Absolutely love everything about this place. I have had a few services here and they have all been fantastic. Appointments are easy to make online or by calling. They don't make you wait for your appt. they are very timely. The shop has very cute things to buy from clothing to cosmetics to jewelry to gifts. I could spend a fortune. The place is decorated very hip and modern. It is really clean and bright. Both people who did my services explained everything very well and were gentle and efficient. A few reasons why I love Misty's studio: - it's clean and comfortable, cute decor, and a wax room that feels homey (not like some of those places that feel like an office!) - it's personal! Misty is the owner and waxer. We have great conversation every time I go in. - she does a good job - the price is right. Let's be honest, it's no fun when you go to a salon, sit in a waiting room, get taken back to what looks like a doctors office, and see someone different every time. This place is none of that. Misty also does other services and has product in her studio. I've gotten a lash lift and tint done here now twice and loved that as well. 10/10 would recommend. My first visit for facial waxing today and it was awesome! Misty spent time explaining different techniques for applying makeup and applied tea tree oil to ease my crazy red skin prior to the wax. It was a nice, relaxing experience and I definitely will be back. She listened to my requests and helped to fix a brow mishap from a different salon. Woo-hoo! Misty is such a sweetheart. I had a great experience at Stripped Wax Studio. I was expecting a frankly uncomfortable and awkward experience, but it was anything but. Misty skillfully distracted me with great conversation and made me feel comfortable and confident. Highly recommend! The only thing that keeps me from choosing five stars is that I wish I'd been a little warned about the residue the spray-tan would leave on clothes and sheets shortly after getting it. I probably should have expected this, but as a spray-tan rookie, I was surprised when I was doing my laundry later that day. My clothes were good as new after being washed, so it was not any big deal! I just wish I had known beforehand. I'm not sure if I was dry enough. All in all, however, a great experience, and I would definitely see Misty again for a wax. read more
