I had planned on packing my watches and wearing my wedding ring. My wife packed her gold jewelry and most expensive things, herself. They started scooping things up, indiscriminately tossing everything in boxes. I realized they had packed my hearing aid charger but it was too late to recover it. They had already packed all of my jewelry before I could stop them. I had to buy a new one. When our stuff was delivered we realized things were missing. We made a claim, they offered us a small amount. Now I have to sue them for the value of our missing valuables.

I just found a chunk of a leg of a dresser broken off and hidden in a drawer. My beautiful Oak Rolltop Desk will never be the same. He bent the glides on the drawers and just shoved it back together. He took the entire desk apart, when there was no reason to do so and the desk is now permanently damaged. The doors on our china cabinet were taken off and he had to come back to try to repair that as well. The doors still do not open and close smoothly and evenly. Don't even try to get him on the phone. He hides behind his assistant/girlfriend Michelle. Be smart, avoid this company like the plague!

Our move included a dining room set and a baby grand piano. When the crew reached the piano, they realized they didn't have the proper tools to remove the legs. They called for assistance, but the second set of tools didn't work either. After time continued to run, we were told the piano would have to be rescheduled because the crew needed to get to their next job. We paid $666 of an approximately $800 quoted move, yet the piano wasn't moved. Later that day, the company sent a new estimate of $450 to move only the piano. Although they waived the travel fee, they still expected us to pay additional labor costs resulting from their own lack of preparation. I contacted customer service several times and even offered to split the additional cost. There was no flexibility and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience of having to rearrange our schedules for a second appointment. The movers were courteous throughout the process, so my disappointment is with management's response--not the crew. Mistakes happen, but how a company resolves them matters. In this case, I don't believe a loyal, repeat customer was treated fairly. Unfortunately, after three moves with this company, I won't be using them again.
