Really fortunate to come across Raya's place on Yelp after the fiasco that occurred down the street at Elite MedSpa. As most saw from the reviews, everyone is orphaned out of their treatments because the business decided to move without informing the clients; this move has taken over a month and a half and no information has been released. What is worse is the people who bought prepaid services (like me) were really left high and dry. Raya is amazingly wonderful, she's so cheerful and professional and very educated on matters of laser. As an Armenian, it's comforting to know there is a woman (also Armenian!) that understands our genetic disposition on hair growth. I am a veteran when it comes to laser hair removal and she's by the far the most skilled at making me feel comfortable. Her prices are fair and organized and her dedication is remarkable to her craft as she is the only person running RG ProLaser. I truly look forward to returning here for the rest of my treatments and starting new ones all over! The results were good, so three stars for that. It was intensely painful, but I guess I expected that. Subtracting two stars because Raya was completely distracted during most of our appointments. She seem like she had something else she needed to be doing, and she just needed to get our appointment over with. On one occasion, she stopped doing the laser treatment right in the middle and took a long phone call from her interior decorator. On another occasion, she took a call immediately after we were done and didn't even say goodbye to me as I was leaving. It's not a spa and I'm not expecting star treatment, but at least save the decorating emergencies for after the treatment is over. I recently called her to get a follow up, and she never even called me back. I should have pretended to be her decorator, and then I would've gotten a call back right in the middle of her treating a client! I cannot say enough good things about Angelika and RG Pro! I'm on session 3 of getting Brazilian and armpit laser and it has been a great experience. Angelika makes you feel so comfortable as the first time can be kind of awkward and she walks you through the whole process so you know what she is doing/why. I've had fantastic results on my underarms after just one treatment. Raya is warm, professional, knowledgeable, and has a very clean cozy office. Her machine blasts cool air next to the laser site, which minimizes pain (honestly, when she did a test area, I didn't even feel it at all). Her package prices are very reasonable compared to competitors in the Boston area. I'll amend my review if anything changes after my next few treatments, but so far I'm thrilled with the results. I bought the 6 treatment package for underarms and am halfway through it. My hair is near black, so even if I shave I still have that unattractive shadow. I also used to have ingrown hairs - it was a mess. After my first treatment, half of the hairs didn't grow back! It's even better now. No more ingrowns, no more five o'clock shadow on my armpits. Raya is very sweet and knowledgeable. The place is super clean and is comfortable yet medical enough that you trust it. No-stress scheduling: I've always been able to get time slots that work with my busy schedule, and you get text message reminders which is very convenient. 2.
