Before ordering, I asked a regular patron for a recommendation, and he suggested just about everything the chicken shawarma, gyro (especially with their delicious rice), and falafel. Since I hadn't had chicken shawarma in a while, I went with that and also decided to try the baklava. The recommendation did not disappoint! The chicken shawarma was absolutely delicious--seasoned just right, juicy, and full of flavor. And the baklava? A perfect sweet treat! The pastry had just the right amount of sweetness and a flaky crispness that made it an ideal cheat meal indulgence. How about a white cheese, that is NOT greasy and doesn't upset the stomach. Their menu doesn't say what kind of cheese and I failed to ask, but never again with the cheddar cheese ones (ack).
