I had a few tasters at the Ontario art festival this last weekend. It's been a while since I've had beer this bad. I had a taste of an ipa that was too bitter and unbalanced and a lighter beer that the guy described as light with a citrus taste. It did have a citrus finish but also a plastic boozy finish. I couldn't drink it and threw most of it away. Super unimpressed. There are a ton of breweries in the area, no clue why anyone would go here twice. read more

Support local businesses! We have visited Strum Brewing twice and have enjoyed both visits. Each time we go, there are a few different options which makes it a cool visit to try something new each time. They also have games available to play, chips at 50cents, an outdoor patio, trivia night (Wednesday's @ 7:30) and a cat! Vibe inside is very homey and staff are friendly and informative about the beer and are great at giving suggestions for what you might like. Flights are $9 and glasses are about $6. Good people, good music, good vibe. The beer varies - sometimes they have beers I really like, other times theyre not to my personal taste, but the ones they have are always interesting. We enjoyed trying out the instruments on the wall, petting the house cats, and playing some of the games. We're looking forward to coming back for open mike night. This brewery looks like a man cave/ garage. It's basically really sloppy and random. I tried 4 beers and not a single one was great. I guess if I have to pick one, the coffee blond is the better choice. I don't recommend this place at all. They really need to work on their beer. I'm guessing all the reviews are from close friends and family because they do not match. read more

Cool brew house. If you like Sour beer this is the place for you. Very tasty beer with cool taste combinations. Our favorites where the Pomegranate Sour and the Mixed up Track 5. Awesome on a hot day. read more

The decor is completely random with guitar amps in one corner and xbox360 in the same corner. It feels like someone's garage, which isn't a bad thing but something to be aware of. The outdoor patio is spacious but overall, it feels inconsistent with the interior. The two beers i had (pale ale and ipa) were extremely malty. I'm not sure if that's their style or if they messed up on the recipes but they weren't what i expected. Perhaps I'd try something else next time but I'm not sure if I'd come back. It's not a bad place to grab a beer after work but I wouldn't make this a regular spot. Come by and try if you're local but not worth the drive (and the parking situation) if you're not local. read more

I had to check this out due to the high ratings on Yelp, but an average of 5-stars??? C'mon, either the patrons posting are family and/or friends or I went to the wrong location. This place is a garage, no seriously... the outdoor patio with a Charbroil Grill is okay, but it probably resembles your own backyard, so I didn't find it to be as hip as some posted reviews. Parking is a challenge and the train noise is at times uncomfortably deafening. Sorry with so many options in the area, I find this place hardly a 2-star location. read more

My fiancé, brother in law and I went here for the first time yesterday. We love supporting local breweries and this one was on our list to go. We follow them on social media and seemed like a cool spot to go to. We showed up and yes looks like a house which we expected and by reading the reviews we thought they have a wide variety of beers but only about 5 or 6 beers on tap. I got the stout, my fiancé got the rye IPA and my bro in law got the hibiscus wheat. The beers were ok, I felt like they could be better. The owners just helped us with the beers and didn't bother conversations with us. We were the only ones there I don't know if they thought we were too young to have a conversation with or what but I feel like they could have had better customer service. I may have to give them a try again but we will see. read more

Great craft beer! (I always go with a flight to taste them all first). Unmatched customer service (from the owners themselves). Usually there are locals to chat up. Strum Brewery is a diamond in the rough, if you ever come across this brew house you will be amazed by not only the delicious brew but also by the hospitality of a family of 3 who is brings a great vibe to the your experience. This is not your average pop up brew house, the beer is brewed in a small structure around 100 years old converted into a spectacular brewery that does not have the feel of a brewery (in a good way). This brew house has the feel of a exotic location only locals would know about. I have been to many breweries and this one has topped them all in authentically brewing beer for the love and joy of others to enjoy. They have a local come in every Tuesday night and perform live music from a large selection of music. One of my favorite experiences here was when their son Jackson let the dog out accidentally and the father chased the dog around till he snatched the pup up and placed it back behind the brewery. This brew house is the definition of a family brewery. Many new costumers come through in discovery of great brews and great company from the owners. Never seem to see a disappointing new face. The must try brews here are Impy The Red and the SBC Imply The Red 7.6% ABV- Great redish brown color A bit nutty Dry to the right amount. SBC 5.2% ABV- Almost like a delicious juice sour orange juice Sour but sweet like a sour patch kid read more

When we went they only had two beers on tap which tasted awful. The establishment looks like someone gutted a convenience store and everyone brought a piece of furniture from home for seating. First time here, great selection of beer covering the sweet to sassy. They even have a great selection on the IPA side. You cant go wrong with fee peanuts and beer. It's now going to be a regular stop. read more

I haven't been to a craft brewery yet that I wasn't a fan of. Strum has a nice, large and furnished outdoor area which is great here in Southern Cali. The beers I tried were tasty and being that this was my first trip here, I didn't try them all (not a fan of flights. Go all in I say!!). Looking forward to coming back. read more
