Whoever invented a Stretch Lab Bravo to you! AND whoever decided for it to come to Rochester, an even better idea! Props to all! I never heard of a stretch studio let alone gone to one. When I first walked in I smelled a glorious lemon citrus, spa like smell (my favorite). Everything was very open, clean and pristine. All of the beds are out in the open so several people get stretched at the same time in the open. I liked this as opposed to behind closed doors so everyone saw everyone which was nice. You do this fully clothed and are allowed to wear whatever you want - I recommend wearing something lose, because you are being stretched and all! However, they do recommend wearing grip socks - I went in without knowing you needed grip socks and they were very nice and accommodating about it. I was embarrassed w because I was wearing the most stained socks I owned not thinking my foot would be in the Flex ologists face (oops). Savana was very nice about it and didn't say anything at all. Savana was awesome too, beyond her bubbly and friendly personality she was very knowledgeable. She was able to answer the thousand of questions I asked. She did an amazing job of asking what my goals were for my visit and then accommodated the 25-minute stretch to reflect what I was aiming for. She was able to loosen all my muscles (including muscles I didn't know I had). I left feeling taller and more aligned. Savana also gave me some at home stretches to do that will help me achieve my goals until I return again. I HIGHLY recommend anyone giving this a try and seeing if it is for them - a unique alternative to a chiropractor or a masseuse. They have various packages as well to fit anyone's goals and schedules. I give them a 6 out of 5-star rating this is the best One-On-One assisted stretching studio. read more

I stumbled upon the stretch lab through a Facebook ad. I'm horribly inflexible and thought I'd give it a try. Oh my goodness, I love it. Having someone help give you that little extra stretch is fantastic. The team there from admin to flexologists are fabulous. They are so welcoming and I appreciate they take notes and read them before each session maximizing my time there. It is a little pricy, so I don't think I will be going back after my 3 month contract. I completely understand their pricing structure and think it is well warranted. It's just expensive for a long term commitment. read more

Truth: the pandemic messed up my exercise routine beyond repair. It's only now that I'm able to start piecing it back together, and StretchLab is going to play a huge role. You don't think of stretching as something you'd need a designated business for (outside of physical therapy appointments), but let me tell you, it's good to have on hand. I took advantage of a free 15 minute pop up for StretchLab's grand opening. Even in those 15 minutes I could feel a difference. We talked about what I wanted to work on, which for me includes counteracting the desk hunch (you know the one). After it was over, I felt longer and less chair shaped, and decided while I was getting back into things that a once-weekly membership would be good. At my first full appointment for a 25 minute stretch, the first thing we did was a body scan where I did a few squats in front of an iPad app to see where I might need more work than others. I'm usually a little skeptical of this sort of thing, but the scan picked up my busted shoulder and the knee I've had issues with for years instead of me having to say something. Every month, you will get a new scan to see how you are progressing, which is a nice incentive to keep going. The 25 minute stretch was similar to the 15 minute pop up, just with stretches held a little longer. Two things to note: one, bring grippy socks so you don't slide over the table, and two, (most importantly), StretchLab takes FSA/HSA/HRA cards! This was a big selling point for me. If you have a debit card with your plan, it's easy to swipe instead of your usual credit card, and they take those too, of course. I'm thrilled to see all the new businesses popping up around Victor, and StretchLab is a great addition to the area and to my routine. Stretching is going a long way in helping me feel like myself again and I look forward to seeing how it all stretches out. read more

This is truly my favorite Yelp discovery. I got a free stretch some months back in May, and I was convinced to sign up for the three-month membership based on that first stretch. I wanted to wait until I'd used the full membership before writing my review. I was a little intimidated by the price (see pic), but the great thing is that this takes my HSA, and it has absolutely been worth it! I cannot decide if this counts as exercise or relaxation. I started out very stiff and tight, and after coming once a week for 3 months, I really have noticed a difference. I used to feel kinda shakey after the 50 min session (NEVER sore), but now I feel very relaxed and centered in myself after a stretch (is this what people like yoga for?) One thing the have you focus on is relaxing your muscles (takes a lot of concentration, surprisingly), perioperception (The unconscious perception of movement and spatial orientation arising from stimuli within the body itself), and breath control (especially deep breathing from your diaphram). I want to shout out Annette, who has been awesome about communicating what exactly we are doing with each stretch and checking in. I highly recommend giving this a try if you are curious, and if you can at all commit to the membership, you'll definitely benefit! read more

They help you find imbalances and push you to a safe limit to relieve tension and get you flexible.
