I went here pre-Covid for a full body sugar scrub that I found in Groupon. I love trying new (for me) companies that pamper me! The ambiance is beautiful and relaxing. The attendant was sweet. I got on the table in my panties and completely relaxed into the experience. This was heavenly! The rough texture of the sugar was wonderful, soothing and calming. The pressure could have been a little stronger, but I didn't come for a massage so I didn't ask... Next time I will. I absolutely loved this experience. Recently, I went to their other location in Palmetto Bay - review is posted. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company! To the owners: I love your company! I went to My Massage Haven and had a massage with Belkis. I booked a 30-minute session because it was my first time there, and I was experiencing severe muscle pain in my trapezius area. She did focus on both trapezius muscles, but I expected it to be a full-body massage. At the very least, I wish she had explained that the 30 minutes would be focused only on that specific area and not be a full massage. Unfortunately, I left feeling worse than when I arrived. I used to love this place: Amazing deep tissue massages for a very affordable price. But it has gone downhill recently. I was in a lot of pain to the point that I had headaches, so I made appointment for a "Deep Recovery" massage. I was informed over the phone that the prices have gone up but that hot stones are now included. I really didn't care for the hot stones but was willing to splurge on a massage as I really needed it. It was probably one of the worst massages of my life. She didn't even ask me if I had pain or any specific concerns. She didn't work on any of the areas that had a lot of knots like my shoulders and neck. She barely even massaged me. Most of it was hot stones and her rubbing her hands on my back. I left and was still in so much pain. I usually always feel like massages could go on longer but I actually wanted it to be over because I wasn't feeling any better. The tip options started at 20% which I normally always but I gave closer to 18% since it wasn't great service. She didn't seem happy and didn't even say thank you. You can honest get a better massage at these chair massage places in the mall for a lot cheaper. read more

The absolute worst massage I have ever received. The masseuse was very unprofessional. I used a body pillow, when I was time to turn around she left the room and I had to remove the pillow myself, flip over and readjust myself. She didn't touch my arms, hands or my feet. I'm not sure if she's qualified or even has a license but it was not the money or my time. She also dropped a hand stone on my leg and laughed it off. Just checked this place out. It was across the street from my hotel, located in a strip mall. The place is nothing fancy but it's clean and the music is nice. I had a Spanish lady, whose name I did not get but she was fantastic. I did a one hour deep tissue and it did not disappoint. I left feeling super relaxed. I had a massage here last week with the owner or manager and it was very good. For the money (55 bucks) it was excellent. I will say that as a veteran of bodywork, 60 or 70 massage therapists over a lifetime, his interpretation of deep tissue was peculiar. Yes, the pressure was deep but he had a technique I've never experienced. Instead of doing one body part at a time, then moving on, he circles back around. There had to be a method to the madness, but on the table I was a tad confused. I was able to communicate with him (unlike the places I go in NYC where no one speaks a word of English, well, maybe 20 words of English). He used those hot stones which I think is hooey but pleasant. I just don't think it does anything to release muscular tension. But I was radically better after this massage. I'm having some physical issues and the shoulders are worse than ever. I had much more mobility afterward and my ankles/shins/calves were better too. I did not like the egg crate on the massage table and he gladly removed it for me, so I had direct contact with the hard table through the sheet. I wish my flight to NYC had been an hour later. I'd have gone a second day. read more

The tan female therapist with short hair gave me the the worst massage I have ever received. She was extremely rough and rushed through the massage she only gave me 40 min and I didn't even want to complain because I was happy it was over. my massage today was wonderful. However, the facial I had afterwards was the worst EVER! I should have said something at the time. My eyes are still hurting from the facial today. They do not provide protective eyewear when they are shining the light on your face. Everything in the room looks so old and unsterile. I would not believe this place would pass an inspection. She kept entering and leaving the room the whole time throughout the facial. She aggressively extracted my face and I left with red marks on my face. I hope I don't get scabs in the next few days. She used a red jelly like mask on my face, yet didn't seem to care to get that all off my face before leaving. I went to the bathroom afterwards and washed the remainder off. She put some type of tinted moisturizer of some sort on my face so when I washed it off along with the residual masks I saw red line marks on my face. The facialist ruined the relaxed sensation from the massage. Seriously though, I should have walked right out after walking into the room and listened to my gut instinct. read more

I love the fact that this place has the option of chair massages. I have had 2 full body massages and one chair massage of 30 minutes with Ana, which is a sweetheart. But sadly I will not be returning to Massage Haven as their scheduling for appointments is absolutely horrible! I have called ahead of time to schedule my husband and myself for massages just to be told at the door that a therapist is not available for one of us. The first time the therapist never booked my appointment and the 2nd the person answering the phones blatantly told me that after she scheduled us she was told a therapist would not be available but didn't notify me because she had lost my number. So back to Massage Envy I go! Where they are more efficient in booking appointments and this would most likely never happen. read more
