On another occasion, she took a call immediately after we were done and didn't even say goodbye to me as I was leaving. It's not a spa and I'm not expecting star treatment, but at least save the decorating emergencies for after the treatment is over. I recently called her to get a follow up, and she never even called me back. I should have pretended to be her decorator, and then I would've gotten a call back right in the middle of her treating a client! Fortunately, I found another place, so I won't be going back.

She also did a great job and made me feel very comfortable doing my leg and bikini area. I recommend Rachael to friends with burgeoning facial hair, but some people want to take the "easy" way out and wax (which will only make the hair grow thicker and stronger) rather than invest in a permanent solution. Mind you, I had made this appointment a while ago, but they had to change it because something had happened with her son that she needed to pick him up and couldn't stay in the office, so I graciously changed the date which was fine. That happens to everyone. She kept pushing at the appointment to start procedures that I had been inquiring about. I wasn't ready to do that. I needed to ruminate. And decide if I wanna move forward. All in all, I think if you want this type of service in a place that allows you a monthly membership, this might be for you, it was not for me.

The issue isn't that something unexpected happened--it's that no one communicated this to me beforehand. They admitted they should have notified me, but by then I had already driven there and rearranged my day. As an athlete, I can only schedule these treatments on my one day off each week because I can't work out for 24 hours afterward. Morning appointments are already extremely difficult to book, so having one wasted because of poor communication is incredibly frustrating. What disappoints me most isn't just the mistakes--it's how they're handled. Both times I received an apology, but there was no meaningful effort to make things right. Good customer service isn't about never making mistakes; it's about how you respond when you do. The only reason I continue coming here is because I prepaid for my treatments.
