We tried this chef-inspired place for dinner during our stay at the hotel-casino…read more.. The place itself had more of a vibe of a hotel lobby than that of a restaurant....a bit too spread out as well? Also, it was too quiet for such a spacious layout. Definitely needed to crank up the music. That can be said of this entire hotel-casino. Possibly catering to senior's finicky sensibilities, but overhead music is very subdued throughout the hotel-casino...and for me personally, it made the place feel a lot less festive. We also had this wonky table, but our waitress tried her best to fix it. In any case, we ordered the Lobster Lollipop for appetizer, a Caesar Salad, and a BBQ Rack with sides...all to share. Well, I can't complain...all the foods were delish. The flavors were rich and buttery. I would have liked to try one of their entrees, but I just wasn't hungry, so we just ordered 1 entree, 1 salad and 1 app to share. It turned out to be good call...as all the dishes had generous portions. Overall, we liked the restaurant. Frankly, the vibe just wasn't that great. Again, the place felt like a hotel lobby. Still, the food and the service was good, and think we'd both be willing to revisit in the future.

Prime Boneless Ribeye was very good. The mashed potato with the broccoli was perfect. However, it…read morewas quite greasy. It was quite heavy but it was good. The butter I suppose made it quite heavier. The servers were attentive and kind. The chairs and the tables were beautiful, the lights as well. I recommend.

Best Bloody Mary! The Bourbon Bacon is like crack and really takes this over the top! You'll be dreaming of this thing after you leave!

Wow, GET the lobster and shrimp fettuccini and you won't regret it!…read moreThat "light" cream sauce was on point. It was exactly as I imagined from the pic. Saucy, yet creamy, and the lobster was bursting with flavor. I couldn't have had this as a better dish in many other places. I think the chefs, whoever they were, were on point tonight! This was a Wednesday. For my "dessert" I had an espresso martini. Also excellent. I don't give these good reviews lightly, but this place was on point! You won't regret this dish. I WILL get it again! The only drawback @brio is your bread, it's too hard. I couldn't mop up my sauce and clean my plate if I wanted to, which I did! But I made it work by "soaking" the bread for about ten minutes before finishing it off. Kudos to you guys. If you're lactose intolerant, it's probably worth the price you'll pay

Fast forward several years, and I realized that they had this place inside the Harrah's Cherokee Casino...just 3 hours away. We wanted to do a quick tour of Cherokee, NC anyway, so this fit perfectly with our plans. Well, this was a nice, lofty version of Bio in Charlotte (but without the authentic patio dining space...I say "authentic" because they did have a fake patio area lol). The menu seemingly stayed the same...and I ordered one of my old favorites, Pasta Brio...and my husband tried their Lasagna. We also got the Fried Calamari. First of all, this was one of the fanciest presentation of Fried Calamari I've seen...and it was quite tasty too, with a good batter. Loved my pasta too...and so did my husband. The only thing that could have been better was the service. Our waitress wasn't bad (quite perky, in fact)...but she seemed a bit stretched thin. I didn't see too many waitresses. Not sure if it was because it was Sunday, but the casino seemed to be thinly staffed in general. Overall, though, we really enjoyed revisiting Brio...and all the foods tasted about as good as we remembered them to be!

I think we made the right decision. Had the prime rib sandwich and it was good size and delicious. The fries that came with it were also very good. When the food came, asked the person for set ups (silverware), he said okay and disappeared, I never saw him again! five minutes later the bartender came over and asked if we needed anything. We said silverware (which should have been obvious). All things considered, I eat here again.

Caesar salad was fresh, homemade dressing but it would have been 5 star but they used pre-made hard croutons . Beef Wellington - perfect cook on it. one problem- after all of the hundreds of episodes of Ramsey - i did not realize that he brushes mustard on the meat (I do not like mustard). My son thought it was great. The potatoes and carrots were tasty and the reduction was perfect . Dessert - The sticky toffee cake - to die for- stick with that !!! Service was great and friendly - was I blown away excited that we finally got to eat at Gordon's - not really but it was a good meal.
