First stretch here, as I live in San Diego. Nice to be able to use membership in other cities, too. Looks like a new location, but they are well set up. Shannon gave a good stretch, and asked for my input and eased up or pushed more as needed. Love their 3-5-7 comfort level for stretches. If I could give a zero star rating I would. I'm kicking myself for even trying this location in the first place. I knew that when I saw a free 30 minute stretch that it was just a ploy to bring people in and use high sales tactics to sell an expensive program. Should've listened to my instincts, but because I've been so sore I though I'd give it a chance. My mistake. Date of transaction was August 22, 2022. From what I understand Linda Kramer is the manager of this location at Stretch Zone Longbow. I went in for a free 30 minute stretch and consultation with Linda. After the consultation she provided intense pressure sales tactics and convinced me to sign a contract for 2 stretch sessions total for $80. When I went to sign the contact I noticed that she had attempted to make me sign a recurring 3 month contract so that in the end I would be paying $240 over the course of the 3 months. I told her no, that I just wanted the 2 stretches total and that I would not commit to a 3 month contract, so she changed the contract. However, when I got home I was upset that I signed the contract for the 2 stretches, as I didn't feel comfortable at the location, nor with her and her the high pressure I felt to purchase a contract. So, I decided to cancel the contract that same day (Aug 22, 2022) and I provided her with a written "Notice of Cancellation" to the email address of their location. I did not hear a response. The next day I called the office and spoke with her over the phone explaining that I had sent them the email to cancel. She asked me to resend it, so I did. She offered that I could cancel my sessions or give them away, but that there would be no refund. However, under Arizona State Legislature article A.R.S. 44-1793, it states that "A contract for new or increased health spa services may be cancelled at any time before midnight of the third operating day after the customer received a copy of the contract. In order to cancel a contract the customer shall notify the health spa of cancellation in writing pursuant to subsection I of this section. All monies paid pursuant to the canceled contract shall be fully refunded within thirty days after receipt of the notice of cancellation." I emailed her twice again asking for the contact information of someone higher up in the chain of command to voice a complaint, but no response. read more

Great place to get your body loosened up and feeling like it should. With many compressed disk in my lower back and one bulging disk, the stretching from SZ have almost totally eliminated the pain associated with that. I did go here after PT. I can now run again with no pain. Great results and a regular place for me. read more

CAUTION BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING - Like everyone else, Stretch Zone uses deceitful practices to get customers to sign-up for longterm contracts. StretchZone indicated that the contract was month-to-month and can be cancelled anytime. After a month of marginal service, I called to inform them, that I would not continue. They said that I signed up for a minimum of 3 months ($240/month), and could not cancel until after that time. Of course, they have my Debit Card information and auto withdraws. I agree with all of the reviewers calling this a "Scam" only after your money. I strongly suggest you DO NOT give your Debit card and pay cash at the time of service only, or just go to a stretch service that puts customer satisfaction over their profit. Also note that the guy signing you up is on commission, which means, he is fully incentivized by how much money he can scam from you. Any way you can give zero stars? read more

Stretch Zone does not care about its customers it only cares about selling contracts. They baited my husband to sign up after he used a 1 free session flyer. Being the good hearted, trusting person he is, he did not question the manager Linda Kramer when he signed up. He thought he was getting a "special rate". Turns out they conned him into signing up for a 3 months package! So 3 times what he expected to pay! We are sickened by the lack of compassion in this business. He requested to cancel and was informed of a cancellation fee, and that he still owes for 2 months services he does not want or need. He was not provided with a hard copy or email contract at time of signing and he didn't question it because he didn't realize it was an electronic contract. Heartless, cut throat corporate franchise at play here. Don't be mistaken, they are not in the business to help others. We requested to have contact with the franchise owners but we're denied. I went to Stretch Zone Longbow using a free session offer on 07/23/2022. After my free stretch with GM Linda Kramer (https://www.linkedin.com/in/linda-kramer-69660a111 & @linda__kramer), she talked about package options available. She said there was a special for 8 sessions for $320. This is a lot of money, but I wanted to try it out. She reported that after one month I could re-evaluate if I wanted to continue. I signed up for what I was told a one-time 8 session package for $320 of which I was hesitant to purchase anyway but wanted to try it!! The first few sessions were fine because I was working with the same person (Meagan) and they knew what they were doing, and then I would show up only to be surprised by someone new assigned to me for the session and it was horrible service - the turnover there is an issue and if you change the stretch technician let the customer know ahead of time to give them an opportunity to change the date and time of the session!!!! After my 8 sessions were done I was surprised to see my card was charged for another $320. I contacted them and let them know how I felt about this very sneaky and dangerous practice of baiting and deceiving customers, I informed them I did not agree to an on-going membership and only to the 8 sessions. I was assured that after the 8 sessions I could determine then if I wanted to continue. Instead of being sneaky and misleading all they had to do was contact me once my 8 sessions were done to see if I wanted to continue or not, but NOTHING, just ran the card and stole $320 from me for service I no longer want and they refuse to refund my hard earned $320! I was never provided with a paper or electronic copy of any contract on the date of purchasing the initial 8 sessions. This is a very dishonest and deceitful practice and I am sure there are many more customers they have done this to at not only this location but others as well. Also, as I stated I contacted them on Tuesday 8/23/2022 and gave them a full day to refund my money to make this right and warned them that I would be taking action against them afterwards on Thursday 8/24/2022! We rescheduled on the app and today both appointments were cancelled AGAIN! The owner STILL does have the decency to reach out or return our calls. I went into Stretch Zone for the first time last week and my experience was incredible!! I have been sleeping noticeably better since and feel so much more relaxed. The tension in my back is way way better from just the first session. The appointment itself was a great experience. My stretch practitioner Linda was so kind and had great energy so I instantly felt comfortable and she walked me through everything. I am 84 years old and my range of motion has been diminished over the years. I was lucky to find Stretch Zone, and I was very impressed by the service. The place is well run with very professional and dedicated personnel. They concenrate on the areas that the client feels are in more need. I have been attending for several months, and I have noticed my range of movement has improved a lot. Has already helped me with my golf game as well as my flexibility ever all. i also noticed how well they respect the clients personal time. I'm now officially in maintenance after finishing my first 3 months of full body stretching. The staff are ALL well trained and know exactly what they are doing. Safety is never an issue. The stretching has definitely made me feel so much better! I have more flexibility and range of motion and it helped me to do better in my Pilates classes. Update to the previous review: spoke with Linda (manager) at this location. She made multiple excuses as to why I was not called back to reschedule, had the name wrong with my stretcher and blamed him. When I told her is was a female and gave her name, she then tells me this person was fired. This person was not fired and was transferred to another location. In the end I explained to Linda it would be best to go our separate ways and I want a refund for the session not used. She agree to the amount and then tried to give store credit even after I was adamant that I would never go back. They sent us three emails for the refund, I called because each one had a portion of the total to be refunded. Linda tells me that it is because they charged my card three times when I did the original purchase, explained to her that was not correct and it was one charge. She then states that they are a small business and she will refund how she was trained to refund. A week has now passed and the funds still are not in my account. I will be filing a complaint with the Arizona Corporation Commission as well as a small claim for breach of contract. If Linda wasn't such a rude person, liar and was honest then we would likely still give them a chance; she has lost this customer and I'm sure many others with her attitude. read more
