Wow - I have never experience someone so self-sabotaging in their business. I haven't had my hair cut in way too long and I was looking for someone reliable I can go to on a regular basis. I also wanted someone who didn't focus so much on feminine styles and I live in walking distance of this salon so it was perfect. Reviews here seemed great, except for a few that mentioned the owner refuses to answer questions on the phone. Well, those negative reviews were right. I read through the entire website describing the services they offer, but I had a few questions. So I called to ask them a few clarifying questions. The owner was so incredibly rude to me. He kept telling me to look at the website. I explained that I had already read through the entire website and had some follow up questions. He told me again to read the website. I don't know if this dude just doesn't want AFAB clients or what his problem is. But he just turned away someone that could have been a reliable client for years. Huge huge attitude problem. I highly recommend going elsewhere. Edit: in response to the owners response here, I need to add to my review that he is a straight up liar. I never asked for a phone consultation. I asked what they mean when they say no styling is included in a cut. Does that mean I leave with a wet head, or do they dry the hair and not style it? I also asked if I could decide once I get there if I want to do styling or if I need to decide in advance. Neither of those questions are answered on their website and neither of them include me asking for some kind of phone consultation. This guy is a liar and terrible business person. read more

I've been coming to Studio Millan for years. I can't say enough amazing things about Ricardo. The studio is always clean and inviting. I always get the Japanese straightening and even though it's a long process the time flies by in his studio. Music is always great and sometimes I get stuck focusing on his back round tv shows.
