I was a monthly member here for about five months. When I decided to cancel, I went in person and clearly asked to do so. Instead of processing the cancellation, the front desk employee repeatedly pushed me to put the membership on hold and continued selling me on that option. After spending far too much time going back and forth and needing to leave, I reluctantly agreed to a short hold just to end the conversation. Nothing was signed, and I was told I would be notified before the membership became active again. That did not happen. Two months later, my membership was reactivated without notice and my bank account was charged. I had not used the service and only discovered the charge while reviewing my statement. I returned in person to cancel (again) and was once again met with sales pressure before they finally processed the cancellation. They refused to refund the charge for the unused month, despite the lack of notification. After being a good, paying customer for five months, this experience was extremely disappointing. Billing and cancellation practices are unclear and poorly communicated. Proceed with caution if you sign up. read more

The trainers there were great even after the shake up where all new came in. The problem is their contract commitment that you don't know you are a part of. They make you believe you are signing up for a certain number of sessions and it ends up being like trying to break free of a gym membership. I ended up with a spine injury, not caused by them, but my doctor told me I was done with them. I gave my notice in May that I would not be back and in August I started getting hit with a 'membership' fee. I was told that my membership was not cancelled when I requested it but paused and they were taking another month because I didn't give 30 days notice. I now have officially given my 30 days and if they decide to do this again they will be dealing with the media. They did not consider my medical condition a termination of my membership. They need to clean up their business practices. read more

2nd time at a Stretch Zone but this is my first time at this location. I signed up for Stretch Zone after their free 30-minute stretch session. I was blown away by how tight my muscles were and how stretches can make a difference. The stretch themselves were very good. They were a bit tough for me just because I'm sedentary but the practitioners were very careful and informative. Both sessions I've gone to were great. I feel loose and revitalized after each one. They are offering memberships but I got a package of 3 sessions for $100 instead because I wasn't sure if this is something I want to pursue. One thing great about Stretch Zone is they have those massage capsules that massage your entire body! It's included with the package/membership you get. I used it before each of my sessions and they were a delight! Overall, I would definitely be back! This specific location is closer to me and has longer hours during the week. Love this place. I signed up for 3 months. I came into the Scottsdale location and Lauren was awesome. She explained everything to me and immediately got to work. The method here is that they strap one leg in and then they manipulate and move your hips and legs around in positions you can't get to and really stretch out muscles you can never reach. Ah, it just feels so damn good. Yea so this is in my workout circuit, going once a week and mixing it up with reformer pilates, party yoga and sauna yoga/pilates. Hopefully all this will help to slow down the aging process. read more

Went in for my free session today and it felt great. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and it was clean.

My local Stretch Zone is the Kierland location on Greenway Rd in Scottsdale AZ. My issues are: (1) too much jibber jabber between practitioners that has nothing to do with the client. This has lessened lately. (2) too much turnover of staff - I find one I like and then they go away. (3) I sign up with one practitioner and it gets changed to another for no apparent reason. Sometimes I get notified ahead of time, but not always. (4) Janessa having group lunch around her desk while I wait for my appt. Unprofessional. She is gone now. (5) Last straw - got to my 1 pm appt shortly before 1. The place was locked up. I waited a few minutes outside in 100+ heat. Finally the practitioner showed up and let me in. I don't plan on going back to Stretch Zone. I have asked for a refund for my prepaid sessions. read more

DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT FOR MULTIPLE VISITS!! These places are individually owned and the place I signed up was sold so out of 24 sessions only 10 were transferred to the other location in Scottsdale that the former owner of the original location now owns. Money was taken and contract was not honored. Pay as you go. read more

Not sure if this is owned by the same franchisee as the Summit Scottsdale Road location, but I understand that there are new owners for the Summit location and a few others. Does anyone know why they pulled out their massage chairs? That is one of the primary reasons to go to the location. I even brought in a friend and tried to convince them to sign up based on the chairs. The next time I came in the chairs were gone. Apparently the new owner decided to sell the chairs. When I was there the last time a customer was upset because he said the chair he was promised was sold out from under him. Now I looked at cancelling the contract but it says you have to get a form from the location and get a manager's signature??? Sorry, no bueno. read more

This was my introduction to the world of "stretching boutiques"; admittedly, my expectations were quite small but I went into it with an open mind. I was pleasantly surprised upon meeting Michael both with his professionalism and his knowledge of anatomy. We went over a short questionnaire regarding health history (contraindications/surgeries), before heading to a stretching table. His approach was gentle yet effective, prioritizing mobility over flexibility. He targeted my focus areas, routinely checking in for feedback and was careful not to overstretch or strain the muscles. Upon completion I expected a pushy sales tactic, which never came. He did inform me of the available pricing options/membership opportunities, seemingly without expectation. I booked again for the following week and received the same care. I would highly recommend a stretch session with Michael if your looking to increase your range of motion, increase your circulation, or to decrease joint pain. read more
