The studio is beautiful, they have SOOO many options, and they treat their brides so well!! Went with my granddaughters wedding party entourage and my daughter to shop for a wedding dress for her wedding in October. I'd never been here before so of course I checked out Yelp reviews ahead of time to get an idea what to expect. I saw many reviewers were disappointed you can't take your own pictures here of the bride in her dresses. They take pictures for you but unless you purchase a dress you don't get them. Anyways I'm ahead of myself! I went with an open mind and we had a great time! We were greeted by Ava and shown to a waiting area until all our party was there. She explained some rules and it did include no pictures but they take them for you we were told. I did take a couple of the inside because it's really beautifully decorated. There are many racks of dresses which my granddaughter went through and put little close pins on the ones she wanted to try on. I believe she was given 5 or 6. We were then taken to a sitting area and given either champagne or non alcoholic drinks. They had little poufs of cotton candy on top we could mix in. This was a fun start to our time and Ava took a picture of us with the bride to be with our drinks. Then she was whisked away by Ava to try on dresses. Long story short my granddaughter fell in love with the first dress (but tried on 5) and said "yes to the dress!" We were so happy and as a finish took one last picture as a group. What can I say?! This is the one and only place I looked at wedding dresses and found the one! You do need to make an appointment to dress shop but they make it very special! The inside is beautifully decorated I wish I could show it! They don't allow you to take your own pictures and only take front and back pictures of the dresses you try on so you can look back and help decide. Everyone in my bridal party got a glass of champagne topped with cotton candy. The appointment time is only 1.5 hours long and does require a $150 deposit for the appointment (that will come off the price of your dress if you buy the same day.... If not your out $150) I really did want to do the special pick up appointment they offer but unfortunately it's only done Monday-Wednesday and most of my family/friends come from Sacramento so I wasn't able to do the candle lit social viewing and just did the 'cotton candy' pick up. I ordered my dress end of October and it was ready end of February for pick up. I will go back for my alterations which the lady suggested I do 6-8 weeks before my wedding date. read more

We were offered a glass of complimentary champagne or sparkling juice. We were shown into the studio and it was immaculate. We unfortunately could not take photos while there. I'm really sad to come back on here and have to update my review after finding my dream dress here. However the experience I had with the dress pick up was completely unacceptable- and after reaching out to the shop and waiting for my concerns to be addressed for over a month from the ordeal I'm not sure what else there is to do. I was incredibly excited for my pick up appointment, I ended up getting sick on the day of and the studio graciously rescheduled me for a last minute appointment. They even made the appointment outside of their normal business hours, which I was appreciative of this as I flew into Reno for this event. However, I was met with a lack of sincere personalized attention the day off which leads me to feel they should never have offered this customized appointment time. The staff member that was at this appointment appeared disinterested, in a hurry to leave, and lacked knowledge about the selection of veils and hair accessories the store offered. We were told that there would be champagne at the "dress reveal", as they call it, and there was not. We had to request to try on hair accessories, which seemed to inconvenience the staff further. I had asked about desired dress alterations, and was assured I would receive a scheduling link and follow up from the alterations staff but there was none of that. This seemed incredibly weird after having spent thousands of dollars on my dress here. I appreciate the concept of being unplugged and in the moment, so I didn't mind the policy of not taking pictures. However, at my first appointment in November there were profession level pictures provided. After this appointment, I received blurry/low resolution photos- which I had to follow up with the staff and request they were emailed over to me after being told I could not get them the night of. When I addressed this concern with the shop leadership, there was not an apology for the quality of the photos, rather a "I'm sorry if you are unhappy with the candid pictures". I don't think any bride would be happy with receiving dim-lit, grainy photos after being denied of taking pictures. I invested significant time, trust, and financial resources into finding my dream dress and expected the shop to provide transparence, open communication, and proactive solution. The last communication I received from the owner was that they would be "reviewing the security footage to determine how to resolve this solution." That statement alone, with the lack of follow up, add insults to injury. It feels like I'm being gaslit and my lived experience and disappointment is being dismissed. A simple apology and acknowledgement of events could have gone a long way here. I've added a picture from June to compare to the one provided in November. read more

Over the top I paid the $150 deposit fee for a very short 90 minute try on appointment. I was torn between two dresses and couldn't make a decision in such a short amount of time. They assured me that it was ok and that I could call back within the week to secure the dress. The seamstress comes in at the end of the appointment freaking out about terriffs and pressuring me to make a decision quickly because of rising costs and availability. I felt rushed, but I made my decision within 24 hours (despite not being able to look over any photos per their ridiculous rules which i will get to later) returned to the bridal shop the day after my appointment to tell them which dress I wanted and was told I would need to make another appointment just to do so. She asked which dress it was and I could only describe it because they never told me the name or designer of the gown. I described it and they tell me the gown has already sold. In less than 1 day..... i was shocked. If i wanted the same gown I would have had to pay double the price to have it ordered and with my wedding in just three months ordering is not a possibility. I asked why I was not sent the photos they took that my stylist told me to check my email for (they do not allow any of your guests to take their own photos) but they take photos for you..... she tells me the photos are for brides who have purchased a dress only...... HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DECIDE ON A DRESS WITH NO PHOTOS TO LOOK BACK ON!?! I could hardly remember but i felt so rushed by the whole terriff thing I was stressed and not completely sold on the dress but it seemed like my only option. So I called Swoon. They had the same dress, except it was by the actual designer, the one at Inspire was a knock off. The lady at inspire told me they don't carry that designer because it's "too expensive for the reno market"... which I was informed was a lie and that they don't carry it because Swoon does and they don't want to tell you that. Of course that meant the dress was more expensive, but they welcomed me in as a walk in with no appointment fee at all. Amazing. Anyways I ended up getting a completely different dress at swoon because they had a better selection and more unique styles like I was looking for. If you hate dumb annoying rules and not being able to have photos to look at after your appointment just do yourself a favor and skip Inspire and go to Swoon. read more

I'm currently wedding dress shopping for my upcoming wedding this September and went into Annie's to try on some dresses. It was an amazing experience! When you show up, you would have no idea how absolutely beautiful it is inside. Annie explained to me and my ladies all about her shop and her philosophies in the industry. She is very kind and knowledgable of all things bridal. When I walked into the bridal showroom I teared up from how absolutely breathtakingly beautiful it is. I'm not kidding people, it's a WOW moment. My first dress shopping experience was at David's bridal, and going to a boutique is way way different. They have an aisle set up to walk down, to get the real feeling of what that dress will feel like. I had a whole fitting room to myself along with an employee to help me change. It's a super awesome experience to be treated so well, I felt totally pampered and special. No one else is trying on dresses so it is very intimate. As the bride, I got 1 glass of complimentary champagne, however everyone else with you will have to pay $15 per glass (I was unaware of this when booking so just so everyone knows). You also get some sweet treats to share. I didn't end up finding a dress but they are beautiful and it's worth the $50 just to get treated as a princess. I will admit my budget for a dress is VERY low, definitely lower than 99% of people I'm sure lol, but I will say that this boutique is still expensive. I ended up going to a few different boutiques and everyone had dresses similarly priced to studio inspire. I don't think studio inspire is "over priced" or priced higher than other boutiques, however a lot of their marketing implies they will be cheaper ("affordable dresses", "cheaper used dresses" "consignment"). They do consign but the consignment dresses are still easily $900+ so just be aware! read more

Kennedy was knowledgeable, helpful, and provided wonderful service. 2) The space is stunning. I felt like I was in a princess' closet! Cons: 1) No photos! How can I make a decision if I'm not allowed to take photos or keep the professional ones they take? 2) short appointment- an hour is just not enough 3) no transparency on prices. There are not enough great words in the world for how I feel about my experience from Studio Inspire Bridal. Yesterday I said yes to my dress and it was one of the best days of my life and definitely one I'll never forget. From my first phone call with their staff in January, I knew I was going to be treated well at this appointment. The girls on the phone were friendly and super personable. I finally had my appointment yesterday and from the moment we arrived I was beyond pleased with how everything was handled. When you first arrive they will ask you to introduce the people you have brought with you and everyone will get acquainted. This way they can get the general vibe of your wedding and bridal party. Then you are taken into the show room and are able to search for dresses you love with your people. They bridal party is encouraged to not provide much feedback so that the day can remain focused on the bride. I loved this aspect because it helped me keep my focus while looking through the racks. After that you get to try on dresses after a DELICIOUS cotton candy champagne toast. For each dress, you are able to come out and show your party. The setting is beautiful and truly helps you visualize your big day. The appointment is "unplugged", which means no cell phones or outside photos are allowed. Some people are hesitant when they hear this, but trust me it's an amazing way to do things. No distractions, no outside opinions and all the photos that are taken are extremely high quality. All the employees and owners clearly care about their customers and the experience they provide. Buying a wedding dress should be one of the most memorable experiences a girl has in her life and thanks to Studio Inspire, I know will have those memories for the rest of my life. I had super HIGH expectations for this place since I had been to my friend's appointment 2 years ago, but I left feeling so disappointed! So much has changed in just the past 2 years and they didn't openly share their new rules and procedures before the appointment. They really try to be secretive to give the impression that they are exclusive, but it's really not worth the hype at all! 1. They advertise fast and quick communication, but their initial email is automated. It took them 4 days to call me to make an appointment. 2. When they finally booked my appointment, I received a confirmation email, and they charged my card for the appointment right away. That was really unexpected and I felt blindsided since they only asked for a card to keep on file and charge the day of service. 3. I tried calling them to clarify the cost, but no response ever. Had to resort to the robot chat, which was unable to answer my specific questions. 4. I get to the appointment and we are told we can't take pictures and that they will be taking the pictures so we can "enjoy the moment"! At my friend's appointment, we were able to take all the pictures we wanted and we were getting all her angles. Hyping her up and having her change poses and close ups. The stylist just snapped two pictures and made it seem like such a drag! Then we get to the end of the appointment and I'm not able to confidently buy a dress that night, they say they aren't sharing the pictures because they are for paying customers. Not sure what my appointment fee covered then. They really want to blame designers for not being able to snap pictures with their dresses, but just seems like some quick money scheme. I don't understand how not even the pictures that I took with my family and friends NOT wearing a dress cannot be shared and they can keep them. 5. The picture rules should've been shared in the confirmation email and over the phone. With the past experience, I didn't think I had to spend a lot of time researching and reading the q&a page. 6. They never called/emailed to remind me of my appointment, and with their lack of communication and presence, I feared they might've overbooked me or accidentally canceled my appointment and make me and my party drive over an hour to get there for nothing. 7. It's evident that their quality has declined and they are making a last ditch effort to stay relevant, but the whole experience left me with a sour taste in my mouth And deeply regretful. Wow, wow, wow! There aren't enough words to describe how amazing my experience was at Studio Inspire Bridal! It is truly a once in a lifetime experience. I wasn't sure what the big hype was going into it, but boy was I blow away when I got to experience it myself. Here is an overview of my experience: 1. First, the team was super flexible with my first appointment as it was in February 2023 and we had a major snow storm. My mom was coming in from out of town and wouldn't have been able to make it, so they were graciously flexible with me and reschedule it last minute. 2. The dress try on was such a fun experience with my favorite people! The room is STUNNING and the champagne was a fun touch. I found my DREAM dress and couldn't have been more in love. 3. The complementary couples dance lessons was SO much fun! We learned some great moves we incorporated into our first dance and we met some awesome couples! 4. I felt like my dress was taking longer than expected, but the team kept reassuring me that we were on track and not to stress. Once it came in, we did the dress reveal with my family. WOW!!! I can only wonder why the isn't the most talked about Bridal Boutique in Reno! There were 7 of us today who went to a 90 minute appointment to watch my daughter try on wedding dresses. To say that each of us didn't cry more than two times, is an understatement. It's a magical experience. The selection of dresses here is more than we had at other shops in Reno- and the studio setting that you try the dresses on in is the added touch that no other wedding dress shop can compete with. And, Anicia (owner/photographer) had done her research and selected a few dresses she knew she should try on. I will never recommend this place to any bride. I will start off by saying Kennedy was amazing, but the photographer was horrible and the following experience is regarding the "professional"photographer (seems like she bought a camera yesterday and calls herself professional). From the start I (the bride) felt pressured to buy, rushed, and unwelcome. The first 10 minutes of the appointment are wasted with rituals that I felt very awkward and unnecessary. Before entering the showroom we were forced to put our phones away because no photos are allowed. They have a photographer on site, which I understand can be great to have, but the only way you can get any photos back (including your group photo) is if you buy a dress. Many brides like myself like to have photos to compare when deciding between multiple dresses, it's a BIG decision. When I asked for photos of myself in one specific dress to compare with another one I loved, I was told no because I didn't buy anything. While trying on dresses I was forced to say what I did and didn't like about each one in front of everyone. That's fine, but after trying 4 dresses and not loving them I was aggressively told that "if their dresses can't make me happy then nothing will." Very rude, aggressive, and cold comment from the photographer the whole visit. It seemed as though Kennedy is the only reason people have good experiences here. I felt as though she was trying to make up for the actions of the photographer. As a bride, my experience was ruined by a fake photographer. Don't waste your time or money here. It started with telling us if we were late our clock would still be running for the time slot we booked, everyone must show up together, and remember it's a $60 booking. We showed up early and they answered on their ring camera and told us to wait outside in the cold until they were ready at 10am exactly. Then went the whole story. Annie spent all this time talking about her and Kennedy and another girl that got a dress at Studio Inspire. If we knew it would be a hard one hour stop we would have told her to move along with her story so our girl could get into some dresses. She was cut off at a MAX of 5 dresses and was required to choose 2 she didn't even like or weren't her style. A glass of champagne with Walmart cookies was $15 a person. The only complimentary thing was the brides champagne. Also they like to tell you how they have this super cool photographer. Well you don't get any of the photos afterwards to look at on decision making. You also don't even get the group photo taken for the memories. The only thing helping that place stand on a bit of a leg was Kennedy because she did have a kind personality and was trying to understand the brides style. What a phenomenal experience!! I was so impressed by the entire process and have nothing but good things to say. As someone who feels completely overwhelmed being in the spotlight, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I have my stylist, Kennedy to thank for everything. (Also, shout out to the photographer for taking photos!) My favorite things about Studio Inspire include: A private room where I could try on dresses. After reading other reviews, I see some people didn't love that they tried on more dresses in the back that weren't shown to their crew, but I felt the complete opposite. Kennedy really took the time to understand what I was looking for and was constantly taking mental notes about the things I liked and didn't like to help me find the perfect dress. Having a photographer. I loved that my crew was able to focus on the experience and not be caught up taking photos. It was also incredibly helpful being able to look at the photos of me in the dress in real time, which helped me make a more informed decision about my dress. I was also able to get copies of all the pictures at the end of the appointment. Kennedy. As my stylist, she was very professional and charismatic. She really took the time to get to know me as well as make me feel stunning throughout the entire experience. I have gone to other wedding dress venues and personally it made a huge difference for me having someone to talk to and laugh with to make the experience more comfortable. She truly listened to what I was saying and honestly she deserves ALL the credit for finding the perfect dress for me! I would like to note that for most people an hour won't be enough time to try on dresses, so plan for at least an hour and a half. Also, only the bride gets complimentary champagne. Personally, my crew didn't mind paying for the champagne, but from reading other reviews, it might be something to keep in mind. Oh and did I mention I did find the PERFECT dress?!
