Luckily, alot has changed since then and we are fortunate enough to have some really great pizza, including Izzy's. The pizza here is in the conversation for the best in Omaha, regardless of style. The crust is incredible. It is crispy on the outside but tender and fluffy on the inside. I've only had the Detroit style but they also have a grandma style. They also do take and bakes of the Detroit style and they are fantastic. If you are worried about loss in quality with the take and bake, please don't. They are darn good, too. The location is pretty small, so I would consider this to be a take out place almost exclusively (at least for now). There are a few tables but it's not good for larger groups. I once saw a group of about eight in town for a baseball tournament try to stop in and it wasn't going to work for that. Just something to know. Izzy's is the best of its kind in Omaha and we are lucky to have it. It's worth a trip if you haven't yet tried it. I would almost guarantee that you will love their pizza.
