I am so happy I found Studio 348 Personal Training for Women. I am sure it's extended my life 20 years! This program is a life changer, in nine months I reduced 20.75 inches, down 55.6 pounds and 12.7% body fat. I'm down 6 dress sizes and my blood pressure, cholesterol are in the normal range, Whoo Hoo!!! THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!! to the entire team at Studio 348 team in Marietta, GA. This is one fantastic talented and caring group of Personal Trainers and the wholistic program provides a combination of workout (30 minutes of weight training and 30 minutes of interval cardio), food program and accountability that I have NEVER experience before. I walked into Janey Walker's workout studio, Studio 348, early September 2015, middle aged, overweight, stressed and prime for diabetes or a heart attack. I had not been to a gym or done any sort of workout in at least 2 or 3 years. Jake Littlefield, welcomed me and we met one-on-one, and set weight, meal plan and workout goals. During the first few weeks they emailed and sent me videos reinforcing the program and how to plan my meals. The meal plan is very balanced and Oh yes, you get a FREE day to eat whatever you want (within reason). And because we eat so often I don't get as hungry as other programs. Studio 348's team never stops helping you achieve your healthy habit goals and keep the weight off. The Trainers hold you accountable and they are there to coach you through all phases of getting in shape and losing weight. Getting on the scale each week is a strong motivator but it's not enough for me. The Trainers ask us how much protein and water we consumed the day before. We use a great APP to track our food and if you are not meeting your goals they will review your eating habits and provide very helpful suggestions including recipes. The Trainers take time to understand your limitations so that your workout plan is customized to your ability and as you improve they WILL challenge you to work harder. I feel a real sense of accomplishment when I leave my workouts. Each week is a different workout focusing on lower and upper strength, balance and toning. I never get bored of the same old routine because they change them up every week. The Cardio interval training on treadmills or elliptical is ideal. I chose 1 hour, 4 times a week and YES, it is worth it! Additionally, you get to work out with 4 women with one Trainer. We encourage each other and have a great time. This set up is more reasonable than trying to find a one-on-one personal trainer. Lastly, Janey and her team go beyond what I have mentioned above. Janey facilitate a book club. A book we recently read was "Mindless Eating" and they have had clinics on nutrition, stretching and even how to dress your best. Janey, Jake, Leon, Suzanna, and Gerald are amazing professional Personal Trainers. They are all certified Personal Trainers and they live the program themselves. I absolutely love Studio 348 and highly recommend it as an excellent place to work out and achieve overall fitness and health. I have lost pounds, inches and have gained strength, energy and stamina. Now in the best shape of my life, I am happy and healthy and feel fantastic! Forget the fact that they have the best personal training rates in town--I am so impressed with the program and support offered by Studio 348. This is exactly what I was hoping for when I joined, but the program has far exceeded my expectations. I really enjoy the way the fitness component is tailored to drive me to reach my goals. The weight training exercises change from week to week, keeping my body and my mind from getting bored. Following up the weight training each session with High Intensity Cardio Intervals pushes me to challenge myself, and I leave knowing I have gotten a complete workout. I continually feel challenged and look forward to what each week will bring. The trainers really know their stuff and make working out fun, even when I'm getting my butt kicked! When I joined studio 348 in August 2021 I was at my highest weight and struggling physically and mentally to get back into taking care of my health. From day one, the wonderful trainers here made me feel welcome and comfortable. Through their knowledgeable and individulaized training, I was able to regain confidence and lose all the weight I had gained during covid! One of the first things epilepsy took from me when I was diagnosed in 2017 was my strength. Now I am back working out and little by little I'm getting stronger. I'm feeling more and more like myself again. My balance has improved and it's all thanks to their amazing training! They helped me push through the tough days. I first tried Studio 348 with a friend who invited me to join her for a four week weight loss challenge. We each lost five pounds and won the competition. I had slowly been putting on weight that I could not lose with previous methods that had worked for me. These are my people! I have suffered several injuries throughout my adult life as a weekend warrior, especially cumulative injuries from sprained ankles. I have repeatedly reinjured myself trying to be exercise on my own. The "19 lbs" I gained during Covid-19 hasn't helped much either... The trainers here give each lady personal attention and modifications so she can get active without injury. This place is great for me because I need someone to hold me accountable. The trainers consistently help me with my nutrition and make sure I'm eating healthy. I can't say enough about Janey and her team of trainers. I had multi level lumbar fusion surgery in Aug 2017, and I couldn't wait to be cleared to return to the gym! I am receiving individualized training that is adapted to my needs. I am working to add the nutrition component that they put so much knowledge and effort into.
