Best part was how much you can tell that she knows what she's doing. She asks you a few questions about what you are looking for and gets right to work. I love that I asked her to keep the length and she really did as most places cut off too much and the client goes home in regret if it ends up too short. Not the case here. Kayless also gave it a new style, something I had been looking for and not been able to achieve for a few years now, going through many different stylists in Denver. I am not staying in Denver but will come back to her every time I come visit. Kaylee is talented and great at her skill, do your hair style a favor and visit her. I visited Royal Organic Salon in June for what I specifically booked as a color correction. Before…read morescheduling, I explained over the phone that my hair had been professionally dyed black (not box dye) and that I wanted to return to my natural level 7 color. During that phone call, I was given the impression that this was something they could do. However, I wasn't told until I had already arrived, was sitting in the chair, and had product applied to my hair that they would not be able to achieve my desired result. I wish I had been informed before the service began so I could have made an informed decision. Instead of a color correction, my roots ended up a completely different color from the rest of my hair, and the overall lift was minimal. My hair was left with multiple different shades--some areas were light brown, others dark brown, and some were still black. It looked almost the same as when I walked in, despite paying well over $300. I was originally quoted around $250 over the phone, so the final price was also much higher than I expected. Because I was unhappy with the results, I went to another stylist for a second opinion. They were able to achieve my desired color in a single appointment for nearly the same price. They also told me that, based on what they saw, it appeared my hair had mainly been treated with a color remover rather than receiving what they would consider a true color correction. I wish this had been explained to me beforehand so I could have made a more informed decision about moving forward. About a week later, I contacted the salon to see if I could receive a partial refund. Unfortunately, that experience was even more disappointing. The manager was very rude, accused me of lying, demanded photo evidence, and referenced reviewing their security camera footage, saying I looked happy during my appointment. Like many people, I wasn't comfortable telling my stylist I disliked my hair while still sitting in the chair, especially knowing I was about to pay for the service. I also didn't fully realize how uneven the color was until I saw my hair in natural sunlight. I've included photos below to show the results. I wasn't looking for a full refund--I simply wanted the salon to acknowledge my concerns and work toward a fair resolution. Instead, I was met with a defensive response. Everyone's experience is different, but based on my experience, I won't be returning. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision before booking a color correction here.

I asked for several light pastel colors to be added in my hair and she used extremely bright, almost neon shades. Not only was the color terrible, but my hair was completely fried because she overprocessed with the bleach. It actually was starting to break and fall out while I was there and my hair was being blow dried after the bleach and before adding the colors. When I was looking for someone to fix what she had done I was told that it was completely unnecessary to have even used bleach and that she never should have attempted what I asked for in one session. I consulted with 3 other stylists about fixing my hair and all of them said that they would have told me they could not do what I wanted without multiple visits and incorporating different colors over time. Tracy refused to refund my money and was going to charge me again to fix what she had done that looked so awful. A reputable stylist would want their client to be happy and would at the very least fix the problem for free. Not Tracy. She also said that in order to fix my hair it would need to be bleached yet again. That was not accurate. I was able to see a stylist who actually is a color expert and he was able to bring my hair back to a beautiful brown without any bleaching. I saw Tracy in June. It is now November and my hair is still damaged and falling out in clumps. That is why I am leaving my review months after my visit. My hair was butchered by Tracy. It was healthy and strong before she touched it. To top off the horrible color job, Tracy had an attitude during my entire appointment and made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt so weird that I actually told her that even though I hated my hair, it was what I asked for, which it wasn't. I went in to say that I didn't like it and wanted it fixed as soon as possible because I was embarrassed to be seen in public. She wasn't helpful in discussions about what could be done and actually suggested that I use hydrogen peroxide on my severely damaged hair to help remove the designer colors. I do see she has many positive reviews, which is very surprising to me, but maybe she was having an off day when I got my hair done. All I know is that it will take a long, long time for my hair to be healthy again and I deeply regret ever having let Tracy touch my hair.

I've been seeing Misha for several years now and he's literally heaven sent. He's an Angel! He has worked miracles on my hair. He is true to the core. He's also been coloring my daughters hair for a few years now and he's gradually adding highlights to support her age. My daughter loves him just as much as I do!
