She also found an unusually low stock of leggings (compared to other Dick's) outside of the Calia brand that she doesn't prefer. Again, see comments about athletic females in this county. On the bright side, they're definitely keeping up with the Williamson County lacrosse craze and offer a tremendous variety of equipment in all popular sports for young people (except maybe ice hockey). So at least somebody there is paying attention to what they're selling.

As with most Dick's, they have a solid selection of sportswear and you can usually get a solid deal on good quality athletic and athleisure wear. My only gripe with this location is the service, or lack thereof. On my last two trips in I was looking for something specific and needed assistance locating. Finding an associate that wasn't on the registers was nearly impossible, and when I did spot one, they seemed to scatter when they felt I was going to approach with a question. On both trips, I ultimately just looked, didn't find and left. And oddly on my way out, both cashiers who were not assisting other customers didn't even interact. The store is kept in good condition and is clean on each visit. Always stocked well and easy to navigate. Overall, not the best Dick's experiences.

However, after doing a brief research of nearby places to visit to get advice and pointers on shoes - Fleet Feet was the place I ended up deciding on visiting. I guess it was my high expectations based off of reviews of others, but my visit wasn't all that "amazing/great." I felt like the person that "helped" me during my scheduled visit didn't really help much. I was looking for more of a conversation between the employee so that I can make a more informed decision. By the end of it I walked away with a new pair of shoes that I've been testing for roughly a week and a half, and honestly I'm not moved by it. I felt like my decision was rushed and that no real feedback or guidance was provided. I also wouldn't consider myself as a hard or complicated customer/client - I just asked questions but felt like I was pulling teeth. Because of this, I'll have to revisit for a return and look for an exchange. Felt like my time was wasted but maybe it's just me?

I am acknowledged on the floor and the cashiers are friendly and helpful when needed. Overall, while I did not find the type of vest I was after, I enjoy this location for what it is, and surely will be back when the need arises again!

Extremely disappointed in Dick's Sporting Goods and how this situation was handled…read more My 85-year-old grandmother purchased a pair of CALIA pants and tank top end of September as a Christmas gift after being explicitly told by a sales associate that the item could be returned through the end of January due to the holidays. She relied on that information when making the purchase and, frankly, was taken advantage of due to her age and good faith. When I attempted to exchange the item after Christmas -- brand new with tags and accompanied by a gift receipt -- I was told it was ineligible because it was 102 days since purchase, exceeding the 90-day policy by just 12 days. The store stated there was "nothing they could do." I went in store, used live chat, and escalated via phone, yet no one was willing to help -- not even by offering store credit or a gift card. I was never seeking a refund to the original form of payment. It is unacceptable that Dick's chose to rigidly enforce policy while refusing to stand behind what their own employee told an elderly customer. A 12-day difference should not outweigh basic customer service, especially for a holiday gift purchased in good faith. I am now left with a brand-new item I cannot use and a very poor impression of a company that claims to value its customers.

I have visited this Dick's on multiple occasions for a variety of items from coolers to shoes, to sportswear and even just to walk around and waste time. All visits are pretty standard and I usually find what I need within a reasonable time. They stay well stocked at this location, this along with keeping the store clean, organized and in good condition makes it a decent spot to stop by. I will say the one thing that is inconsistent with this location is the customer service. On my most recent trips in, I have wandered the full store for over 15 minutes each and not once was I spoken to...even when I entered and left the store. And it was not because the lack of staff. They were there, just not interested in assisting I assume. Overall, if they can get their service in line, it would easily be a 5 star shopping experience at this location.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to send the requested documentation because the Comenity Bank website is not allowing me to submit a message; I have attempted multiple times, but the system appears to be malfunctioning. This situation has caused significant inconvenience. Although I made my payment on time, I am now being charged late fees and additional penalties. I will be canceling my credit card account.

We spent some time looking at the many options, and found practically everything we thought we needed: bat, mitt, batting helmet, pants, ball, fielding mask, bat bag. They had lots of cleats too, but we already had some at home. When we went to check out, the man kindly told us we had picked out a t-ball bat, and he went with us to help find a softball bat that would work for my daughter. I appreciated that help in finding what would work well for her. Thank you! I would go here again if we pick up any other sports along the journey.

Popped in on a Saturday morning after shopping online. Figured be best to look in store before purchasing. The store is large and laid out well from a section standpoint. Everything is labeled, easy to find and easy to navigate. The store has seen better days. After walking around, some sections of the store give off "closing" vibes with empty or disheveled shelves and displays, or products on display that definitely need to be replaced. To go along with that, the floors are worn and stained in multiple places, shelving units are in disrepair, ceilings are stained, and more. The store needs some TLC. While I was in store to look at very specific items, I decided to wander the aisles and look for any deals or items of interest. I walked around the store and through each section for over 15 minutes, and passed by no fewer than 12 Associates and not one time was acknowledged or spoken to. Not that I needed help, but it is wild that no one took one moment to greet a customer, not even when I was leaving the store and passed by 4 Associates huddled by the registers. Overall, the store is not a good representation of Academy, or at least the Academy Sports I remember visiting. From condition of the store to service, or lack thereof, this location did not show well. Selection if solid and prices are not the worst, but without that, this would have certainly been a one star review.

We came to agreement on a price and he passed my info to the store. I was contacted by Andy from the store and we set up the sale; everything was fine, but then he called me back and told me he would be worried about it until the treadmill actually reached my house. He told me he had a brand new True treadmill in the store that he could sell me for the close to same price. This meant that I would get the warranty the comes with buying new equipment versus just a 2 year warranty on a refurbished treadmill. And it was BRAND NEW. After a few more questions from me to make sure it would fit my needs, I agreed it would be perfect. I purchased the true PS 300 and it was delivered the following week. The crew came and set it up in my garage and it has been getting used daily for a week now. It is great! The process to purchase the machine was smooth and the salespeople were helpful.
