Just seeing the parking lot, and ShopRite - no doubt it's got the deadmall feel. Can't miss JCPenney as well, which is bringing some life to it. The main entrance hallway is diagonal, meeting at the intersection with the main hallway and another hallway to the tight right leading to JCPenney. Never seen anything like it. There's hardly anything the mall has to offer, with the movie theater (main attraction), and ShopRite holding the main ground. The food court only has two vendors open, F Italian Pizza, and Natural Vibes Caribbean Cuisine including chickens, and also famous for smoothies and slushies, and others. It is located in The Poconos region of Pennsylvania, just a few minutes from the New Jersey border adjacent to Pennsylvania Route 611 and Interstate 80 exit 305. The mall is one level. The mall has lost it's shopping appeal, do to losing a lot of stores. They have around 5-10 stores and the rest are all closed (due to the pandemic) They have Jcpenneys, Fye, Aeropostale, famous footwear, Spencer's, Clairs,bath and body works, Gertrude Hawks, Auntie Anne's, Cinemax and a Shoprite. This is a really quiet mall, many stores open only at 11am or never.. on the other hand, there's no crowds and it is pleasant to do some peaceful shopping. The movie theater is ok, some stores are ok but nothing super special. read more

I went to JC Penny and the cashier there was rude and disrespectful after I tried to get store credit with the receipt from my friend who said I could exchange it for a different size. I come here for nostalgia sake. We have a vacation home in the area so when I was growing up we'd come here a lot. Unfortunately this mall has seen it's better days. Both the Hess's and the Bon Ton are long gone. There's still journeys shoes and a very old fashioned Bath and Body Works. The JCPenney is still there but I didn't go in. Maybe now that ShopRite is there the foot traffic will increase. But for now, head up the road to the Crossings. read more

This is a great mall, however it is the only mall in this area. There is a movie theatre, a huge ShopRite supermarket and when I say huge I mean it's the biggest supermarket I have ever seen or been in. They have a lot of great stores so you can catch a movie then do some shopping then go get what you need from supermarket. The great thing is that their are several restaurants too, so grab dinner on the way to the movies with the family, oh they have the BEST Hallmark I have ever been in, they have a great inventory I wanted to buy everything. This mall is very clean and well organized. The parking lot is huge so there is plenty of parking spaces and the bathrooms were very clean. A great place to come with family, friends or yourself. read more

I remember going to this mall in it's better days. The only thing that is holding this mall up is the movie theater! So many of the anchor stores had now closed and there is barely any stores open. When I visit PA, I only go to this mall to go grab some Gertrude Hawk. Honestly this mall needs to shut down and revamped someway. There needs to be something better here!! read more

Sadly this mall is better than other ones in the state of PA, but still, nothing great. The parking area is pretty crazy and it's thanks to the grocery store that's attached to the mall. Mall? More like a small assortment of stores within a larger building - but to call themselves an actual mall? I think not! This place is tiny. I saw a JC Penny's, Justice, a game store, a jewelry store, shoe store, a movie theater, and a few other retailers not worth remembering. The highlight of our visit was the small assortment of ride on video games for little kids, but at a dollar a pop, we were lucky if they even ran a minute a piece. The food court was even more pathetic. Selections consisted of Chinese, a gyro place, Subway, and a pizza joint. There was a nice display for the Easter bunny but he wasn't present at the time of our visit. A positive was the bathroom was clean. We came here to kill time in an area we found to be very depressing with nothing to do. The mall did little more than eat up a half hour. I feel sorry for the locals! read more

Small and oddly shaped. Not shopper friendly at all. You should know what you want in here before you go because It's definitely not a place for "window shopping". I think they have Bon-Ton and JC Penny or Sears Department stores. It's really just not worth the trip. read more

I hate coming to the mall after a long night of drinking because I always end up on the shitter spray painting the toilet bowl just as I'm doing now. What makes it worse is at this time of year is that it's at it's busy season so there's a lot of traffic in and out of the bathroom and guys gagging as my wall of horrific stank smacks them in the face. This mall sports a pretty good movie theater, an FYE, and a pretty good book store. There used to be more here, but a few stores have closed and haven't yet been replaced by anything. Still, it presents a decent shopping experience with the stores that are still there, and you can find some pretty good deals that you won't get anywhere else. read more

Well its down to one star now and they should change the name from Stroud Mall to Stroud Shopping center due to lack of retail establishments. Both the Bon Ton and Sears are gone. The only Anchor left is outdated JC Penney's and I honestly don't know how that store stays in business with the overpriced and unstylish and frankly doofy clothes they sell. The Bon Ton will be replaced by a Shoprite Grocery Store. The Sears space for now an empty abandoned shell. But hey they have a beauty school and a movie theater if thats supposed to be a plus. The food court is a joke but on the upside I have seen on more than one occasion families ordering pizza bringing in balloons a cake and having a kids birthday party there and why not plenty of empty tables and great price for families on a tight budget. The recession has hit this mall hard plently of closed stores. Each store seems to have their own set of rules. Employees walking out shutting gtes talking to the other shop keepers WTF? I lived in the area for 8 years. The mall had some minor stores coming and going but it has really come back. The new movie megaplex is incredible. Huge screens with comfy rocking chairs. Still has 3 large anchor stores. Very clean and plenty of parking. Small food court but 2 large restaurants within walking distance. read more

A few good stores, but the mall itself needs a good overhaul. Felt like the old bergen mall in northern NJ before they renovated. Highlight of the mall is the FYE. Probably the most complete fye I've been to since a bunch of them closed down. Plenty of hard to find merchandise and everything is stocked well with lots of items on sale. Theres also a gertrude chocolate store, movie theatre and sports store. A lot of stores were closed/abandoned. Next time I'm in the Poconos, hopefully there are some new stores. read more

I used to go to this mall quite a bit when I lived in Blairstown. Since then many store have shut down and the aging movie theater will become a Cinemark megaplex with digital kitsch. There are better shopping centers out there, such as the Crossings, so avoid this mall. read more

If you are thinking about renting a store or space at this mall...don't think. Sales revenue per sq. foot is extremely low. Rents are obnoxiously high. Management is rude, and the only traffic is teenagers with no money, loitering around screaming profanities,shop-lifting and getting into fist fights. Security is a joke. Most of the good stores have closed down. The anchor stores consider the location as Tier-III and have the lowest quality merchandise. Its unlikely the proposed new movie theatres will improve the class of customers. read more

This is one of my favorite places to shop in, I LOVE their movie cinemark, their Dairy Queen, their Subway and other cool stores like Spencers, FYE, etc. FYE has movies/anime sets that usually can only be found on Amazon for good prices. My only complaint for FYE is the new woman who owns it has a pretty bad attitude. My only other complaint is they took out the McDonalds, and Pizza place and have a pretty limited food court with only a Dairy Queen (Ice cream only) Subway, Chinese place and I think a Mexican food place. Stroud Mall has a great movie theatre, the only Hallmark Shop, which has Vera Bradley, and the only Victorias Secret around. Plus a good assortment of places for kids clothes. There's several places to eat and a great coffee bar. It the only enclosed center so you can be comfortable and out of the weather whole you shop. read more
