The shop has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with unique décor featuring photos of the local community and its history, which gave it a lot of character. There are several seating options, including high-top tables for two, lower tables with four chairs, and bar seating. The menu offers much more than coffee--they also serve sandwiches, ice cream, and other drinks. We ordered the Southwest Chicken Quesadilla, which came with a side of salsa, and it was absolutely delicious. To drink, we had the Raspberry Cream Soda and the Detox Water with strawberries, lemons, blueberries, and cucumbers. Both were refreshing, and the detox water was especially good. The background music was just right--not too loud, making it easy to enjoy a conversation. The shop was spotless, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The ladies behind the counter were welcoming, and the gentleman who prepared our food did an outstanding job. This was the perfect way to wrap up our visit to the area. We left with full bellies, great conversation, and a wonderful last stop before hitting the road. Outstanding service! We were seated and the hostess took our drink orders. My wife wanted orange juice and she said they were out of OJ. We placed our orders. While we were waiting for our orders, the hostess came back over to tell us that they just got some Orange juice in. My wife ordered it and it was delivered a short time later. My wife liked her multi-grain pancakes. My omelette was good as were the new potatoes. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy had a very nice hint of black pepper in it. Sanders is owned by a couple and operates out of a small shop right off the highway. Sanders Coffee + Co. has all your basic espresso and coffee drinks plus a few of their own creations. They also have a variety of pastries, shake and smoothies. I typically order a latte and it is always made perfect for my long drives. Sanders uses Press Coffee beans and I have always been a fan of their products. I have only ordered a pastry with my drink on a couple of occasions. The Malasadas and Cinnamon Rolls are pretty good. The shop itself is cozy with couches and tables to relax at and a few merchandise items for purchase. The parking lot can be tight on busy weekends. Overall, this is high quality coffeeshop to stop at if you are passing through Heber-Overgaard. The staff is friendly and I always enjoy supporting a local business. The order line can be a little long on busy days.

It was nice of them to ask if I wanted the pastries warmed up, they use a microwave to do so. The cinnamon roll was delicious, nice buttery bottom and perfect amount of icing. The blueberry muffin was a miss for me, not enough sweetness in the batter so the muffin was very bland and lacked much blueberry flavor. For coffee, I tried their local and squatch from their specialty lattes. Their espresso was smooth and not bitter, but the latte itself was lackluster. They both did not have enough syrup, very mild in flavor and mostly espresso forward. If you are looking for bold flavors, you won't get that here.
