Shopping in Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. I'm so happy to see Aunty Shirley again! She used to have a shop on Maunakea Street, next to Cindy's Lei Shop! She's so sweet, organized, efficient, and has a great memory! Now, she has two stalls (both sides of the aisle) at The Marketplace at City Square. Look for her at the end of the building, right before the restrooms! She offered to let me try on some dresses, but I will pass because the prices are so good! One piece is $7 and two pieces total $10! She also has 3 for $10 deals on t-shirts, golf shirts, and children's clothing! Take a look! You might find a vintage Tommy Bahama shirt for $12 or a Cooke Street Aloha Shirt for $10! Parking is free, so come on over!

It's a fashion statement…read more.. Aunty's Ukay Ukay is located in Marketplace at City Square and thanks to Nadine C she showed me that there's this place who had relocated from Chinatown and have found a new home here and you'd never know as it's primarily known to shop for groceries and other relatable items. You just need to walk all the way in the back by the restrooms (which I had no idea they had) and you can't miss her with racks of all types of clothings. A simple set up but the variety for both adults and kids from shirts to dresses I was quite impressed of the choices she has and the prices are just so hard to resist as what makes an outfit is how you present it and with values like this you'd be looking fabulous at a great price. Thank you!

It's been a while but it's still here…read more When a travel companion mentioned that he sought a particular T-shirt design, I immediately thought of this old-time business. We saw the listed address on Yelp and clicked the map to have it guide us here. When we arrived, the location differed from the listed address on the GPS so I called their number. A lady answered and told me that the company indeed moved but that she wasn't there being a Sunday. We agreed to meet Monday late morning or early afternoon. The GPS again led us to their old location so I called her again and she gave me directions. It's about a half mile from their original location. About six minutes later, we arrived a smaller parking lot and found a space there. The lady recognized me and greeted me with a smile. The layout is similar but the space is about a third of what it was at the original location. My friend shopped for shirts for his daughters and learned that one design was no longer being printed as the artist passed. Still, he was able to find shirts to bring home. In speaking with her, she is not there all the time so I highly recommend calling her to make an appointment or confirm when she is there. Thank you, Sophia, and very nice seeing you again.

Our friend had a request for specific t-shirts from Hawaii when we come over for our annual visits…read more We've never seen these designs at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet and since we were there the day before, we did check but no luck. We went to the store at Colburn St. but the signage was not in front on the building as the store did not appear to be there anymore. I called the number and the lady said they had moved to 944 Akepo Lane, but she is currently away from the store and would be back in 30 minutes. The store was about five minutes away located in a similar warehouse building with parking in front. In about 15 minutes, the owner drove up with more shirts in the vehicle and she opened up the store. This location appears smaller, but the inventory was a little organized. T-shirts were folded and stacked on the perimeter and long sleeved were on racks. They also had kids clothing and dresses. I asked if she had current and past Chinese zodiac design t-shirts in x-large. She went to the section and pulled out all the ones she had since they were old designs. Prices ranged from $4 each to 3 for $10 to 4 for $20. After Face Timing my friend, we decided on the shirts he wanted. So we ended getting 5 vintage designs and 2 current design shirts for a total of $47. A great deal. If you're looking for souvenir or gift t-shirts, check out the T-Shirt Store.

Waited in line for our teenage princess who is obsessed with Stussy. The things we do for our kids…read more We got there pretty late, around 7pm. The line was long, but it wasn't that bad (approximately 20 minutes). Once we got in line, we were handed these tickets for entry. The store is cool and the staff is friendly, however the prices were outrageous. My kids bought a total of 4 items (2 shirts, a purse and shorts and the total came out to $300!!!) What in the world?? My daughter was happy she was able to grab one of the Stussy Honolulu shirts, but it was yellow. Anyway, I guess if you're a Stussy person and want the exclusive Stussy Honolulu shirt, this is the place! From what I hear, people line up at 6am to get the Stussy Honolulu shirt in black or white, so I guess that's why the yellow ones were the only ones left at night. Despite the wait, I appreciated the helpful staff and efficient service.

Absolutely one of the worst shopping experiences I've ever had…read more From the moment I walked into the store, no one greeted me or offered any help. Even when the staff could clearly see that I was looking for something and needed assistance, they completely ignored me. What surprised me the most was that the T-shirts displayed on the tables seemed like they weren't even meant to be touched. I've shopped at many luxury brands before, and none of them made customers feel as unwelcome as this store did. Being a popular brand is not an excuse for poor customer service. It honestly feels like they're using "scarcity marketing" to create an exclusive image while treating customers with indifference. Very disappointing experience. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. There are plenty of other brands that value their customers much more.
