The location was easy to find. The staff were friendly and helpful. The store was quaint with about everything you could need. It was a quiet location without loud partiers and everyone adhered to the quiet time rule. There were 5 bathrooms in our area that were private per-person rooms complete with showers. There was PLENTY of hot water as I showered each day around 8am. I would recommend this campground to anyone looking for a family camping experience. read more

Gorgeous leaves in the autumn and multiple ponds that make the camp really tranquil and beautiful. The showers were well maintained and clean. There were five bathrooms in two different sections of the camp. Water pressure was OK but some of the showers definitely do not get hot water...one of my showers was warm-lukewarm but the next day the shower was just cold and became frigid. Our "deluxe" tent site in the shade was lovely even under heavy rains and we appreciated the morning trash pick up service. We used the community shower and restroom house and it was *substandard*, even for camping (which we do a fair amount of in state parks across the country). The showers had almost no water flow and were mildly warmer than tap temperatures, sometimes the toilets didn't have enough pressure to flush. The toilets were also cozied up to the walls under the toilet paper dispensers for an awkward seat. We were also disgusted by the restroom trash cans being hand opened instead of swinging tops or foot activated. Round door knobs also had to be turned in the hand and locked with a second hand, ensuring hands are touching everything. There wasn't a vacant/in-use signal on the locked doors, so people were constantly just trying them to find an open facility. read more

I've been here for three seasons. Beautiful grounds lots of trees, there are 3 ponds. Two for fishing. The larger is catch and release the other is keep and eat. They are family owned and managed and the staff work hard to make every stay a good one. and any problems were handled quickly. The store has most things you may need. There's a hand scooped gourmet ice cream counter. Yum. The pool was perfect for those hot summer days. They have a disc golf course but I don't play it so not sure about that. The weekends always have some kind of activities so there's games or crafts for the kids, or adults. They have Free Pancake breakfasts or hotdogs at the pavilion periodically. Sometimes there's a live concert on the lawn by the first pavilion. There are a lot of pull-through sites I think they're called, for big motorcoaches and trailers. Regular sites too, many tucked up by shady hills and cozy. There are small cabins that have water,electric, a/c with a small fridge and microwave. They have lodges for a more comfortable stay. That's my kind of camping! Just sayin'. There's a couple bathroom buildings and they're close by. The ones I saw were private bathrooms with showers. I saw a "glamping" tent. Even had a dining area and bedroom and A/C. Shower and bathroom, electric and water and kitchen yet it is actually a tent! My kind of roughing it. They have 24hr coin-op laundry mat and 24hr game room/arcade. Great places to duck away from the heat, they keep it cool in both areas. Rain. That happens too. Hard and fast. Some of the lower sites have some mud issues but the staff do all they can to help. The tent sites are nice but I haven't done more than pass by them on my walks around the campground. On a few places around camp they say they've heard of sasquatch sign. There are posted signs not to feed them if you do see one let them know when and where you saw it. Did you know the young are reported to climb trees? Some say they saw a lookout squatch up a tree on one of the trails... I'm telling you, Bigfoot saw me but nobody believed him. I looked forward to mornings watching the sunrise over the pond. Lightning bugs in the evenings come out and make a magical display. Like a fairy fantasy. Being from CA, this was a new wonder for me. The only ones I'd seen was on TV or at Disneyland. The have chickens near the front of the campground along a trail that goes by the garden. Oh, I forgot to mention the trains. They make their presence known often. I hope you find it as quaint as I do. Coming here from small town NorCal, I love it. I would totally recommend coming for a stay there. read more

Definitely not coming back. We tried calling for over a week to change our reservation but they wouldn't answer. Upon arrival we were told that we needed to change it 7 days before. We explained that we have been calling and emailed but they didn't do anything. The spots were so narrow and the wastewater hook up was filthy. I was honestly impressed by this space overall. I've never stayed at a KOA campsite before and always heard good things. I get it now. Our friends had their camper there and I was able to stay with them. The campsite was overall clean and spacious, with pretty lakes apparently full of fish. The bathrooms were kept fairly clean, though not always stocked with toilet paper or paper towels- though to be fair, people were stealing rolls pretty obviously, and washing dishes in the sinks. The water in the (single person, locked door) shower stalls had no pressure and was cold, but it served the purpose. The people in the shop were nice, for the little interaction I had with them. It was quiet, peaceful, and felt safe. I'm not much one for camping, but this was a pretty nice experience overall. read more

Checking in went smoothly. Was asked about an hour slot for pool. Very considerate. Escorted us to our pull thru spot which was only a short walk to pool and office. Pool was devine temp just right. Nice spot, people very friendly and helpful. Several mistakes at check-in with the reservation and our site, but that happens especially with what appeared to be a new employee being trained. What was bad is the septic smell everywhere. It's the first day of summer, what's it going to be like in August? But worst of all was the wifI, which is really important when your traveling for communications and reservations. It was awful and for some reason kicked in IMMEDIATELY when we rolled out the front gate. Spend some money, fix the septic and the wifi, it's important. read more

stayed one night in Aug 2024 with our camper van. Had water and electricity hookups. This was fine. our site and neighbor sites were in need of mowing. all the picnic tables were rusty on framework and board tops never ever painted. We took showers at their bathhouse. All the stalls were tile with moldy grout everywhere. their Rv dump station needed weeded around and needed to be rinsed. this KOA definitely needed attention and maintenance. read more

This place was great! We brought our young nephews for their first camping trip. We stayed in a tent and the sites seemed level enough for a couple of tents. The bathrooms were immaculate when we first got there and slowly throughout the rest of the day got progressively worse with no cleaning in sight unfortunately. The soap dispenser in the one bathroom was out the entire day we stayed so I'm not sure what their cleaning schedule is like. We were met by friendly faces at the front desk and they informed us that they had just bought the KOA a couple of weeks prior so if you've been here before I encourage you to give this place another try. The general store seemed well equipped and we enjoyed the wood drop off to our campsite. The boys enjoyed the pool and the jump pad. We brought a football and threw it around and made s'mores and they were content! We would definitely stay here again! I wish that they could do something about people leaving their trash out at night. We had about 10 raccoons come and visit our campfire in one night. Most of them came right up to us without any fear at all. I had some trouble finding the dumpsters late at night so maybe that's why people didn't throw their trash away. I know that normally, pre-COVID, there is trash pickup around 10PM but that was understandably suspended for the time being. read more

A very scenic KOA just 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland. The KOA is in a very quiet area with mature trees everywhere. The sites and roads are gravel with a picnic table and fire pit at each. The park has very good wifi service and cable at each site. With so many trees, there are only a few sites that will be satellite friendly. The park has good restrooms/showers and laundry rooms along with a nice fishing lake, pool areas, basketball courts and other playgrounds. Nice grounds, We did the primitive camping. The spots weren't exactly laid out and I don't believe there are enough fire rings/picnic tables for all of the campers they let in. Check-in/out was easy. Showers are typical low pressure/cold for camping. I'd stay again for the price. read more

This KOA has quickly become one of our favorites over the past couple months. Roomy sites with lots of shade, two beautiful lakes for fishing, and cleanliness are the primary reasons. The location is ideal as well with amazing hiking, Brandywine Falls, Cuyahoga Nat'l Park Railroad, historic sites and some incredible restaurants within 10-15 minutes. And there's a clean pool to dip in after a day of Summer fun! Staff go out of their way to help you feel welcome and go above & beyond every time we stay here! read more

We were on a month-long trip across the country and needed a place to camp for a couple of nights, do our laundry, etc. and we found this on Yelp. What a wonderful surprise! The location is awesome - not far from many services but feels like your miles away in the country! The staff were so kind and helpful and made us feel at home right away. We love that they deliver firewood and ice to your campsite :) It happened to be their Halloween celebration weekend and they had so many fun activities - pumpkin painting, scavenger hunt, hayrides, and trick or treating. We loved watching all the young families enjoy the fun! The office and store are great and they have delicious ice cream and homemade fudge along with many camping basics and gift items. This is by far the nicest KOA that we've visited and we loved the area! Thanks for making these tired Californians feel so welcome at your beautiful campground! read more

Another poor customer service experience at the Streetsboro KOA. All had been well until my husband and I were locked out of our cabin. When I went to use the courtesy phone, there was incorrect information on the voicemail. We had no way of contacting anyone, as the after-hours number is not posted. When we were finally able to get back inside, I saw the after-hours number and called it-- with no answer and a voicemail that wasnt set up. I tried calling again to alert them to the situation and was finally met on the other end by a rude employee asking me "If I knew what it was like to leave my phone in the other room." (why, yes I do, but I don't have an emergency after-hours phone!) This is a huge safety issue. I will not be staying at this KOA again. read more

Excellent campground, came here for a night this week and it was perfect. 2 lakes for fishing as well as a very large swimming pool. Campground was buzzing with things to do and had an ice cream/sweets shop on site. They had private bathrooms (like a toilet in shower in its own room, win!) as well as some solo toilet and showers. The bathroom closer to the front could use some renovations in the showers. There was nearly no water pressure and the showers were dated. Other then that really ideal place to stay, just use the bathrooms towards the back! read more

1st impression driving into park say nice! Most recent stay was 07/10//16 & 07/11/16 (I 'm late in posting my review) . . . We camp in a Little Rig "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. Park has 2 restroom/shower buildings - PROS and CONS of each. CONS: We camped close to very old outdated restroom/shower building. While set up unisex style with private separate toilet/sink/shower rooms, all were dismal not cheery looking in need of some TLC w/new fixtures and updating,.Rooms were sized ok, but had poor ventilation and steamed up quickly and no way to escape the air but open the door, then you're exposed. Showers were very small/tight w/little room to move around. Rubber mats helps to absorb the water on the floor - but still wear your clogs. PROS: is the shelves and hooks for your stuff plus a small stool for sitting [all thoughtful convenience necessities for campers] Also the newer shower/restroom building located adjacent to the pool near the entrance of the grounds is very nice All unisex rooms set up the same way but larger, more modern bright and clean. Nice if some day they tear down old building and replace with copy of newer building as described. We camped at the back end of the campground on the grass and among the trees, which was very nice roomy and quiet. No issues there at all - nice area for big rvs down to tents. Campground layout was good w/pool, good condition gavel interior roads, cabins for rent, permanent and seasonal sites too - all well kept and neat looking. This place was pretty nice and family and dog friendly. There are many guests that bring their dogs so keeping your dog on a leash is a good idea.. They provide clean bathrooms on one side of their public area and showers on the other. I was expecting this to look like a portable potty but it was far from it. They provided nice clean flushable toilets and running water. We were provided a map of the campsite when we first got there to figure out if we wanted a more primitive camping experience or something not as close to it. We had a running water faucet at our campsite and they provided a ring for the fire pit which is nice. Other than that great clean camp ground. read more

Do not do business with this KOA. I made reservations for my summer vacation and then had to cancel. Left voicemails on telephone number and never received return telephone call. I wrote emails and received replies confirming acknowledgment of my reservation cancellation. Streetsboro KOA would not refund my money because they claimed to be "too busy". I contacted KOA corporate office. KOA corporate would not help because each KOA enterprise is an independent franchise. Finally, after waiting over four weeks and a second round of emails including KOA corporate office, I received a refund for my canceled reservation. Streetsboro KOA is a stain on the KOA brand. Most KOA enterprises are well run with happy friendly people which promptly take care of business. Streetsboro KOA is poorly run and managed. read more

First night visiting from out of state and just wanted to spend a night at a KOA (I have stayed at them before and have had wonderful experiences) however this KOA was not as pleasant as the other ones. There were trains driving passed and blowing their whistles the ENTIRE night. It made it so difficult to sleep. The staff seemed to be almost like mummies, not very friendly and just sort of blank. The private baths and the showers were nice and I did appreciate them. All in all fine for one night but would not want to stay for multiple nights. read more

This was my first time at a KOA and I wasn't expecting much, but the small cabin we stayed in was clean, cozy, and had a TV with cable, air conditioning/heat, and free wifi. We didn't even realize those things were included free with our stay. Outside in our little "yard" was a fire pit, grill, picnic bench, and nice flowerbed. The campground was very spacious and had two playgrounds, a pool, and a little dog park as well, which we used. We paid $70 for an experience that was well worth it- we're glad we didn't get a hotel instead. If you're in an RV, there's a little less personal space, but the cabins are spaced generously. Bathrooms and showers (also free and nearby) were also very clean. Overall, a nice experience for a very reasonable price. Would certainly stay again. read more

Don't be deceived! Some of the staff are nice, if they have the time! This place gets very busy and the staff then is not very helpful. Also because of the cabin rentals- sometimes we saw sketchy characters were in the campground! We have stayed here several times and finally have decided the new owners are RUDE. The pricing is WAY TOO HIGH, even for the last part of the season. A MUCH BETTER place to camp with VERY reasonable rates, tons of trees and lots of beautiful acreage including a Cleaner Lake is WOODSIDE CAMP GROUND in Streetsboro on Frost Road. The new owners of the Streetsboro KOA are inconsistent and rude at times, they act at first like they care but trust me, these two ladies could care less if your stay is great or not! When we returned our pass cards this last visit, the staff didn't ask how the stay was and barely took the time to write our name down. read more

The grounds were kept clean and the pool is nice, that about sums up the positives. We just finished staying 9 days, but would have left after the 2nd day if we would not have lost our money. The lots are very uneven and we had to go buy more leveling blocks for our camper and build and extra step so we didn't have to do the splits to get to our first step. The people are nice enough, but the owners knew about a problem in the laundry room, but failed to keep a sign up to let everyone that uses the laundry know, therefore making it a problem. There is a section that has NO wifi, therefore we had to move, since we required wifi to homeschool. read more

We stayed here for 2.5 months in between selling our home and hitting the road in our RV. We loved our time there. The pool was kept very clean and we loved that it was a salt water pool. The staff was so nice and accommodating. We had a couple of requests for our site and they were taken care of in a timely manner. The store makes their own fudge which is great and the ice cream there is some of the best I've ever had. The grounds were quiet and peaceful and we always felt safe and sound. We highly recommend this KOA if you are in the Cleveland/Akron area. read more

We stayed at this park for the month of July and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is very nice and helpful. We liked that they recycle and that they pick up garbage several times during the day. The pool is very nice and well kept. We were able to have mail and packages delivered to the office here. Very pet friendly.
