From day one, the coaches and members have been incredibly welcoming, encouraging, and genuinely friendly. After just a few sessions, I stopped feeling self-conscious and actually started looking forward to going. The environment is supportive and judgment-free, which makes such a difference when you're getting back into fitness. What I really appreciate is that they truly meet you where you are. Whether you're a complete beginner like I was or an experienced athlete, the coaches tailor everything so you can succeed at your own pace. This anytime fitness is relatively small, but very well organized. I was there after 5 PM and the gym was packed yet there really wasn't a wait for any particular piece of equipment. The staff and trainers at the gym were all very friendly. There was only one unisex shower, but I didn't have to wait for that either. Overall a great gym, which I would visit again when back in the area. I wonder what other healthy activities I can find?

Actually, this particular gym was a cut above others: its shower, though singular, was especially appealing, having a partitioned bathing stall and sliding door, and just a feel of general hominess and comfort that is often absent from public space. Besides being a good gym in other respects, I drew special enjoyment from the discovery of a warm, home-like shower room (a biggie to me, being on the road). I am originally from south Florida and attending classes at oxygen has made Augusta feel more like home. I took my first class in October 2020 and since then I have lost 25 lbs. I highly recommend trying different classes and different instructors - they all bring a different experience to each workout. My mental health is so much better when I'm working out at oxygen regularly. I can really tell how I feel when I stop making it a priority. Luckily they are always doing challenges with prizes that get me to kick it back into gear!!

She makes sure she added educational aspects to the program, which is really important for me. A camp day is divided into various activities. Ms. Spencer also provides the parents a detailed list of how their day is broken down and a weekly itinerary. They play board games, exercise, do arts and crafts, and learn martial arts every day. Specific days of the week they go on field trips----movie theater, splash pad, museum, nature walks, etc. Oh and dont forget Friday show-n-tell. I had my child enolled at the YMCA before I found Greubels. I immediately cancelled my membership when I found out that my son was sitting on the basketball course at the YMCA for the entire day doing NOTHING despite the catalog-list of activities they "sold" me to get me to sign-up. Switching to Greubels was the best decision I made for both my son and I. Greubels has a small child to coach ratio and really works hard to ensure the program is balanced between mental and physical stimulation. They're always looking for new ideas and ways to provide a more creative environment for the children. I'm not really sure about some of the other reviews on here regarding the camp. It's not physically possible for an adult to be doing martial arts from 6:00 in the morning till 6 o'clock at night---let alone a child. I would encourage others to be cognizant that this is CAMP. Kids in camp are supposed to play board games and color and watch movies and just have fun. Some parents should have expectation management--- summer camp is not the place for your child to be the next fighting champion. So, if additional training is important for you, they should have considered enrolling their child in actual classes in addition to what camp offers as many other parents do--- which is even better because you get a discount off camp. My husband and I both work, so finding a camp that has a balanced program and one that offers early drop off and extended pick up hours (without extra charges) is really important. There are not a lot of options out there, which make Greubals really a great place to send my child. They know my name. They know my son's name and we are ALWAYS greeted when I drop my son off or pick him up. Ms. Spencer even remembered my son's bday 3 months after camp had ended and sent us a note to wish him a Happy Birthday. It was so touching! This year there were a lot of birthday parties and all the kids became friends and celebrated outside of camp too. When I pick up my son, he was always so excited to show me the new moves he learned in class and tell me about his day. Greubels has made my son incredibly happy and that is priceless for me. This had been a great experience for the both of us.

The classes are always different and challenging and the progress I have observed, not only in their skill level and strength, but in their confidence is inspiring. In fact, I believe the training at Fierce is the reason my 8th grader had the stamina and endurance to complete the tryouts for HS lacrosse and make the team this past school year. In two years, I have watched my own kids get faster and stronger for their individual sports and I have also watched the "non-athletes" make incredible gains in strength and self assurance.
