She was absolutely amazing! I did the deep tissue with the hot stones and my body felt rejuvenated after. Norma was very informative and explained to me the different steps of the massage (for example, she told me how stress had caused fluid to buildup underneath my arms, which I didn't even know!). She massaged areas that I didn't even know were tense and was very respectful when massaging my thigh area. As I was paying at the end of the appointment, Norma asked me how I felt and I told her I was good but there was just a little bit of pain in my upper back area but that it was ok and instead of being satisfied with my answer, Norma helped stretch me out until I was pain free. I paid for one hour and it ended up actually being an hour and 15 minutes because Norma went above and beyond for me. I truly recommend her and this spa. Rather than focusing on the treatment, much of the session was spent trying to sell skincare products. At the end of my visit, I was also encouraged to purchase a membership, but the pricing did not honor the Mother's Day special that had originally attracted me to the spa. As a result, what I expected to be a special and affordable experience turned out to be much more expensive than anticipated. While the massage was wonderful, I was disappointed by the constant sales pressure and the lack of transparency regarding the promotional pricing.

My massage therapist, Melania, was awesome, so kind, so caring, and very thorough. I asked the front desk to inform people before coming in that they should not wear perfumes or lavender oil because Melania has an allergy that triggers difficult breathing and possibly other more serious symptoms in the presence of some essential oils. My one little complain is that when making reservation online, I have to pay ahead, and they ask for the tip amount. The first time I was like, I haven't even gotten my service yet, how would I know what to tip? And would I get a bad massage if they don't think I tip generous enough?
