Strength & Honor is an amazing studio. Jeff is a great instructor for both kids and adults. My son has learned a lot from Jeff, not only with Mixed Martial Arts but with life lessons as well. He not only teaches about the martial arts but he explains and demonstrates how they can be used in real life situations. I love watching my son grow day to day and Jeff is a huge reason for that. Just finished up a free week of their women's muay thai class (and a bit of nogi grappling as well). The classes were fun, and the instructor gives one on one attention to every student during the class time. During muay thai, I liked how the instructor would modify the combinations being practiced depending on the student's skill level, whether you're a complete newbie or have had a bit of experience before. I'll be honest, and say I've taken classes in the past at other mma gyms where an instructor will show a combo or technique and do a half-assed job of watching and paying attention to the students in the class. It takes a special person to be able to work with kids and have them want to go back. Jeff definitely has what it takes. My son was getting bullied when he was in 2nd grade and when he started attending Jeff's class he got the confidence and the knowledge to defend himself against the kid that was bullying him. This mixed martial arts school is one of the best schools I have ever been too. Its a great school for all levels. From self defense to exercise to serious competition. I view this school as the school of champion's. The level of competiton this school has is serious! They always continue to make me work hard and then some. It is located in a terrific area. Jeff trained both of my children who are now adults for several years. Both won tournaments but more importantly they gained confidence they would have never had otherwise.
