I used to come here when I lived in the area. I really loved it, the instructors were great, it was clean, music was always fun and I got a good workout. It's a smaller studio with only 8 pilates machines I believe. I always used to go during slower classes, in the hopes of getting a one on one with the instructor. Felt like a private class. Supportive. Challenging. Fun! I have been going to Stronger Fitness for ~four months now and I can definitely say I love the supportive environment of this studio. I have to admit, I was nervous and intimidated when during my first class-I am not in the best shape, and the reformer machine looked scary, but with the guidance of the instructor, I was able to finish the class feeling accomplished and undefeated. I love that the instructors take the time to guide you, encourage you to listen to your body, take modifications if needed, but also, to put in your all during your workout. It's the push I needed to develop this healthy habit to invest myself in these classes weekly. Four months later and I definitely feel stronger and can hold a plank longer, and do a plank-to-pike, things I couldn't do upon starting. Booked the 5class package. Frustrated because the package expired in less than a month from my first class. They wouldn't extend the expiration even though my last class would only be 2 days away from the expiry date. They said they'll only extend if i bought a new package. They each carry their own unique experience and strengths but they're all equally warm and welcoming. It's a very homey studio, you don't feel out of place if you're new. LOVE Stronger Fitness Studio! Experienced and energetic trainers. Clean studio, brand new machines, fun playlists that keep you smiling through the shakes and a boutique with a wide range of pilates socks (which are now my new obsession) and clothing from local small businesses. I've had personal training, other group classes, but Lagree I feel, is the most effective. The method is not only a workout for your body, but your mind too. I first experienced it when was living in Atlanta (Buckhead) 3 years ago. After returning back to LA last year, I was determined to find a comparable studio. The stars aligned and not only did I find one on par, I found the best thanks to Courtney, who is also an instructor. She posted on Instagram about the new studio last November. I took one class and never looked back. I found my new home. The trainers switch up their routines, so it keeps you on your toes. Sometimes when you know what to expect in a class setting, you zone out. Not here. You are worked. You are challenged and you are cheered on every step of the way. What I also appreciate is the studio welcomes a mix of abilities. Whether it's your first time or your 1,000th on the megaformer, the trainers offer modifications on every end of the spectrum. You leave feeling accomplished no matter what level you are at. Also, this isn't just a workout for women. When I first saw that there was a Lagree Fitness studio opening up near me I couldn't believe my eyes. When I first found out about Lagree this year I fell in love! But the closest place was in Costa Mesa and with gas prices as they are... So I was there as soon as they opened and I have not left. This is a small studio in Los Al, but the Lagree is real and I am feeling it. Meg the owner is so encouraging and welcoming. I love all the instructors I have taken class with, Stacy, Maryann and Alyssa. They are all different but the workout is killer at the end. The reformer has 2 platforms and a carriage. I feel like the weighted springs are heavier than a regular pilates reformer. It looks kinda crazy at first but it's easy to follow along and the more I do it the more I feel the challenge. If you haven't done pilates before, Lagree is a killer workout! Be prepared to grunt, sweat, and tremble during class and feel the soreness for days after your workout. I have been to various pilates places over the years and this one is AMAZING! The pricing and class availability is excellent. I've had 3 different teachers so far and they have all been wonderful. I appreciate the verbal queues and slight corrections in posture while doing the exercises. The correct form is so crucial to targeting the correct muscle groups during each move. Where has Lagree fitness been all my life?! I gave Stronger a try when I saw their studio open in my neighborhood, and I'm so glad I did. I have taken two classes so far and I'm more sore than I can ever remember being after a workout class before. It's a full body workout, you're working arms, legs, abs, back, all at the same time. And the moves change pretty quickly so you don't have time to think about how hard it actually is! Being new to the style there is definitely a learning curve but I can see how it will only get better and continue to be challenging. It's a small studio, 8 megaformers, so the classes will be smaller and you can see and hear the instructions easily. I am excited to go again and keep getting STRONGER! read more

I've never been much for the group working setting but my old routine just needed a change. I figured I'd give it the old college try and if I hate it, I'd go back to the drawing board. If you are new to LAGREE Pilates, don't worry... this is the best place to start!! I took my first class ever here (for free!) and have been hooked since! I've taken classes with all the instructors and they are amazing... so knowledgeable and patient. They are very encouraging and willing to help with any questions or adjustments necessary. Also all the classes are challenging yet fun at the same time. The class music playlists and instructors' positive energy will get you through a tough class each time!!! Classes are for all fitness levels so you can go at your own pace and do what is comfortable for you. They have lots of different class times to fit almost anyone's schedule. In just about 45 minutes you can be sure you'll get an intense full body workout. The Megaformer machines provide excellent strength training! I was hooked from class one! The studio is well kept, extremely clean and I have never been to a fitness studio where every single instructor is AWESOME! I have been searching for a lagree studio in my area for the longest time, and I couldn't be happier when Stronger Fitness Studio opened in November. The studio is always clean & the classes are always challenging but what stands out for me is the fact that the instructors are always accommodating and makes you feel right at home. I have taken almost 50 classes since they opened and I feel like that's a true testament to how much I love the studio. The instructors always provide modifications to accommodate all fitness levels. Stronger Fitness Studio is fabulous! I am super out of shape, and was so excited when I saw a new fitness studio in our area. I'd never taken a Lagree class, but it looked interesting so I signed up for a free intro class. The instructor was super welcoming and helpful during my first class. It is an amazing workout - my abs were killing me for a couple of days after the first class. I've continued going to Stronger Fitness several times per week and really love it there. All of the instructors I've taken - Meg, Maryann, Courtney, Stacy, Alyssa - are patient, knowledgeable, friendly, warm, fun and motivating. This place is great! I am new to using a reformer and all of the instructors are very helpful, welcoming and give clear instructions. Meg was my instructor for the first class. She gives clear instructions, corrects form when needed and a lot of fun! I felt the workout in a lot of different muscles than other workouts.
