Service here is great and I'm sure if you know what to order then the food is great too. We had a few things that were a hit and few that were a miss. The main complaint we have is that we wish we'd known there was going to be loud live music. The music was fun but it was SO LOUD. We couldn't hear our waiter or talk to each other the entire meal. Stripes is in a small strip mall and a great little place. We chose it to support small businesses and the fact that it is veteran owned. Tried to eat at Stripes today and I guess the server had other plans. She came by our table with a handle full of dishes from other tables told us she would be right back and never returned. It's a shame because while we were sitting there another couple left also that hadn't been helped by the same waitress. Last night I ordered a to go order with a house salad with fried chicken and ranch dressing. I decided I would bring it to work today for lunch. When I opened it I discovered there was no dressing included in the salad. Not only that but I had ordered a burger for my wife with extra bacon with the bacon extra crispy and extra crispy fries. When the burger came there was no extra bacon and the bacon was limp. The fries also were not crispy. I had to send the burger back and have it re-done. Our first choice was full so we ended up here for our extended family dinner. This is pretty much just a bar, with lots of tables, and an adjoining over-21 game room. The food was uniformly good. I had Shepherds pie - very good. We shared the buffalo chicken dip (very good), cheese sticks, curds and quesadilla. The evening we went they had a live band, which made the noise level a bit much. We have been to Stripes several times in the past 3 years that my son & daughter in law have lived in Gulf Breeze. We have always had bar food - wings, cheesesteaks, nachos, etc - and the food has always been very good. Last time we were there was Chicken Parmesan special night and after I had ordered wings, I saw the chicken parm meals come out to other tables and wished that's what I had ordered. So tonight I decide to get a "meal" and chose the "thick cut smoked pork chop". Thick was a gross understatement! They should have called it a 24 oz pork roast! We were down on a mini vacation and decided to try this little spot out, so glad we did. I loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious! Everyone was super friendly and we enjoyed the whole vibe. Our server messed up our order but she fixed it and had our food out quickly. We enjoyed the band that was playing that night as well. I bought myself a shirt and thermos from their little shop. Update: 4/5 I had some family in town and decided to take them to stripes because I just loved environment of the place and wanted to give it another shot. We had an amazing server and all our food was so tasteful. I'm glad I gave stripes another chance! First review: 3/5 The environment of this pub and grill is amazing! I love the patriotic theme. What a fun place!! We don't live in Navarre, but we visit a lot! This past trip, we found Stripes bar and grill. Definitely a hidden gem! Located in the Publix shopping center, my suggestion is to stop here before or after you do your beach grocery shopping. They have great specialty drinks especially the Appletini, the Check Six (like a rum bunch) and the BlackBerry Martini. If you prefer craft beers, they also have a nice selection. I prefer the Laughing Skull Red Ale and my husband likes the Dragon's Milk which is an imperial stout. Regarding food, I had the Berry salad with grilled chicken, strawberries, mandarin oranges and candied pecans. It was really good but I suggest you ask for more strawberries and mandarin oranges. It is only $1 more and well worth the price. There is not enough otherwise. If you are wanting breakfast, they offer chicken and waffles and nutella French Toast on the weekends. Stripes also has a fun atmosphere. They have a poker night as well as trivia and karaoke nights and they show NFL games on Sunday. read more

Overall they aren't bad food but only if you order in the restaurant. We've eaten there several times and it's great but if you get it to go the portions are NOT the same! Stopped in based on reviews and a friend telling us to check it out. Nice military based restaurant with military decor. We had a short wait- and we seated in a nice booth. Our service could have been significantly better- but our food was great. We ordered cheese curds and Reuben egg rolls to start and both were great. I had the chicken sandwich Buffalo style and it was super juicy and delicious! My husband had the whiskey chicken and said it was great! My sister had the chicken Cesar wrap and it was great. My son said it was a great cheese burger. We would definitely come back- would have given 5 stars had the service been better. read more

i wasn't sure how to write this review so i'm just going to put it how it was. the place is smaller than expected & crowded even without a full place. The food was very bland. i had a grilled grouper sandwich w/ fries and my husband had potato wedges. i'm a local so i know how grouper should taste and this wasn't the best around. The fries were good though. My husband had the potatoes wedges and they looked microwaved honestly. They were dry, bland & had no taste. Other than that the only other complaint I have is they automatically add a 20% gratuity for tables over 6. I guess I can understand being in a tourist location, but i feel that is very excessive for this specific place being a bar and grill and not a fancy restaurant. On top of that our waitress was not worth how much she received from our bill alone. We only ordered the Grouper sandwich, potatoes wedges (which is an appetizer), a high noon seltzer & water and a coors light. Our bill was 66$ (gratuity included) before the tip.
