The dancers all seemed to know exactly what to do, so maybe everyone is used to how things go, but we didn't like that there was no lead for first-timers. Kind of seemed like no one cared to see us in, or out. So we left and never came back. There was one TV monitor where you watch each class on a square on the monitor (4-6 squares on one screen) and a small space where you have to fit in with all the other waiting parents and siblings.

We can automatically tell the difference in passion and customer care he genuinely sounded caring and professional!! On the day of our trail our daughter was super excited and eager to dance just walking in we felt welcomed!! The receptionist on duty when we walked in ( I'm so sorry I forgot her name) was super sweet and informative she again helped with any concerns or questions we had. She also invited us in to see a class that was already in session to give us a preview of what we could expect. Our daughter's class that day consisted of only two other dancers which in all honesty was perfect for a trial, her instructor was able to really work with her and get to know her personally. She was so sweet and caring to our daughter. We could not be happier!!! After class we went in and introduced ourselves to her and asked her opinion on how the trial went she had all positive comments and invited us to trial her Saturday class because she felt it would be a better fit for our daughter. That to me was everything!!! She showed genuine interest in our daughter's success with the studio!!! We never felt pressured to sign a contract or pay to save a spot and that is what makes this place a true Gem!! They are very true to there advertised "family environment" all staff was beyond kind and sweet to my Mimi dancer and my little 7 month cheering on his sister. To see him perform with the biggest smile made me cry. He was confident and was so excited about the show. On our way home he decided he wanted to continue!!! His words " mom , Miss.Jack believes in me. I want to take her class , I can do it " He's doing amazing. She knew how much he did want to take her class and encouraged him. I can't wait to see him on stage in June for the summer showcase. I also want to give a shout out to the parent volunteers.They're very helpful, it was so nice to hear from them how Andrew has grown so much in theater. Another shout out to Kyle , the front receptionist for being helpful and answering my million questions haha. Us parents don't just cheer for our kids we cheer for all the kids. I am thankful I found Valverde. They have help mold my son in this confident , happy , positive young performer. Can't wait to see him continue growing in theater !! So this wasn't a mismatch of expectations on my end. My review wasn't really about the difficulty of the stretches themselves. It was about not being greeted, being separated from my belongings while other students kept theirs, and receiving zero pacing or accommodation as the one new person in a room of regulars ,to the point that I got injured and had to decline several exercises. That's a different issue than "wrong class level". I would've appreciated a refund as only 1/4 classes were attended due to feeling uncomfortable with environment. I won't press the issue though, you all be blessed!

But once we settled in, we noticed something incredible. People are naturally competitive, and when there's no healthy outlet for that, it often turns inward--leading to unnecessary tension and hurt feelings within a studio. Here, competition is used in a positive, uplifting way. It brings everyone together, builds teamwork, and creates an environment where dancers genuinely support and cheer for one another. We love all the teachers here. My daughter has had the pleasure to learn from Miss Sarah, Miss Mackenzie, Miss Randi and Mr Ryan.
