She should have that "friendly" energy with everyone, and she does not ! EDIT: The owner contacted me, asked me to consider removing my review. I will not. I also see several new reviews that in my opinion look a little suspicious, just saying. It's strange how the most recent reviews seen similar, and they all have a generic profile.

This time I branched out and tried the Thai sausage fried rice and the fresh spring rolls for a takeout dinner, and I am so glad I did. They were absolutely right when they said my tummy would be happy. The experience started with a phone call to place my order, and the person who took it was immediately warm and friendly. When I came in to pick everything up, the ladies behind the counter were genuinely enthusiastic, not in a performative way, but in the way that people are when they're truly proud of what they're serving. They guaranteed I'd love it, and they delivered on that promise completely. It's rare to walk into a place and feel that kind of energy -- a team that's happy to be there and happy to feed you. That warmth is just as much a reason to come back as the food itself. And I will absolutely be coming back to keep working my way through the menu.

My boyfriend got the Spicy Noodles, and they were just as amazing. He had to force himself stop eating so he could enjoy the rest for his lunch the next day, haha. We finished with mango sticky rice, and unsurprisingly, it was incredible. You can't really go wrong with mango sticky rice in general, but this was warm, sweet, and fragrant. The lobby was filling up quickly with dine-in customers and pickup orders, and he was literally doing everything -- cleaning tables, taking orders, running food. Whew. When we asked what was popular on the menu, the responses were short, like "It depends on what you like." He wasn't rude at all -- just clearly overwhelmed and didn't have time to connect. I get it, but when you're dining in, you do hope for a little more guidance. It took about 25 minutes to receive our appetizers, and we didn't get drinks at the beginning. About 10 minutes into eating our appetizers, our entrées came out. I ordered the Spicy Noodles with beef, and my husband ordered the Pad Thai. His plate looked beautiful and tasted fresh and delicious. Mine, on the other hand, looked like the noodles had been sitting -- a bit dry -- although the veggies were vibrant and colorful, which helped presentation-wise. Unfortunately, I kept tasting a bitterness and realized some of the noodles at the bottom were burnt. I'm not one to complain, but I definitely needed water at that point. My husband had to go to the counter to ask for drinks, and Sam apologized and brought them about five minutes later. When we checked out, Sam still had a smile on his face, which I truly appreciated. He mentioned we came at a very busy time and day. I hope that wasn't meant to excuse the hiccups -- a simple apology would've been perfectly fine. Still, I respect that he kept it together and did his best. The dining area inside is small, but they do have an outdoor table option if requested. I'm not sure if this experience reflects their normal standard, and I hope it doesn't. There's definitely room for improvement with food quality consistency and front-of-house support. Sam was kind, and honestly, I'd probably give them another try simply because he handled the pressure as best as he could. But they really need another staff member up front to help with orders, cleaning, and running food instead of having one person juggle it all. Room to grow for sure.
