If I could give Strut the Pup 10 stars I would. My two dogs would probably give them 20. Several months ago I was sidelined with a chronic illness and was no longer able to walk my very active dogs. Strut the Pup stepped in and really saved all of us. We began with daily walks, which my dogs absolutely love. They come home tired and smiling every day. Meghan, Tom, and Matt have gone above and beyond to take care of all of us. I look forward to their visits as much as the dogs. The detailed reports they leave afterwards make me feel like I was on the walk myself. I always know exactly how my dogs spent their day. Both of my dogs are rescues and had some existing behavior issues. They were not adjusting well to their Mom being sidelined, so we began behavioral training with Diane. 2 1/2 months later and my dogs have been truly transformed. I get compliments on their behavior both in my home and around the neighborhood. It's absolutely amazing. Strut the Pup has been a lifeline for our pack. They have bandaged boo-boos, helped carry in dog food, done last minute overnight visits, and provided an endless amount of TLC. They are easy to reach and do a great job with scheduling and last-minute needs. Their pricing is very reasonable for the quality of service they provide. I cannot think of one thing to criticize, and would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

We've been so fortunate to have Einat and her team taking care of our dog Rookie since he was a puppy. We have had Annika as our primary walker for over two years. We feel so fortunate to have had her!! We started using them when Rookie was only 3 months old, and their puppy package was perfect for a nervous new pet parent. Our dog Teddy has been going on twice-weekly off-leash park adventures with Strut the Pup since February and Teddy and me and my husband love this service. We get a photo of Teddy having a blast at Magnuson Park every time he goes out with the pack, and a little description of what Teddy did at the park, too. The pack is led by the same person every day, and he is phenomenal with dogs - Teddy can be skittish with strangers, but when the pack leader came to our house for a meet and greet, Teddy immediately was put at ease and surrendered for a belly rub. It is so convenient to have Teddy picked up for an adventure while I'm at work, and wonderful to be able to trust that he's in good hands. Strut the Pup was the perfect service in every way! It was close to Thanksgiving when I realized I would need an in-home pet care service for my shy, gentle dog Talah. I sent them an email and they responded quite quickly and had availability. The guy who came over was friendly and responsible, and was great with my dog but didn't push her out of her comfort zone. He stayed overnight at my house for three days while I was gone and sent me text updates while I was away (which is always a great relief), as well as leaving a 'Daily Report Card' with comments. We needed someone to stay with our 9 yr old Akita/Border Collie who has some detachment issues while we were on vacation for 6 days. I guess it really is true that you don't know what you have until it's gone. I used Strut the Pup until I recently moved to an area they do not service and had to hire another company. When I used STP I never had any doubt that my dog was well taken care of - I knew exactly who was walking her and even had daily report cards to come home to. The owner of the company met with me and introduced me to the walker who would be looking after my dog. If there was ever a conflict with scheduling, STP would immediately let me know who the replacement walker would be. I always knew that my dog was well taken care of and loved. Now, comes the new dog walking service, who we will call DOTH. I guess the owner was too busy to meet with me personally but he sent an adorable girl who I was told would be my walker. She seemed like a good person and my dog really liked her so I hired the company. After a couple weeks, I asked if the walkers ever left notes, to which I was told that if I left a pad of paper out, they would be happy to leave daily notes (which pretty much consist of whether she pooped and/or peed). The kicker was one day when, unbeknownst to DOTH, I was home when some random man showed up at my house to walk my dog. I sent him away and emailed the owner my concern that I thought the person I met with would be walking my dog. Even after expressing my displeasure, I come home to daily notes obviously written by different people. I always knew I had a gem in STP but never knew the extent until experiencing what else is out there! I would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone. read more

I can't recommend Strut the Pup highly enough! We were nervous about someone walking our anxious new rescue dog but from day one Strut the Pup put us completely at ease. Everyone we worked with at the company was responsive, great to work with, knowledgeable, and clearly cared about our dog. The personalized attention was hard to beat; any changes to our dog's schedule was quickly communicated by the owner, who clearly cared about each detail of the business as well as each and every dog. Having one consistent walker, who was attuned to our dog's idiosyncrasies and challenges, was great for building her confidence. It was such a relief to know she was in familiar hands, and how much our walker cared about our dog came through in every daily walk report that was sent. We also did sessions with Strut the Pup's trainer, which were hands-on and personalized to our dog's unique needs. These greatly helped her skills, her confidence, and with overcoming her fears. Due to changes in my schedule we no longer need walking services but would quickly go back if that changed, and I would certainly recommend Strut the Pup to anyone looking for dog walking or training services in the Seattle area! read more

We have been using Strut the Pup for about 6 months and have nothing but positive things to say. I have used Strut the Pup for over three years. Prior to using them, I had used other dog walking services and thought they were good. However, Strut the Pup is spoiled all the others. They are responsive, take great care of the dogs and I could not recommend them more highly. They give you daily "report cards" on your dog which I look forward to reading every day. Meaghan, Tom, Drew are all great - very responsive. I cannot imagine any better. These guys are as good as it gets! I hire them every time I go out of town to watch my 2 kitties, and they are great. They always send the same person (Erin!) so she knows where everything is and what my routine is. They stay for 30 minutes each visit so you know that your pets are getting love and not just fed, and they will email you updates if you want them to. When I return home my cats act as if I never left, and there is always a nice note on the counter about the sitter visits. I've had many good experiences with them and will continue to call on them when I need to go away. read more

Strut the pup is the best! I started using them when my pup was just 4 months old, and am so glad I had them while going through the puppy phase. Their puppy package was perfect for a nervous pet parent like me, who was afraid to leave a puppy home alone while I has at work all day. I love that they have a meet and greet visit to get to know your pup, and they asked all the right questions about my dog and her habits so I felt totally safe trusting them with my fur baby. Her walker (Annika) is amazing, and always sends a cute picture and a detailed description of how the visit was. They have also been really flexible with my last minute schedule changes, and were even kind enough to send a walker last minute when I accidently cancelled my dogs walk (oops). They also took great care of her while I was at work after she was spayed, which very helpful. Overall a fantastic experience, and they are definitely worth the extra money! read more

Tom and Todd have been helping us with our 2 new puppies since we brought them home several weeks ago. It has been rough (ruff) going with potty training and bouts of illnesses on behalf of pups and Tom and Todd have been there through it all, giving us words of advice (which we asked for:)), recommendations and even taking a pup to the vet when she needed to see a doctor asap. They leave great detailed notes every day so we can see exactly what has happened and what was done. They are helping us to train the pups and teaching them to walk on leashes. Because of this company we can be 2 full time working professionals and still have pets without the guilt of leaving them home alone for 10 hours at a time. read more

The Strut the Pup team is amazing. The owner is very involved and supportive of her pack leaders. I have a 6 year old German Shepherd (Enzo) who LOVES his pack leader, Jennifer, and his park excursions 3 days a week. Jennifer goes above and beyond to make sure that he is safe, happy, and exhausted. When he first started with the group he would run so hard that he would tear up his pads. Jennifer noticed the tears and cleaned/wrapped his paws when she brought him home. His paws have since toughened up, but her attention to his individual needs probably saved me a few trips to the vet. Enzo has other quirks that might make other dog walkers boot him from the group... for example loves to chase/herd the waves along the shore of lake Washington. So much so that when he is called to leave he just decides to go for a swim and will refuse to get out of the lake. Jennifer does a great job navigating his stubborn streaks. I also really love the daily write up and picture included with every dog park visit. It is so fun to see the pups romping around together. read more
